FORT WORTH — A man has been charged with murdering his ex-girlfriend and two other women believed to be related to her.
The three victims were found dead in a home in the 500 block of West Felix Street on Tuesday. Two victims were shot in the head. The third was stabbed to death, police said.
Police say Cedric McGinnis, an ex-boyfriend of one of the victims, voluntarily spoke to officers and admitted to being involved with the murders. He also told detectives where evidence could be found.
He has been charged with capital murder and his bond has been set at $1.25 million.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's office identified two of the victims as 48-year-old Cynthia Serrano and 35-year-old Kathy DeLeon.
A family member at the scene said the victims were a mother and her two daughters.
