Hunter Biden has filed a request to seal all financial records in his ongoing child support suit to spare himself public 'embarrassment' amid claims of 'significant debts', DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.

The 49-year-old filed the motion for a Protective Order of his financial records in the Arkansas Circuit Court of Independence on Wednesday, citing fears that such information would be used 'maliciously' by the media if disclosed publicly.

'The likelihood that [Biden's] private records will be used in an inappropriate or malicious manner for reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with these proceedings is exceedingly high and should not be tolerated by the court,' the filing reads.

Any such disclosures, Biden's attorneys claim, would furthermore cause their client 'undue prejudice, annoyance, embarrassment, and/or oppression.'

'Due to the extraordinary circumstances surrounding the parties involved in this matter, it is in the interest of justice and necessary for a Protective Order to be in place,' Biden's attorney Dustin McDaniel states.

The filing comes just over a week after Biden was revealed to be the father of Lunden Robert's child, having engaged in relations with the 28-year-old after meeting her at the Mpire Gentlemen's Club in Washington D.C where she worked as a stripper.

In a signed sworn statement, Biden claims he has been unable to complete the mandatory requirement because he currently lacks the information to do so.

'In an effort to demonstrate to this court my good faith, I attest that I am unemployed and have had no monthly income since May 2019,' Biden's statement reads.

The former Ukraine energy executive goes on to admit he has incurred 'significant debts', partially caused by his April 2017 divorce to Kathleen Biden, which are currently being calculated by his accountants and will be disclosed to the courts as soon as possible.

'For the aforementioned reasons, I cannot complete an Affidavit of Financial Means at the time,' he claims.

While Roberts and Biden continue to negotiate the specific terms of the order, should agreement be found, all financial information disclosed by both the defendant and plaintiff during the proceedings will remain entirely confidential.

In addition to preventing the disclosure of Biden's alleged debts, the embargo will also block the release of any information regarding Biden's business ventures, investments, expenses, taxes or personal property valuations.

Any physical copies of documents detailing finances of either party would be filed under seal and must later be returned or destroyed, and any digital documents would need to be securely stored on encrypted devices.

Failure to comply with such demands - filed in accordance with Rule 26(c) of the Arkansas Rules of Civil Procedure - would leave any guilty party liable to charges of contempt of court, which could result in hefty fines or even jail time.

Last Wednesday, Biden was finally revealed to be the father of Roberts' child following the outcome of a DNA test - something the 28-year-old had been urging Biden to take since May, following his repeated denials.

Roberts is demanding for Hunter to pay her $11k legal fees and child support for their baby, who she argues could be eligible for Secret Service protection because they're the grandson of former Vice President Joe Biden.

She is also seeking for the court to seal case records to protect the child's identity out of fear of safety for the baby and Roberts' family, citing presidential candidate Biden's political status.

In previous filings, Roberts said her child was born in August last year, confirming the child to be around 15-months-old. She referred to the infant as 'Baby Doe' and did not say whether it is a boy or girl.

Roberts' legal team argues: 'Baby Doe's paternal grandfather, Joe Biden, is seeking the nomination of the Democratic Party for President of the United States of America. He is considered by some to be the person most likely to win his party's nomination and challenge President Trump on the ballet in 2020.
'The members of the Biden family either are protected or eligible to be protected by the United States Secret Service as a direct result of Joe Biden's political status.

'Baby Doe's paternity could put the child and those close to the child at risk of harm for the same reasons the Biden family is protected by the United States Secret Service.'

Roberts filed a petition for paternity and support in May, saying Biden was the biological father of her baby, asking the court to establish paternity while seeking child support, health insurance and legal fees.

Biden had previously denied all allegations and demanded the suit be tossed.

Last month, Roberts claimed Biden had privately admitted to her that he is the father but continued to deny it publicly.

The update came as Biden continued to face intense scrutiny over his shady business dealings in Ukraine and whether or not his father Joe Biden, then vice president, used his influence to avoid his son's prosecution.

Her attorney Clinton Lancaster did not return calls from DailyMail.com. He told The Arkansas Democrat Gazette that Roberts wants to be left alone but he confirmed she is seeking money from the former vice-president's son.

'She really values her privacy. This is a parenting and child support issue between her and Mr Biden,' Lancaster said.

'She really does not want this to be a media spectacle. She does not want this to affect Joe Biden's campaign.'

'She just wants this baby to get financial support from the baby's father, Lancaster added.

This week, shocking reports emerged that Roberts - known by the stage name 'Dallas' - met Biden while working as a stripper at The Mpire Gentlemen's Club in Washington D.C.

Biden, an attorney with offices in Washington, D.C., split with Hallie earlier this year and on May 16 he married 32-year-old South African Melissa Cohen, whom he had only known for ten days. She had been living with a boyfriend up until April.

He would have been dating his sister-in-law when Roberts got pregnant in late 2017.

His business ties to various Ukrainian oligarchs have also garnered bad publicity for his father's presidential campaign.

Derkach even brought charts and images as proof during his presentation.

This is the same organization that paid Hunter Biden over $50,000-83,000 a month to sit on their board in an obvious pay-for-play maneuver.

According to Derkach former Vice President Joe Biden was personally paid $900,000 for lobbying activities from Burisma Holdings.

Derkach publicized the documents at a press conference at the Interfax-Ukraine agency Wednesday as he said the records, “describe the mechanism of getting money by Biden Sr.”

Earlier this week Rudy Giuliani met with Ukrainian officials to discuss the misuse of US funds in Ukraine and the creation of a group to fight corruption in the country.

According to a Facebook post by Ukrainian independent lawmaker Andrey Derkach Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani recently flew to Kiev to discuss the creation of a group to fight corruption. The two also invited Senate Legal Committee Lindsay Graham, member of the Intelligence Committee Devin Nunez, as well as the head of the White House’s office Mika Mulvaini to join the organization.

An independent Ukrainian lawmaker said on Thursday he had met U.S. President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer in Kiev to discuss the alleged misuse of U.S. taxpayer money by Ukrainian state bodies.

In a statement on Facebook accompanied by photos of the meeting, Andriy Derkach said the two had discussed the creation of an interparliamentary group to fight corruption.

As Trump faces an impeachment inquiry led by House of Representative Democrats into whether he abused his office by pressing Ukraine to investigate a political rival, the U.S. president and his allies have sought to reject that by saying Trump is interested in the wider issue of corruption in Ukraine.

As first reported by the New York Times, lawyer Rudy Giuliani has traveled to Budapest and Kiev this week to meet current and former Ukrainian officials for a documentary series amid the ongoing impeachment inquiry.

The meetings also include a former top prosecutor whose activities were documented in a whistleblower report that sparked the impeachment inquiry.

Giuliani could not be reached for immediate comment.

Congressional records reveal that Hunter Biden, now 49, was arrested in Stone Harbor, New Jersey, where the Biden family has often holidayed over the years, in June 1988. The arrest has not previously been reported. A new filing in an Arkansas lawsuit against Hunter Biden claims that the former Vice President’s son "is the subject of more than one (1) criminal investigation involving fraud, money laundering and a counterfeiting scheme."

Filed by private investigator Dominic Casey of D&A Investigations on behalf of Lunden Alexis Roberts - with whom Hunter fathered a child, Monday’s "Notice of Fraud and Counterfeiting and Production of Evidence" alleges that Hunter Biden and associates Devon Archer and John Kerry stepson Christopher Heinz engaged in a money laundering scheme which accumulated over $156 million between March 2014 and December 2015.

According to the document, Biden, Archer and Heinz became directors of consulting firm Rosemont Seneca Bohai, LLC in order to "conceal their family members ownership," establishing financial accounts at Morgan Stanley and China Bank, the latter of which was used in a money laundering scheme.

Biden and associates are accused of using the counterfeiting scheme "to conceal the Morgan Stanley et al Average Account Value.

The filing also says that "Family members of DEFENDANT Robert Hunter Biden, Devon Archer and Christopher Heinz are business partners of Serhiy Leshchenko and Mykola Zlochevesky in the Ukraine, and are currently under investigation for their part in the counterfeiting scheme."

Of note, Leshchenko is a former Ukrainian parliamentarian who made headlines in August 2016 for helping to leak the so-called "black ledger" that resulted in the firing of then-Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort - the supposedly 'debunked' Ukraine meddling detailed in a November, 2017 Politico article.

Notably, following an outreach to the Ukrainian embassy by Democratic operative Alexandra Chalupa, Artem Sytnyk, Ukraine’s Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and Leshchenko released the "black ledger" containing off-book payments to Manafort. In December of 2018, a Ukrainian court ruled that Sytnyk and Leshchenko "acted illegally" by releasing Manafort’s name - a conviction which was later overturned on a technicality.

Zlochevsky, meanwhile, is the owner of Burisma.

Biden’s political tenure, as Schweizer’s book extensively details, has largely remained a complicated family affair, resulting in little-known financial benefits for not just his son Hunter Biden, but for his sister Valerie.

Her role as a senior partner in the political messaging firm Slade White & Company coincided with her participation in Biden’s various political campaigns. She was only one of two executives – the other being Joe Slade White – at the firm and has remained the Executive Vice President for 15 years.

However, the lines between her role as leading her brother’s political campaigns and working at the firm blurred, as the firm “received large fees from the Biden campaigns that Valerie was running,” Profiles in Corruption reveals:

Two and a half million dollars in consulting fees flowed to her firm from Citizens for Biden and Biden For President Inc. during the 2008 presidential bid alone. Keep in mind that Joe Slade White & Company worked for Biden campaigns over eighteen years.

As a thought experiment, just imagine how the mainstream media might react if this was a Trump family member.

Personally think the reaction from Democrats and the media would be a LOT different.

Donald Trump Jr. was interviewed by Jim VandeHei at Axios on HBO recently. A clip was posted online over the weekend.

During the conversation Don Jr. was asked how much of an issue Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden will be for his father Joe in the upcoming election.

Donald Trump Jr. replied, “I think it ought to be a big part. I was an international business person before my father got into politics. That’s what we did. I’m not going to say I haven’t benefited from my father’s last name just like Hunter Biden did. I’d be foolish to say that. But I haven’t benefited from my father’s taxpayer funded office. Hunter Biden, his father becomes a VP, all of the sudden he goes over the the Ukraine and he’s making $83 grand a month. So, the media likes to do this false equivalence, ‘You’re doing this, or doing that!’ We stopped doing any new international business deals when my father won the presidency. So, you know what would be great? I’ll let you host it. You moderate a debate between Hunter Biden and myself. C’mon, let’s do it.

Why Is Hunter Biden Still Listed As Board Member Of Chinese Company He Vowed To Resign From?​

Hunter Biden is many things. Ukrainian energy expert, artist, stripper impregnator, crack aficionado. Oh, and he's still a board member of a Chinese private equity firm he said he'd resign from last October, according to Chinese business records reported by the Daily Caller.

Hunter Biden’s lawyer, George Mesires, told the Daily Caller News Foundation in early November that his client had resigned from BHR’s board, but he did not provide any evidence of his departure from the Chinese private equity firm at the time.

Chinese business records the DCNF accessed Tuesday still name Hunter Biden as a director of BHR. He also retains a 10% equity stake in BHR through his company, Skaneateles LLC, business records for the Chinese private equity firm show. -Daily Caller

In October, Biden pledged to leave the company, BHR Partners, a private equity fund backed by some of China's largest state banks, local government and the national pension fund, by the end of that month.

According to BHR's website, they manage $2.1 billion in assets. Biden, who remained an unpaid board member since its founding in 2013, obtained his equity stake in the firm in October, 2017 valued at $420,000 according to his attorney, Mesires. '

Hunter Biden had arranged for then-Vice President Joe Biden to shake hands with the CEO of BHR in December 2013, a meeting that caused some White House advisors to worry whether the younger Biden was exposing his father to criticism, The New Yorker reported.

In a statement issued Oct. 13 by his lawyer, Hunter Biden pledged to resign his position on BHR’s board “on or by October 31.” The statement did not say whether Hunter Biden intended to relinquish his ownership stake in the Chinese private equity firm. -Daily Caller

"The statement my son put out today, which I saw when he put it out — I was told it was going to be put out, I did not consult with him about what’s being put out — in fact represents the kind of man of integrity he is," said Hunter's father, Joe Biden, last October.

Yet, according to independent data provider Qixinbao, Hunter is still listed as a BHR board member as of Tuesday.

The Caller notes that Biden's continued presence on the list couldn't be due too a processing delay in China's National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System (NECIPS), as a March 24 submission to reflect the resignation of Biden's business partner, Eric Scherwin, as the company's supervisor, was reflected. Scherwin and Biden served together as loobbyists for Oldaker, Biden & Belair as far back as 2008.

Finally - guess what address is listed for Biden's firm - Skaneatles? Why, his $12,000 per month Los Angeles rental house valued at $3.8 million - which he resided in while desperately trying to avoid paying child support to the former Arkansas stripper he impregnated.

"Man of integrity," indeed.

Hunter Biden, the son of former Vice President Joe Biden, holds a stake in a Chinese surveillance company sanctioned by the U.S. for its alleged involvement in the country's systematic repression of Uighurs and other Muslim minorities, the Washington Free Beacon reported Wednesday.

The news raises further questions about the Biden family's controversial business dealings in China and casts doubt on Democratic nominee Joe Biden's ability to stand up to China on the world stage should he be elected president.

In the report, the Free Beacon noted:

Bohai Harvest RST Shanghai Equity, an investment firm that Hunter Biden owns a stake in, initially invested in Megvii, a sanctioned Chinese tech company that specializes in facial recognition software, in 2017, according to the company's website. The firm holds a nearly 2 percent stake in Megvii through two holding companies, according to a prospectus filed by Megvii as part of its application for a listing on the Hong Kong stock exchange last year.

Megvii, known for its core product, Face++, was added to a the U.S. Commerce Department blacklist last year for "human rights violations and abuses in the implementation of China's campaign of repression, mass arbitrary detention, and high-technology surveillance against Uighurs, Kazakhs, and other members of Muslim minority groups in Xinjiang."

Hunter Biden's investment in the company was confirmed as part of a new bombshell documentary on BlazeTV, titled "Riding the Dragon: Uncovering the Bidens' Chinese Secrets." The documentary unveils largely unreported details about Hunter Biden's business ventures in China — which even benefitted the Chinese military — while his father, then the vice president, led U.S. policy efforts in the country.

The film highlights a 2019 report by journalist Lee Fang at The Intercept that details Hunter Biden's lucrative investment in the company through his private equity firm, Bohai Harvest.

He's still profiting

The Free Beacon notes that though Biden has since stepped down from the board of the firm, "he still owns a 10 percent stake in the investment firm through his U.S.-based limited liability company Skaneateles LLC, according to corporate records from China's official company database."

While Biden has no legal obligation to divest from Megvii, the fact that he may be aiding the persecution of minorities in China by funding technology sanctioned for human-rights abuses is a cause for concern — especially as his father campaigns for president.

New evidence makes Hunter Biden’s ‘business’ deals reek worse than ever​

Foreign entities looking to influence American politics sometimes devise lucrative commercial deals involving a politician’s family. While the deals can, and do, ensnare politicians of all stripes, those involving the Biden family are particularly troubling: The transactions implicate US national security.

While Joe Biden served as vice president, his son Hunter received offers from foreign governments and oligarchs in areas where the he had little or no expertise. That his foreign partners included a rival state, Communist China, make these arrangements particularly brazen, even by Washington’s swampy standards.

Newly released Secret Service travel records for Hunter paint a clearer picture of how extensive these efforts were. The documents, reviewed by Judicial Watch, show that between 2009 and 2014, Hunter made 411 trips across 29 countries. While some of those trips were perhaps leisure and others related to his volunteer work for the World Food Program, many of them appear to be connected to deals that he or his associates either secured or sought with foreign governments and oligarchs.

For example, Hunter visited China five times between 2009 and 2014. Most notoriously, he traveled with his father aboard Air Force Two in December 2013 as part of an official visit with Chinese officials. Ten days after their return to Washington, Hunter and his associates partnered with the state-owned Bank of China to formally establish BHR, a new, first-of-its-kind fund aimed at making investments outside China through the newly established Shanghai Free Trade Zone.

When this deal was first revealed in Peter Schweizer’s book “Secret Empires,” Team Biden attempted to paint Hunter as a passive participant involved in the formation of BHR, arguing that “other business partners” had laid the groundwork for it in a June 2013 meeting. But the new travel records reveal that Hunter was, in fact, in Beijing in June 2013.

Hunter’s trips to China are also of interest in light of what happened with another company he co-founded and served as a board adviser, Rosemont Realty. In 2015, that firm sold a majority stake to Gemini, a Chinese state-owned company.

There is evidence of extensive foreign dealings going beyond China, including the well-known case involving the corrupt energy company Burisma in Ukraine. According to corporate-board records released as part of a criminal trial in New York, Hunter’s business partners bragged about their relationships with powerful figures around the world. One matter mentioned was a $200 million deal involving Yelena Baturina, a powerful Russian oligarch formerly married to Moscow’s mayor.

Hunter visited Moscow in February 2012, according to the travel records. The nature of his relationship with Baturina isn’t publicly known, but Kirill Zakharin, who managed investments for Baturina at the time, listed himself as an advisory board member of Rosemont Realty, Hunter’s firm. Zakharin now helps run the Russian government’s housing finance company, DOM.Rf.

But the most troubling aspect of Hunter’s relationship with foreign entities isn’t simply that a politicians’ family is getting wealthy. That’s all too common. It’s that his largest partner overseas appears to be the Chinese government, a brutal totalitarian regime fast emerging as America’s major 21st-century adversary. And some of their commercial deals have clear implications for national security.

Not long after its founding, BHR, the investment firm, became involved in a string of high-profile deals involving sensitive national-security concerns. BHR received a pre-public offering stake in a state-controlled nuclear company now under federal indictment for espionage. It invested in strategic mineral resources in Africa. And it partnered with a Chinese military contractor to purchase a Michigan-based manufacturer of vibration dampening equipment, which are used in transport systems but are considered “dual use” by the federal government, i.e., they have military applications.

During all of these deals, Hunter Biden sat on the firm’s board of directors. His close friend and business partner Devon Archer was BHR’s vice chairman and a member of the investment committee.

Joe Biden has pledged that his family will not do any new foreign deals if he is elected president. This is an echo of a promise President Trump made in December 2016. Such promises are largely meaningless. But beyond securing new deals, the current Biden commercial relationships are troubling enough.

While Hunter Biden resigned from the board of BHR under the glare of public attention, he retains his equity stake in the firm. And the full extent of his relationships through his other businesses cannot be known. And the Bidens are not talking.
