Three Men Arrested For Robbing Contractors In Frayser by Sabrina Hall
Vid at link

(Memphis) Memphis police have three young men in jail and are looking for a fourth person who they say robbed contractors working on a house in Frayser.

It happened November 27th, but police just tracked down Christopher Alexander, who police say played a part in the crime.

Court documents show the criminals forced the workers to lay down on the floor at gun point

Two of the alleged robbers were caught the same night of the crime because they were seen running into a house on the same street where they committed the crime, but it took police a while to catch the third suspect.

A Frayser couple says the robbers used their yard to get away.

“They just ran across the yard here after they robbed the guys,” said Nathaniel Alexander.

“They ran across the yard, past this truck and ran up there to the house up there, the blue house,” said Bridgette Patterson.

Officers caught Carleess Willis and Gregerio Dodson in the house just minutes after the crime.

Now police have one more person in jail, Alexander.

Police say all three of them, along with a fourth suspect, held up the contractors, who were working in a vacant house on Chattering Lane.

Armed with guns, police say they forced the workers to lay on the floor, robbing them of an iPhone, cash and jewelry.

When the robbers bolted, the victims came outside and saw them run into a house a few doors down.

“All the police went flying to the house,” said Patterson.

Alexander says he was tempted to shoot at the men as they ran across his yard.

“You have a gun and you could have shot them?” asked teporter Sabrina Hall.

“Of course I have a gun. Who doesn’t have a gun? For the house and protection,” said Alexander.

He says his family does what it can to help police and stay safe in what they call a dangerous neighborhood.

“We keep an alarm and bars on the house. It’s not safe,” said Patterson.

Willis and Alexander both have criminal histories but were on the street before getting locked-up again.

“What should be done?” asked Hall.

“Well, we need to get them a job or keep them locked up,” said Alexander. “Who knows the solution? I don`t.” I do! All you niggers should be shipped back to Afreaka!

The men’s bonds have been set at various amounts, all more than $60,000. Alexander has the highest at a quarter of a million dollars.

TOWSON, Md. - Baltimore County police have arrested two men in connection with an armed robbery at the Towson Town Center, according to a release.

Damon King, 20, and Malik Smith, 17, are suspected of using a knife to rob a man in one of the mall’s bathrooms back on Nov. 22. But the incident did not end there.

The victim retaliated. He chased the suspects down in the mall and actually wrestled one of them to the ground. The other suspect meanwhile pulled what appeared to be a handgun out of his bag, effectively ending the fight, allowing the two to run away.

In the scuffle, Smith dropped his mobile phone, which was recovered by police. Investigators used the phone to track Smith down and make an arrest. Over the course of the investigation, it was also determined the “gun” used in the robbery was actually a BB gun, police said.

King, of the 1700 block of North Fulton Ave., and Smith, of the 300 block of North Gay St., are charged with armed robbery.

Police: Man dressed in suit robbing DeKalb businesses

man-tie.jpg

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. —

A sharp-dressed man with a tire iron is robbing DeKalb County businesses.

Police said with each robbery, he's getting more aggressive, and they hope releasing surveillance video will help catch him before someone gets killed.

DeKalb County police said he looks like your average businessman in a suit and tie with a nice overcoat and comes in around the time most people are getting off work. He goes to the register with a bag of Cheetos, and that's when he threatens the clerk and grabs the cash.

A clerk said she was working when the man came into her store with one hand in his pocket. Police said he threatened her and demanded cash from her register.

"He wasn't aggressive, wasn't loud, didn't draw attention to himself," said DeKalb County Sgt. Erik Heimer.

Police said that's his mode of operation. In the first robbery, outside of verbal threats, he was not physically aggressive and looked professional.

"Very unassuming, comes up with chips dressed in a suit no feeling of being threatened by," Heimer said.

Police said the man has now robbed three business in a four-week period and with each one, he's becoming more dangerous.

"He produced a tire iron, threatened the cashier with tire iron, threatened her life," Heimer said.

The man attempted to rob a Decatur Rite Aid on Dec. 13, but police said it didn't go as planned. He dropped the money, making him agitated.

"Struck the cashier and chased them around," Hemier said.

He was back at it a short time later about a mile away.

"While we were processing that robbery scene an hour later, he robbed Walgreens," Heimer said.

The cashier told Channel 2 Action News her son's face flashed before her eyes during the robbery. She's hoping by speaking out, someone will come forward.

TEANECK — Police arrested four people, including a blind man, after two men were robbed of their cell phones and cash at gunpoint Tuesday night.

According to Teaneck Police Chief Robert Wilson, the victims were waiting to meet a female acquaintance at the intersection of Linden Avenue and Kipp Street at around 8:30 p.m. when they were approached by two men wearing masks that only covered the bottom halves of their faces.

One of the men lifted his shirt to flash a handgun stuffed in his waistband, and threatened to shoot the victims if they tried to run, Wilson said. No shots were fired, but they eventually made off on foot with cash and each of the men's phones.

When officers arrived on scene, the victims provided them with descriptions of each of their assailants, including that one appeared to be blind.

"They based this assessment on the appearance of the actor's eyes and the manner in which he was being led around by the second actor," Wilson said.

An investigation led detectives to a home on American Legion Drive, where suspects Andre Ziemoore, Marshall Harper and Ayesha Mitchell live. They watched as the trio, along with Jamila Eason of Englewood, hopped into a Ford Freestar minivan and drove to a nearby Stop & Shop supermarket.

Once there, Ziemoore jumped out of the van and grabbed a plastic bag, which had been buried under a patch of snow beneath a tree, Wilson said.

Police pulled them over as it left the parking lot, and received permission from Mitchell to search the van. Inside the plastic bag, they found the two cell phones that had been taken from the victims.

All four were taken to Teaneck police headquarters as detectives obtained a search warrant for the American Legion Drive home. Once inside, they found a black handgun, as well as clothes allegedly worn by the attackers during the robbery, according to Wilson.

Ziemoore, 21, and Harper, 25, were each charged with first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a firearm and luring an adults. Ziemoore was also charged with certain persons not to have a weapon.

Both were taken to the Bergen County Jail, where they were held on $250,000 bonds.

Mitchell, 22, was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a firearm, hindering arrest, receiving stolen property and possession of marijuana. She was taken to the Bergen County Jail and held on $175,000 bond.

Eason, 19, was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and luring an adult, and was held on $100,000 bond.

Elderly Man Robbed of Thousands Intended for Christmas Gifts by Tiffany McCall

PRICHARD, Ala. - A 96 year old man was released from USA Medical Center this morning after being attacked and robbed at gunpoint. He was too afraid to speak on camera, so his cousin is speaking for him. Please read about Prichard.

"It's sad that you have been frightened to the point that you don't want to talk about it, but everybody needs to know about it," said his cousin Thelma Owens.

Owens says her cousin had arrived home from making a trip to the grocery store and credit union, when he was robbed at gunpoint on Monday night.

"He exited his car. They put a choke hold on him, had a pistol in his hand, got him to the ground and straddled him. Shot hit in the top of his head, but thank God the bullet ricochet," Owens said. Shot the old nigger in the head and the bullet ricocheted, knowha'm'say'n. :rotfl:

The thief took 5 thousand dollars. The money was going to be distributed as Christmas gifts among family members - and if that wasn't enough, the victim says this is the 4th time this year he's been robbed. I smell nigger scam!

He lives on a dead end road, surrounded by abandoned homes and overgrown yards, which his family says makes him more of a target.

"It's a very scary feeling because it seems like the elderly are being attacked. If you live in an area where there is blight and you don't get in the house before it's dark, you may not live to see the next day," said Owens.

I interviewed the 96 year old almost one year ago, after a tornado came barreling through Semler street on Christmas day. A huge tree toppled over making the road impassible. After surviving a twister last year, and an attack this year, his family is grateful he's alive.

"I know it is a miracle and I know it is a God. Everybody needs to know about it. Especially the elderly. If you live alone and you need to go out, call someone," Owens said. This is a nigger scam to get charity!

Mrs. Owens say she's tried to get her cousin to move, but he's reluctant because he's called the neighborhood home for decades. The family is hoping that the city will clean up the blight in the area. Meanwhile, Prichard police say the case is still under investigation. So far, no arrest has been made.

Hoover police charge teen suspects in CVS robberies as adults by Melynda Sides

HOOVER, AL (WBRC) -
Hoover police have arrested two Indiana teenagers for robbing a CVS pharmacy in Inverness early Monday. The same two teens are also suspected of robbing three other CVS pharmacies in two other cities earlier this week.

Police believe the teens robbed two CVS pharmacies in Tuscaloosa in about an hour and a half span on Sunday afternoon. The first robbery happened at 1:15 p.m. at the Five Points CVS and the other happened around 2:40 p.m. at a CVS on Highway 69 South.

About 10 hours later, around 12:45 a.m. Monday, the teens allegedly held up employees at the Inverness CVS at Valleydale Road and Highway 280. No one was injured in the robbery.

Later on Monday, a CVS manager in Midfield notified authorities that two people who fit the description of the robbery suspects were inside the store, Captain Jim Coker with Hoover PD said.

Midfield and Hoover police officers responded to the CVS and took the suspects into custody.

Officers say the men were targeting pharmacies for their prescription medicines. They have not said if any cash was taken during the robberies.

Hoover police said they found enough evidence to obtain robbery warrants against the suspects through the Shelby County District Attorney's Office.

Marcus Tyrone Burks, Jr., 16, of Indianapolis, Indiana, will be charged as an adult with first degree robbery.

Terry Tyrell Rush, 16, also of Indianapolis, Indiana, also faces a first degree robbery charge.

Both suspects have a $30,000 bond and will be transferred to the Shelby County Jail.

Hoover police say other law enforcement agencies are being contacted due to the similarity of the Hoover case with other robberies
