Bill Cosby's 1980s Co-Star Claims He Sexually Assaulted Her, Paid College Tuition
By Jason Hughes

Another woman has come forward with allegations of potential sexual misconduct by Bill Cosby, and this one was a co-star of his for four years. Renita Chaney Hill co-starred alongside Cosby during the 1980s in his “Picture Pages” educational videos.

Bill Cosby was at the height of his power with NBC's “The Cosby Show” when he encountered Hill. His “Picture Pages” segments filmed in Pittsburgh — the shorts started on a local Pittsburgh children's show — and he was looking for local talent. Hill, a 15-year-old model and aspiring actress, was recommended by her modeling agency.

The Pittsburgh native spoke to local CBS news station KDKA about the alleged attacks late last week. She told KDKA reporter Ralph Iannotti that Cosby flew her to various cities, from New York to Atlanta.

She said she wouldn't see him during the day, but would go to his hotel room at night. She then detailed a similar story to the other alleged victims, claiming the comedian gave her drinks she now believes were drugged.

“One time, I remember just before I passed out, I remember him kissing and touching me and I remember the taste of his cigar on his breath, and I didn't like it,” Hill told KDKA. “I remember another time when I woke up in my bed the next day and he was leaving. He mentioned you should probably lose a little weight. I thought that odd, how would he know that?”

Hill did say that she can't know for sure if she was raped because she was unconscious. “It just felt weird to me, and I remember being in high school saying to him, ‘I'll come see you, but I don't want to drink because it makes me feel funny,'” Hill said. “And he would tell me that if I didn't drink, I couldn't come see him.”

By the time she was 19, Hill claims Cosby was paying her college tuition and her family saw him as a father-figure in her life. Nevertheless, she decided to cut off all contact and gave up her dream of being an actress.

Hill says she came forward after hearing Cosby's attorney criticize the other women who have already done so, and she is unapologetic about waiting so long. “No one wants to be associated with something like this, but the bottom line for me is that no one has the right to violate someone else, no matter who they are,” she said. “I don't care how big they are or how the community sees them, it's not right.”

The mounting allegations against Bill Cosby have already cost him several high-profile gigs. His Thanksgiving Netflix comedy special has been cancelled, as has the NBC sitcom he had in development. TV Land pulled reruns of “The Cosby Show” from its air.

Cosby is continuing to tour and perform stand-up, though two shows in Las Vegas have been cancelled. He most recently appeared in Florida where he received two standing ovations.

He defended his ongoing refusal to comment, telling Florida Today before his performance, “I know people are tired of me not saying anything, but a guy doesn't have to answer to innuendos. People should fact check. People shouldn't have to go through that and shouldn't answer to innuendos.”

Ex-NBC Employee Says He Brought Women to Bill Cosby, Sent Them Money
Monday, Nov 24, 2014 • Updated at 3:51 PM EST

A former employee of NBC Entertainment has come forward to claim he regularly brought young women to Bill Cosby's dressing room and was asked to send money to multiple women over the years.

Frank Scotti, who says he worked as a facilities manager for the Brooklyn NBC Studio where "Cosby Show" was filmed, is the latest to go public with stories of Cosby’s past.

Scotti, 90, said it was once his job to guard the door after bringing young women to Cosby's dressing room. "I felt like a pimp,'' Scotti told "Today." "Every time he had somebody I had to watch, I had the girl stay there. I felt dirty."

Scotti also claims he was asked by the comedian to send money to various women, sometimes thousands of dollars a month. "All I know is that Bill Cosby told me that certain people, I want you to send this money out to them. He told me how much and I said fine and I went and got money orders, said Scotti. He said he never delivered the money but always sent it by mail, and never met the women to whom he sent money.

"I just felt, you know, he's not the person I thought he was,'' Scotti said of his decision to come forward.

One of the women whose name appears on several money orders Scotti showed "Today" says the gifts were purely "generosity" on the part of Cosby and were intended to help pay for her son’s boarding school.

“It is a shame that Dr. William Cosby’s generosity is being questioned and maligned," said Alva Chinn, a model and actress who appeared in several episodes of "The Cosby Show." “The source could have asked me first before releasing these money orders."

Scotti told the New York Daily News he eventually quit working with Cosby, "because of the girls."

Cosby has never been charged with a crime, but 18 women have now publicly accused the star of sexual assault or attempted assault.

In response to Scotti's allegations Cosby's attorney, Martin Singer, told NBC News, "It appears that his story is pure speculation so that he can get his 15 minutes of fame.''

"I know people are tired of me not saying anything, but a guy doesn't have to answer to innuendos,'' Cosby told Florida Today after receiving a standing ovation at a comedy show on Saturday. "People should fact-check." Cosby has always denied allegations of assault.

Colleges Cut Ties With Bill Cosby Amid Rape Allegations
The University of Massachusetts-Amherst has cut ties with alumnus Bill Cosby amid allegations by women accusing him of sexual assault
Friday, Nov 28, 2014 • Updated at 9:44 AM EST

The University of Massachusetts-Amherst has cut ties with alumnus Bill Cosby amid allegations by women accusing him of sexual assault. Other schools have also chosen to distance themselves from the comedian.

A university spokesman told the Boston Globe on Wednesday university officials had asked Cosby to step down as an honorary co-chairman of their $300 million fundraising campaign and Cosby agreed.

Cosby received a master's degree and a doctorate in education from the university. He and his wife donated several hundred thousand dollars to the university.

Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley sent a letter to the university urging it to cut ties with Cosby.

Coakley says while Cosby hadn't been criminally charged his association sends the wrong message when the state is focused on the prevention of campus sexual assault.

Berklee College of Music in Boston said Wednesday that Cosby is no longer affiliated with an online scholarship named in his honor. Cosby, who plays the drums and writes music, was a recipient of an honorary degree from the school in 2004.

Other institutions have severed ties with the comedian. High Point University in North Carolina has temporarily removed his name from its advisory board and Freed-Hardeman University in Tennessee dropped Cosby from its annual benefit dinner in December, NBC News reported.

Meanwhile, excerpts released Wednesday from a 2005 deposition reveal that Cosby testified under oath in 2005 that he gave the National Enquirer an exclusive interview about one woman’s sexual-assault accusations in order to prevent the tabloid from reporting a second accuser's story, The Associated Press reported.

Cosby's lawyer has called the sexual assault allegations "unsubstantiated" and "discredited."

Bill Cosby's Testimony Describes Accuser's Spiked Story
By MaryClaire Dale
Thursday, Nov 27, 2014 • Updated at 7:56 PM EST

Bill Cosby testified under oath in 2005 that he gave the National Enquirer an exclusive interview about looming sexual-assault accusations by a Canadian woman against him in exchange for the tabloid spiking a second accuser's story.

Excerpts released Wednesday of Cosby's deposition from a civil lawsuit filed by Andrea Constand quote Cosby as saying he feared the public would believe her sexual-assault accusations if the Enquirer published similar claims by Beth Ferrier. Both women accused Cosby of drugging and molesting them.

"Did you ever think that if Beth Ferrier's story was printed in the National Enquirer, that that would make the public believe that maybe Andrea was also telling the truth?" Cosby was asked.

"Exactly," Cosby replied, according to court motions initially filed under seal and made available from archived federal court records.

Cosby, in the deposition, said he had a contract with the Enquirer.

"I would give them an exclusive story, my words," Cosby said in the Sept. 29, 2005, deposition. In return, "they would not print the story of -- print Beth's story."

The release of the documents comes after Cosby this month was shown on an Associated Press video trying to persuade the news cooperative not to use his response when asked this month about sexual-abuse allegations.

"I would appreciate if it was scuttled," Cosby said in a videotaped exchange with the AP on Nov. 6.

Cosby said in 2005 he had been given a draft of Ferrier's interview with the Enquirer and was told she had passed its lie-detector test. He said he also was given an advance look at his exclusive, titled "My Story," which warned that he would defend against anyone trying to ``exploit'' him.

Constand later sued Cosby and the Enquirer, alleging defamation. The claims were consolidated with her sexual-assault lawsuit against Cosby and were settled.

A representative for American Media, Inc., which owns the National Enquirer, said in an emailed statement Wednesday that the Enquirer was "unflinching" in its coverage of the allegations against Cosby.

"We continue to remain aggressive in our reporting today and stand by the integrity of our coverage of this story which we have taken the lead on for more than a decade," the representative said.

Cosby had said at his deposition that Constand and her mother asked only for an apology in early phone calls about the issue in January 2005, and he said they received one.

"Andrea's mother said, 'That's all I wanted, Bill,'" Cosby testified.

Constand's lawyers argued in their defamation suit: "Requesting only an apology is not the action of an extortionist or someone who wants to 'exploit' a celebrity."

They said that Cosby later called back and offered to pay for Constand's "education."

Constand had met Cosby through her job with the women's basketball team at Temple University in Philadelphia, and she said he sexually assaulted her at his nearby home in 2004. She quit the job and moved home that year, and she first filed a report with Ontario police on Jan. 13, 2005, and filed a federal civil suit that March. After prosecutors near Philadelphia decided not to file criminal charges, several other women came forward to support Constand's claims, including Ferrier.

Ferrier has gone public about what she called her brief affair with Cosby when she was a model in 1984. She said that he once drugged her coffee during an encounter in Denver and that she woke up hours later in the back seat of her car with her clothes disheveled. The Enquirer in 2005 withheld her story and instead published Cosby's account, in which he said, "Sometimes you try to help people and it backfires on you and then they try to take advantage of you."

In the legal deposition, taken at a Philadelphia hotel, Constand's lawyer asked Cosby if he tried in the Enquirer article "to make the public believe that Andrea was not telling the truth?"

"Yes," Cosby replied.

Constand's civil lawsuit grew to include nine women willing to testify about allegations of sexual assaults involving Cosby. Some came forward after a suburban Philadelphia prosecutor declined to file criminal charges over Constand's police complaint.

A comedian this year referenced the accusations anew in a performance, prompting some of the suit's Jane Doe witnesses to reveal their names and other women to raise new accusations.

Cosby has refused to discuss allegations raised in recent weeks by numerous women.

New Lawsuit Brings Cosby Abuse Claims Into Court
By ANTHONY McCARTNEY
AP Entertainment Writer

LOS ANGELES (AP) - A lawsuit by a woman who claims Bill Cosby molested her when she was 15 years old has moved allegations of sexual misconduct against the comedian from the court of public opinion into the courthouse.

Judy Huth's lawsuit filed Tuesday in Los Angeles accuses Cosby of forcing her to perform a sex act on him in a bedroom of the Playboy Mansion around 1974. She is the latest woman to accuse the comedian of sex abuse, and is the first one since 2005 to file a lawsuit.

Cosby has been beset for weeks by allegations by more than a dozen women that he drugged and sexually assaulted them in incidents spanning several decades. The comedian has not been criminally charged and many of the claims are so old, they are barred by statutes of limitations.

Huth's lawsuit, however, contends that she became aware of the serious effect the abuse had on her within the past three years. California law allows victims of sex abuse when they were minors to bring a claim after adulthood if they discover later in life that they suffered psychological injuries as a result of the abuse.

Cosby has not been criminally charged, but Netflix and NBC have scuttled projects featuring the comedian and several shows on his comedy tour have also been canceled.

His attorney Martin Singer did not return an email message seeking comment Tuesday night.

Huth's sexual battery and infliction of emotional distress lawsuit states that she and a 16-year-old friend first met Cosby at a Los Angeles-area film shoot and the comedian gave the girls drinks a week later at a tennis club.

The lawsuit states that Cosby took them to the Playboy Mansion after several drinks, and told the teenagers to lie and say they were 19 years old if asked. Her lawsuit states Cosby forced her to perform a sex act on him with her hand.

"This traumatic incident, at such a tender age, has caused psychological damage and mental anguish for (Huth) that has caused significant problems throughout her life," the lawsuit states.

Huth's lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court is the first time a woman has gone public claiming Cosby abused her when she was underage. A second woman told Pittsburgh television station KDKA last month that Cosby drugged her to the point of unconsciousness in the 1980s when she was 15.

The suit does not specify how much Huth is seeking from Cosby.

Singer has denied previous accusations or said the women raising the claims in interviews had been discredited.

Singer's statement does not apply to a lawsuit brought in 2005 by Andrea Constand, who claimed Cosby drugged and molested her at his suburban Philadelphia mansion in 2004. Constand, who worked for the women's basketball team at Temple University, and Cosby settled the case before trial.

Cosby resigned from the university's board of trustees on Monday. He had been the school's public face, appearing in advertisements, fundraising campaigns and delivering commencement speeches.

Navy Revokes Bill Cosby’s Honorary Title Following Sexual Assault Allegations
December 4, 2014 3:48 PM

ARLINGTON, Va. (CBS) – The Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus and Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy Michael Stevens announced the Navy is revoking Bill Cosby’s title of honorary Chief Petty Officer following numerous accusations that he drugged and sexually assaulted several women.

Cosby was originally presented the title in 2011.

The Navy says it is taking this action because allegations against Cosby are “very serious and are in conflict with the Navy’s core values of honor, courage and commitment.”

The Navy says Cosby enlisted in 1956 and served four years as a hospital corpsman before being honorably discharged in 1960 as a 3rd Class Petty Officer.

Cosby resigned from the Temple University Board of Trustees earlier this week.

Passed around by dozens of Hollywood leading men over a decade former Playboy model Paige Young had become damaged goods.

When she turned 30 in 1974 her star had faded and she felt used, abused and unwanted by the Hollywood establishment.

And in an astonishing tale of tragedy a MailOnline investigation can today reveal the truth behind this American beauty’s demise.

Paige Young – Playboy Playmate of the Month in November 1968 – shot herself in the head in a bid she thought would send a powerful message to the men who had tormented her for so long. She signed this photo for her dear friend, DJ Jonny King

‘Paige always seemed in a stupor, a daze, like he was controlling her. All I remember is that their relationship wasn’t healthy,' says Tamara Green, herself a victim of Cosby's

We have learned that Young – Playboy Playmate of the Month in November 1968 – shot herself in the head in a bid she thought would send a powerful message to the men who she believed had tormented her for so long.

Last week it emerged that one of her tormentors may have been legendary comedian Bill Cosby.

Young’s name was mentioned in media reports along with the dozens of women who have made shocking allegations of rape and sexual assault against the comic.

Very little was known of Young and Cosby’s encounter but her story is all the more intriguing given her death.

Now MailOnline can reveal that Cosby in fact dated Young for months at the height of her fame.

One of Cosby’s victims, attorney Tamara Green, knew Paige from modeling circles and recalls seeing the pair together.

Tamara Green recalls that she ran into Paigewhile in El Paso, Texas around 1970 and learned she was dating Bill Cosby.

‘I called around and found a bag of pot some place on the edge of El Paso.

The full extent of if or how Cosby contributed to the young starlet’s demise may never be known.

But what is clear is that she would later blame him and a host of other Hollywood stars for her fragile state of mind that led to her suicide.

Young was found dead on April 7, 1974 in her West Hollywood apartment.

In a scene reminiscent of a 1970s B-movie the model’s lifeless body was discovered lying on a blood soaked American flag on her double bed.

It was Palm Sunday and she came to tell me she was going to kill herself.”

Melanie Myers, Paige Young's friend and neighbor

In her right hand was the .38 caliber revolver she had used to blow her brains out.

The Playboy beauty wore a peaceful grin on her face – a suggestion that she had found solace in death away from the torment of life.

MailOnline spoke with a friend and neighbor of Young who discovered the astonishing scene and who talked with Young just minutes before she took her own life.

Former model Melanie Myers, who still lives in Hollywood, remembers that fateful day clearly.

‘Paige had the whole thing planned out down to the last detail,’ she said.

‘It was Palm Sunday and she came to tell me she was going to kill herself.

‘She stayed in the back house of the duplex where we lived and I was at the bathroom window.

‘She comes up to the window and calls out to me, “I want to show you something.”

‘I was like, “What are you up to now Paige?”, I couldn't be bothered with any more of her drama.

‘But she was like “No you’ve gotta come and see it”. So I go to her apartment and she gave me a guided tour of her suicide scene in her bedroom.’

Myers says that what she found still haunts her today.

Myers says Paige gave her 'a guided tour' of her suicide scene in her bedroom before she actually killed herself. What she found still haunts her today

‘It was chilling,’ she recalls. ‘There was a large American flag draped across her bed and there was a pentagram laid out on the wooden floor.’

A pentagram is the shape of a five-pointed star drawn with five straight strokes and was used in ancient times as a Christian symbol for the five wounds of Christ.

Myers added: ‘I remember her showing me around it because it was somehow important, but I didn’t know what it meant.’

But it was the bedroom wall that shocked Myers the most.

‘It was covered floor to ceiling with photos of Hugh Hefner,’ she said.

‘There were news clippings, magazine articles, everything you could think of. Written across it was something like: “Hugh Hefner is the devil”.

‘The whole wall was a shrine saying, “I hate Hugh Hefner”, the crux of her anger was against him.

‘That was the message she wanted to get across to me. She was pointing up at things, showing me around it.

‘She’d put a lot of work into this, it must have taken her days.’

Myers said that Young then calmly explained that she planned to kill herself.

She produced a gun and put it in to her mouth.

‘Paige lay back on her bed, put the gun in her mouth and said, ”this is how I’m going to do it”,’ recalls Myers.

‘It was chilling. We were friends but not the best of friends, I was always bitching about her and her dog, so I was scared.

‘She had shot herself in the head as she had told me she would.

‘There was a huge mass of blood, her whole bed was soaked red, it was shocking.

‘But she looked happy and very peaceful, she didn’t look in distress.’

Myers, 66, now a Hollywood astrologer who runs a firm called Xtrology, ran from the room in shock, pushing past the line of cops behind her.

She stayed in her own apartment until police officers came to see her to get a statement.

‘The cops had Paige’s suicide note and read some of it to me,’ she recalls.

‘The whole thing was about her anger towards the men who she believed had chewed her up and spat her out.

‘The two men who got the most attention were Hugh Hefner and the director John Huston. I know she dated Huston for a while and had just gotten back from a trip to Ireland with him.

‘She also vented against all the other Hollywood stars who had used her.

‘Paige died because of celebrities like Huston and Bill Cosby, 100%. She was used and spat out, that’s how she felt and she couldn't go on.

‘Paige was abused by everybody. These men had treated her like dirt.’

MailOnline has also found the 1974 coroner’s report on Young’s death.

The report corroborates Myers’ version of events listing the ‘cause of death’ as: ‘Gunshot wound to head’ and noting a ‘condition contributing to death’ was ‘suicide’.

The brief report, compiled by the LA county Chief Medical Examiner, states: ‘Decedent [person who has died] found in residence by friend Melanie Myers, decedent lying on bed w/38 revolver in RT hand.’

It added: ‘Possible [suicide] note at scene.’

Before now little was known of the brunette beauty who had burst on to the scene as Hugh Hefner’s Playmate of the month in November 1968.

She traveled the country doing media interviews and public appearances after appearing on the front cover of the renowned magazine.

And as her fame expanded the young model and talented painter embraced the attention that came with it.

But 40 years on very little detail of Young’s career or death can be found.

Fact files for Young state she was born in Los Angeles in June 1944 and she measured a stunning 36-24-36” at the height of her modeling career.

Memorial site findagrave.com wrongly claims that she passed away from an overdose of sleeping tablets, as does the site whosaliveandwhosdead.com.

And website allstarpics.net, which features several glamour shots of the brunette, incorrectly claims she committed ‘suicide by barbiturate overdose’.

DJ Jonnie King is among those with fond memories of Young. Now 73 King met the model when he interviewed her for his late night show on national radio station KAAY in 1969, the year after her centerfold appeared in Playboy

In an interview that went alongside her centerfold appearance in the November 1968 issue of Playboy, Young described herself as a struggling painter who liked being alone and dreamed of one day studying in Paris.

In one picture she poses topless next to an easel and some paint brushes.

She claimed friends would describe her as ‘creative, intense, ambitious, perceptive, uninhibited and natural’ and listed her main weakness as her ‘desire to be alone,’ adding, ‘It’s probably selfish’.

Painting for a living is a struggle. I have to work at it.”

Paige Young

Young was quoted as saying, ‘If people would just sit down and really talk to, instead of at, each other, I’m sure they’d be a lot happier.’

Speaking about her art career she told the magazine, ‘Painting for a living is a struggle. I have to work at it, but at least my time is my own and I’m working for myself - not for some impersonal corporation.’

Young also said she enjoyed ‘invigorating romps along the shore and peaceful strolls through the woods’ as well as gourmet cooking.

To those who knew the pretty model her death was a terrible loss.

Young’s friend and former lover Richard Sample, a fellow artist who once lived with the model in Venice, California said she was a beautiful person ‘inside and out’.

‘I remember when she died. Photographer Peter Gowland called me and asked me if I had seen Paige as he said she had vanished.

‘A couple of days later I found out she had been found dead in her apartment. I was devastated.

‘Everyone was told she had taken an overdose, but that’s obviously not the case.

‘Her death was very sad news, we were all so shocked.’

Sample said he witnessed first hand how Young was sucked in to the glitzy Hollywood lifestyle that would eventually lead to her death.

‘She would spend a lot of time with that Hefner group, I was never happy about it,’ he said.

‘I would go up to the Playboy Club to see her, she worked long hours there as a hostess.

‘I remember one night seeing her speaking closely with Bill Cosby in the club. He was all over her and was in the club all the time.

‘But that was Paige, she would speak to anyone and obviously male celebrities flocked around her. I know she dated several actors.’

She had lots of nice things men had bought her but she got in way over her head.”

Melanie Myers

For friend Melanie Myers, Young was typical of the stream of naïve, young models who flocked to LA to grace the pages of Playboy magazine and work at the glitzy club on Sunset.

The young girl was blown away by the flood of male attention that came with her new-found fame.

‘There was always plenty of men around Paige,’ said Myers. ‘She was an attractive girl and I know she was having sex for things. I didn’t like her lifestyle.

‘She had lots of nice things men had bought her but she got in way over her head.’

Myers said she often went to the Playboy Mansion with Young and says the model often entered the infamous Playboy grotto, where orgies were said to prevail.

‘If you got invited to the Playboy Mansion and you didn’t go in to the grotto, your days were numbered, you’d get kicked.

‘I went two, three times to the mansion but got kicked because I wouldn’t enter the grotto.

‘One of the nights, I was up there with Paige, she was in the grotto that night.

‘When you’re in the grotto, this dingy, cave like place, it’s a sex free-for-all.

‘There were a lot of celebrities up there, celebrity men and young pretty girls.’

Myers said she met with Young just a week before she died and they both went to the sauna together.

Melanie Myers was shown Paige's suicide note. ‘The whole thing was about her anger towards the men who she believed had chewed her up and spat her out

‘We were talking a lot and Paige was broken-hearted, she had really had it, she was telling me she was getting ready to leave, which I thought meant leave town or the country,’ recalls Myers.

‘She wasn’t saying I was going to kill myself, it was more like, “I’m done with this I’m leaving”, she was really trying to make a change in her life.

‘I encouraged her to slow down and think about things.

‘She told me about all the men who had abused her. She said she had an affair with John Huston, and that he had done things to her, abused her.

‘I remember one incident in which John hid her shoes to make her think she had gone crazy. It was only a small thing but she was really bothered by it.’

Huston is a renowned film director and screenwriter who, during a 46-year career, received 15 Oscar nominations, winning twice.

Four of his marriages ended in divorce and he died in 1987.

In another story Paige confided in Melanie that a relative of a major celebrity had made a sex tape of her.

‘She was terrified of it coming out, in that day you knew your career was going to be over once it got round.

‘For weeks all she could think about was getting hold of that tape, she thought it was going to ruin her.’

Myers says that Young had intended her suicide to hit the headlines.

She had set up the elaborate scene in her apartment so it would make great copy for the newspapers and surely cause Hollywood to sit up and listen.

But sadly, according to Myers, her death went relatively unreported.

‘I believe Paige was making a huge statement in a bid to get at the elite of Hollywood,’ she said.

‘She thought the story of her death would spark a big scandal, but it didn’t. Sadly no one cared.’

DJ Jonnie King is among those with fond memories of Young.

I always remembered what a consummate pro she was, a classy lady, a fun lady, a wonderful spirit.”

Jonnie King

Now 73 King met the model when he interviewed her for his late night show on national radio station KAAY in 1969.

Young flew into Little Rock, Arkansas, for a fashion event just months after her Playboy centerfold.

King – who shared a handful of photos of Young with MailOnline - remembers her as a ‘classy lady’ with a great sense of humor.

He said: ‘I always remembered what a consummate pro she was, a classy lady, a fun lady, a wonderful spirit and I could tell that she was much more than her body showed in the magazine – she had a lot more depth to her.

‘When I heard about her death I was genuinely devastated.’

King, a former actor who worked in Hollywood in the mid Sixties, said he saw first-hand how some women were taken advantage of by certain men in tinsel town.

‘It’s a shame how females were taken advantage of in Hollywood,’ he said.

‘There were a lot of men who thought they could get away with things – there’s so much that goes on there. When I was there in the mid sixties it was that way but then through the late sixties early seventies it got even worse.’

Former Playboy Playmate Victoria Valentino – Miss September 1963 – is another who knows all about what Young went through.

While she didn’t know Young, Valentino was one of the original Playmates to open the Playboy Club on the Sunset strip in 1964.

‘It was all about smoking pot, getting laid, having orgies, that’s what was going on,’ she said.

‘It became a haven for male celebrities. It was very glitzy, very celebrity driven, it was a very glossy situation.

‘Most of us were taking a lot of uppers just to work the long shifts in three inch heels and those horrendous costumes.

‘If we got too heavy and we didn’t look good in our bunny costume we’d get threatened with being fired.’

She said celebrities like Bill Cosby would work the ‘Playboy circuit’.

Victoria Valentino, Former Playboy Playmate

‘You’d see guys like Cosby, like Richard Pryor, like comedian Flip Wilson, singer Gary Crosby and baseball player Sandy Koufax.

‘Word would get round, ‘there was going to be a party, after you get off work go upstairs.’

‘So then a few of us would be solicited for the party after the party. That was kind of sauna, gymnastics on the big round bed, party games, I only went to one of those.’

Valentino said her Playboy boss Hugh Hefner did have strict rules, ‘look but don’t touch’.

She said Playboy bunnies would get fired for giving their phone number out to customers.

But she added: ‘There were certain key holders who we were allowed to date, they were Hef’s friends, the big celebrities who were in his intimate circle and of course Bill Cosby will have fit in to that.’

Valentino soon moved away from the Playboy lifestyle realizing it wasn’t for her.

And last week she became the 16th woman to accuse Bill Cosby of sexual assault.

Valentino, now aged 71, claims Cosby drugged her and a friend at dinner in Hollywood before driving them to a nearby apartment.

She said she pulled Cosby away from her unconscious friend as he tried to rape her - provoking the entertainer to launch an attack on her instead.

The alleged attack took place in February 1970, weeks after Valentino was introduced to Cosby by fellow Playmate Francesca Emerson.

Valentino said she never came forward at the time because she felt she had no credibility.

The claims follow similar accounts by 17 women including supermodel Janice Dickinson and Law & Order star Michelle Hurd - that Cosby's lawyers have branded 'illogical'.

Neither Mr. Cosby nor Mr. Hefner responded to MailOnline's request for comment.

Bill Cosby Breaks Silence: I Only Expect Black Media to Remain ‘Neutral’ Amid Rape Allegations
The Wrap
By Jethro Nededog

As sexual assault allegations mount against him, Bill Cosby broke his silence to make a statement on the media coverage of the accusations.

“Let me say this. I only expect the black media to uphold the standards of excellence in journalism and when you do that you have to go in with a neutral mind,” Cosby told a New York Post writer, who also writes for black media outlets, in a short phone conversation from his Massachusetts home.

Although Cosby told the reporter that he wasn’t supposed to speak with media (his attorney Marty Singer has been issuing statements on his client’s behalf), he added that his wife, Camille, remained strong amid the accusations.

“Love and the strength of womanhood,” he said of how his wife is handling the news. “Let me say it again, love and the strength of womanhood. And, you could reverse it, the strength of womanhood and love.”

More than 20 women have come forward to say that the famous actor and comedian had drugged and sexually assaulted them. And earlier this week, former model Beverly Johnson came forward with an accusation that Cosby drugged her during a proposed audition for “The Cosby Show” in the 1980s. She was able to escape the situation before any type of possible sexual attack could occur.

At least one woman has an open defamation lawsuit against Cosby for lying about drugging and sexually assaulting her.

As a result of the allegations, Cosby’s comedy project with NBC was killed and Netflix pulled a stand-up special it had planned to premiere on Thanksgiving. Additionally, dozens of performances on his current standup tour have been canceled.

Cosby previously defended his refusal to comment, telling Florida Today in November, “I know people are tired of me not saying anything, but a guy doesn’t have to answer to innuendos. People should fact check. People shouldn’t have to go through that and shouldn’t answer to innuendos.”

In the wake of the mounting allegations, attorney Singer previously released a statement saying: “The new, never-before-heard claims from women who have come forward in the past two weeks with unsubstantiated, fantastical stories about things they say occurred 30, 40, or even 50 years ago have escalated far past the point of absurdity.”

Spelman College Suspends Its Bill Cosby Endowed Professorship
Monday, Dec 15, 2014 • Updated at 2:07 PM EST

An Atlanta college is suspending its endowed professorship with Bill Cosby amid allegations by more than two dozen women that the comedian and actor sexually assaulted them.

Spelman College is the latest school to disassociate itself from Cosby.

Spelman says in a statement that the program was established in the name of Cosby and his wife, Camille, to bring positive attention and scholars to the campus.

In the statement, the college says the current situation "prevents us from continuing to meet these objectives fully" and the program will be suspended until the goals can again be met.

Cosby has denied the allegations, but he has been mostly silent about the accusations.

Meanwhile, another Cosby performance was canceled, this time in Houston. :D Organizers say there is intent to reschedule, though no new date has been announced.

Evin Cosby, 38, says Bill Cosby "is the FATHER you thought you knew" in a statement, obtained Tuesday by "Access Hollywood." She also defended her father on Facebook where she wrote "Men and Women need to stand up and say something. There are plenty of them that have experienced being accused of a major crime that they NEVER committed."

In recent weeks, a different picture of Cosby has emerged as at least 15 women accused him of drugging and sexually assaulting them. He has never been charged in connection with the accusations. His lawyers have denied many of the allegations.

Bill Cosby Won't Be Charged Over 1974 Molestation Claim
By Anthony McCartney
Tuesday, Dec 16, 2014 • Updated at 6:24 PM EST

Los Angeles prosecutors on Tuesday declined to file any charges against Bill Cosby after a woman recently claimed the comedian molested her around 1974.

The rejection of a child sexual abuse charge by prosecutors came roughly 10 days after the woman, Judy Huth, met with Los Angeles police detectives for 90 minutes.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office rejected filing a misdemeanor charge of annoying or molesting a child under the age of 18 because the statute of limitations had passed.

Days before Huth spoke to police, she accused Cosby in a civil lawsuit of forcing her to perform a sex act on him in a bedroom of the Playboy Mansion when she was 15 years old. Cosby's attorney said that Huth attempted to extort $250,000 from the comedian before she sued and that she'd attempted to sell her story to a tabloid a decade ago.

Cosby is seeking a dismissal of Huth's lawsuit, arguing it is blocked by the statute of limitations.

Huth told police that Cosby molested her and that she had no further contact with him after the incident, according to a summary of her allegations included with the prosecutor's decision.

In rejecting the case, prosecutors evaluated the charge Cosby would have faced in 1974. Prosecutors took into account legislative changes that extend the statute of limitations for certain crimes, but found no way that Cosby could be legally prosecuted.

The statute of limitations for filing a misdemeanor case is one year; the statute of limitations for a felony sex crime committed in 1974 was three years, according to the prosecutors' analysis.

An email message sent to Huth's attorney, Gloria Allred, was not immediately returned. Cosby's attorney, Marty Singer, did not immediately return a message seeking comment.

Huth is one of at least 15 women who have come forward since early November with claims that Cosby sexually assaulted them decades ago. Most of the women say they were drugged before they were assaulted. She is one of two women suing Cosby; a second woman is suing for defamation.

Cosby has never been charged in connection with any of the allegations. A 2005 lawsuit by a Pennsylvania woman was settled before it went to trial.

Since the allegations emerged, Cosby's career has unraveled, with nearly a dozen performances canceled in his ongoing standup comedy tour. NBC has said it will not move forward with a Cosby sitcom that was under development, and Netflix indefinitely postponed a special that was set to premiere last month.

Cosby's attorneys have denied some of the allegations and dismissed others as decades old and "discredited."

Camille Cosby Breaks Silence On Accusations Against Embattled Comedian
December 16, 2014 4:26 AM
By Kim Glovas

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — In light of the continuing controversy swirling around Bill Cosby, the comedian’s wife now is speaking out.

The statement issued by Camille Cosby declares her husband to be a kind, generous and funny man and a wonderful husband, father and friend. In the statement, Dr. Cosby says she first met her husband in 1963 and they were married the following year.

However, she says, a different man has been portrayed in the media recently: a man she says she doesn’t know. She says there is no vetting of her husband’s accusers, and she asks “who is the victim?”

The firestorm against Bill Cosby has been building with at least 19 women coming forward to publicly accuse him of drugging and sexually assaulting them. Three colleges have cut ties with Cosby in the fallout: his alma mater, Temple University, the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and Spelman College.

The Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus and Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy Michael Stevens also announced the Navy is revoking Bill Cosby’s title of honorary Chief Petty Officer following the numerous accusations.

Sammy Davis Jr.'s Ex-Girlfriend Claims Bill Cosby Raped Her

Another woman has come forward accusing Bill Cosby of rape. Katherine McKee, who claims to have been Sammy Davis Jr.'s "road wife," alleges the once-beloved TV icon assaulted her.

McKee, now 65, spoke to the New York Daily News about the supposed incident that took place in the early '70s in a Michigan hotel room. McKee had appeared on The Bill Cosby Show before the alleged attack, but made a name for herself as a showgirl in Las Vegas and was in Davis's nightclub act.

"Back then, I was Sammy's road wife. He had an open marriage, and we were lovers. That's how it went," she told the newspaper.

McKee said that when she was in Detroit, Cosby, now 77, invited her to a party on a boat and asked her to meet him in his room first to enjoy some local barbecue. "He was a buddy. He knew I was Sammy's girl," she recalled.

"I remember I walked in the door, and he had a robe and cap on. He took the ribs :D from my hands and just grabbed me," McKee alleged. "He spun me around, pulled my panties down, and just took it. We were still standing at the door when he attacked me… It was so fast and so shocking and so unbelievable.

"To me, there was a different personality involved," she continued. "He was a different man. It felt like a different person performing that act."

McKee claimed she went to the bathroom to compose herself and then went to the party with Cosby.

"I never said a word. I was too uncomfortable about it," she said. "Bill was so rude and cold toward me the rest of the night. I thought, 'When this boat docks, I'm out of here.' I just left."

McKee never told Davis about the alleged assault. "I didn't want to put that in Sammy's head," she told the Daily News. "I was mad at my own self for not saying, 'What the f--k?' Why didn't I stop it and get him away from me? But it happened too fast. I was absolutely flabbergasted.

"And I had the guilt. I questioned myself, 'Why did I go there? Why did I bring him those ribs? Maybe he thought that's what I wanted too?'" she said, adding, "I figured, 'If I don't think about it, it won't bother me.' Of course, with all these women surfacing now, it flushed it out."

McKee went on to become a casting agent.

"It was a rape, but it seemed so strange to call it that. We think of rape as a stranger who attacks you in a parking lot," she concluded. "I chalked it up to another powerful person in Hollywood who just felt he could take what he wanted from women."

McKee joins 20 other women, including models Janice Dickinson and Beverly Johnson, who have accused Cosby of sexual assault. He has remained silent, but a lawyer for the comedian calls such claims absurd. "The new, never-before-heard claims from women who have come forward in the past two weeks with unsubstantiated, fantastical stories about things they say occurred 30, 40, or even 50 years ago have escalated far past the point of absurdity," Marty Singer stated last week.

Despite the damage to Cosby's reputation and career — NBC and Netflix have both suspended projects with Cosby — his wife of 50 years, Camille, continues to support him.

CNN Fires Back at Bill Cosby’s Attorney for Remarkable ‘Dishonesty’
The Wrap
By Jethro Nededog
December 22, 2014 2:13 PM

CNN fires back at Bill Cosby‘s attorney’s claims that the news network isn’t conducting a fair investigation of the claims against the comedian.

“Your letter is remarkable for its dishonesty,” CNN Worldwide’s senior vice president of legal, David Vigilante, write in a letter obtained by TheWrap.

In the letter to CNN president Jeffrey Zucker, Martin Singer said that CNN decided not to use an interview with Beverly Johnson’s live-in boyfriend from 2006-2009, Mark Burk, because he didn’t corroborate her story of being drugged by the “Cosby Show” star for an upcoming special planned by the cable news network.

In addition, Singer alleged that the news organization wasn’t vetting Cosby’s accusers to the same level it vetted those who contradicted the accusers’ statements.

In response, Vigilante wrote, “Mr. Burk essentially says he has no recollection of Ms. Johnson ever mentioning any incidents to him during the time he knew her. He offers generalized statements that Ms. Johnson spoke in support of many different prominent African Americans in their business pursuits, including sometimes Mr. Cosby.”

Additionally, Vigilante said that Singer failed to mention in his previous letter that Burk had a history of “threatening and abusive behavior” towards Johnson, which he pled guilty to and was subject to a criminal protective order. Also, he sought palimony from Johnson, which was dismissed by the court.

In early December, Johnson came forward with accusations that Cosby drugged her during an audition for “The Cosby Show” in the mid-80s in an essay for Vanity Fair. The supermodel said that she was able to fight back, which caused the comedian to place her in a taxi home before any type of possible assault could occur.

Johnson is just one of more than 20 women who have come forward with accusations of being drugged and sexually assaulted by Cosby.

In the wake of the mounting allegations against the 77-year-old comedian, Singer released a statement saying, “The new, never-before-heard claims from women who have come forward in the past two weeks with unsubstantiated, fantastical stories about things they say occurred 30, 40, or even 50 years ago have escalated far past the point of absurdity.”

Since the allegations against Cosby surfaced, NBC has abandoned plans to develop a comedy that would have starred Cosby, while Netflix has postponed a comedy special featuring the comedian. Also, several shows on Cosby’s standup tour have been canceled.

Cosby hires investigators to smear rape accusers
By Stacy Brown
December 28, 2014 | 4:00am

Bill Cosby has hired a battalion of private investigators to dig up dirt on his many accusers, The Post has learned.

The comedian, fighting an onslaught of accusations that he sexually assaulted more than two dozen women over many years, is paying six-figure fees to private investigators for information that might discredit his alleged victims.

Multiple sources confirmed that Cosby, through his Hollywood attorney Martin Singer, is implementing a scorched-earth strategy in which anything negative in his accusers’ pasts is fair game.

At least one Glendale, Calif.-based firm with a half-dozen former LAPD detectives on staff is muckraking for Cosby, a source said.

“If you’re going to say to the world that I did this to you, then the world needs to know, ‘What kind of person are you? Who is this person that’s saying it?’ ” Cosby told his legal and public-relations team at a recent meeting, according to an insider who was present.

“You can’t say that I put something in your coffee, threw you in a cab and then you go on and live a high-profile life, a famous life and you never complain,” Cosby said, referring to supermodel Beverly Johnson, who claimed “America’s Dad” spiked her cappuccino during a visit to his home in the 1980s, the source said. “You mean you never reported it to the police? You never tell anyone?”

The source continued: “The strategy isn’t new and it’s quite simple: You say I’m a bad guy, well, let’s see what gives you the right to throw a stone at my house when your home is also made of glass.”

Another source, who has worked with Cosby for at least a decade, confirmed the alleged legal strategy.

“It’s sort of worked to some degree already,” that source said. “They were able to find out information about Beverly Johnson’s boyfriend who said she only had good things to say about Cosby. We found out that Beverly never told her live-in lover of several years what she’s now telling the media and we found that to be strange.”

The insider said they’ve also been able to dig up information on another accuser — Katherine McKee, an ex-girlfriend of the late Sammy Davis Jr. who said Cosby raped her in the 1970s.

The comedian’s investigators were immediately able to dig up internet posts in which McKee allegedly praised Cosby’s stand-up act and wrote glowingly of him.

They also discovered a published interview in which she said she is “used to lying.”

Singer refused to address the hiring of private detectives but said Cosby has not been able to rely on the press to be fair.

“You [the media] don’t need private investigators to find out information about the accusers. A simple Google search will obtain the information,” Singer said.
