(CNN) — The FBI is investigating some of his followers. Others are already in custody and facing decades in prison if convicted of federal charges connected to the January 6 insurrection at the US Capitol. But the national leader of the extremist Oath Keepers group is carrying on as before. He might even be emboldened.

"You gotta declare this regime to be illegitimate," Stewart Rhodes said on Infowars on January 30 -- 24 days after the riot amid the violence that left five dead and delayed the certification of President Joe Biden's election win. "You gotta to declare everything that comes out of King Biden's mouth as illegitimate -- null and void from the inception because he is not a legitimate president."

Rhodes is still peddling the falsehood that the election was illegitimate. He says Biden's administration and supporters in Congress should be seen as an occupying enemy force and issues warnings about what he claims are 365 million armed patriots ready to "rise up."

"There is going to be resistance. The only question is what will be the spark," Rhodes said in a January 30 interview on Infowars, a media organization that is one of the leading purveyors of conspiracy theories in the US. "They keep pushing," he said of who he calls "leftists." "That is why it's important... Let them be the ones who draw first blood. Then you defend."

Stewart Rhodes served in the Army and seeks other veterans to bolster the ranks of the Oath Keepers.

Rhodes spoke to CNN in the days after the violent invasion of the Capitol, but did not return multiple calls and emails to comment on the future of the Oath Keepers for this story.

But his rhetoric after the insurrection in interviews and postings reviewed by CNN mirrors what he urged his followers beforehand when he encouraged them to attend the January 6 rally.

"All Patriots who can get to DC need to be in DC. Now is the time to stand. It's not too late to go. Jump on a plane! Jump in your car! Just get there," Rhodes said on his group's website on January 4.  "Stand now, or kneel forever."

New Capitol riot video shows extreme levels of coordination

Oath Keepers inside the Capitol

Rhodes' call was apparently heard and heeded by a number of people who entered the Capitol on that bloody day, including former members of the military who the Oath Keepers group actively recruits for membership

Jessica Watkins, confirmed by Rhodes as being an Oath Keeper, has emerged as one of the central figures in the government's case against the insurrectionists.

She was photographed with Rhodes -- a figure made distinctive by a black eye patch -- in November during a "Stop the Steal" and "Million Maga March" event in Washington, DC.

Rhodes, center in eye patch, marches with Oath Keepers through Washington, DC last November. Watkins is visible behind him to his right, wearing jeans and goggles on her ballistic helmet.

Watkins, who served in the Army, is charged along with two other military veterans and alleged Oath Keepers Donovan Crowl and Thomas Caldwell, with conspiracy and other charges related to the attack.

"We are in the mezzanine. We are in the main dome right now. We are rocking it," Watkins said on a walkie talkie app, according to federal prosecutors. They say she was coordinating with others.

"We're in the f**kin' Capitol, Crowl!" Watkins, rear, is said to have yelled to Crowl as Crowl shot selfie video, according to the complaint against them

Watkins and Crowl are both being held in jail and neither had an assigned lawyer at the time this story was published. Caldwell is accused of coordinating with Watkins and Crowl before, during and after the assault. His lawyer says Caldwell denies involvement with the Oath Keepers.

He also says Caldwell has worked for the FBI. An FBI spokesperson said it was "policy not to comment on personnel matters and CNN is unable to confirm Caldwell's work for the FBI. But a source with inside knowledge of how the Oath Keepers operate told CNN there are members who are in federal law enforcement, but kept off the official member database for plausible deniability.

The FBI is trying to identify a group of between 8 and 10 people wearing military tactical gear emblazoned with the Oath Keepers' paraphernalia on the Capitol Steps. One photo shows a few Oath Keepers inside the Capitol rotunda.

Rhodes, who is not facing charges in connection to January 6, says he did not enter the Capitol building. But he was seen after the assault with the men in Oath Keepers gear now being sought by the FBI.

information as they investigate the Capitol attack.

Rhodes told CNN shortly after the insurrection that he was not anti-government but that he "didn't trust the FBI right now."

Inflammatory rhetoric and offers of help

Rhodes, now 55, is an Army veteran and disbarred lawyer who incorporated the Oath Keepers in 2009, after the group rose to prominence during the first election campaign of Barack Obama.

"Our role is not to be obedient to whoever happens to be the leader. Our role is to defend the Constitution and the republic," Rhodes told CNN in 2009.

Rhodes and other militia groups began denouncing the government as tyrannical, according to Alex Friedfeld, an investigative researcher with the Anti-Defamation League.

Rhodes boasted about trying to recruit active and retired military and law enforcement personnel. The "oath" in the group's name refers to the pledge to defend the Constitution against enemies foreign and domestic, with the subtext that they were not necessarily beholden to obey orders from a government they believe is illegitimate.

Armed Oath Keepers went to Ferguson, Missouri, after the killing of Michael Brown in 2014 and again, pictured, a year later.

He found ways to insert his group into national flashpoints, positioning members as protectors of society while continuing to use charged rhetoric. Members of the Oath Keepers were in Ferguson, Missouri, in 2014 during the months-long protests in the wake of the police killing of Michael Brown. They said they were there to protect businesses. Their presence was applauded by some owners and shunned by others.  Some Oath Keepers were involved in armed participation in disputes at the Bundy ranch in Nevada, according to the ADL. Rhodes also told people to flock to Washington DC after a standoff at the Bundy ranch.

During the Obama years, the Oath Keepers were openly an anti-government in their views, according to the ADL and other groups tracking extremism.

But the rise of political outsider Donald Trump brought a change. Trump's calls to "Drain the Swamp" and his policy views were now more parallel to Rhodes' rhetoric than the campaigns of previous presidential nominees.

Donald Trump's candidacy and 2016 election win saw Rhodes and the Oath Keepers adjust their declared mission from anti-government to focus on specific issues.

In the 2016 election, Rhodes issued a "call to action" dubbed "Operation Sabot" in which he told members and supporters to look for voter fraud or intimidation at polling locations. Rhodes also frequently wrote and referred to Hillary Clinton who he vehemently opposed as "Hitlery."

Even then, he used the language of making sure the election was not "stolen from the citizens."

When Trump came to power, Rhodes moved away from criticizing the political leadership and targeted issues on which he and the then-President shared similar feelings -- anger about illegal immigration, China and those on the left, and protection for Second Amendment rights. He often spoke of deploying Oath Keepers to the US-Mexico border. He called on Oath Keepers to stand lawfully armed in front of schools after the Parkland school massacre of February 2018.

Rhodes said his group provided security for VIPs who were attending Trump rallies. And he went further, saying they would help the "average American" prepare if they were to be "called out by the president of the United States to serve as a militia of the United States to secure the schools, protect our borders, or whatever else he asks them to do to execute our laws, repel invasions and suppress insurrections" which he claimed falsely was being carried out by the left.

"We want to see a militia, basically, reestablished in this country and trained up," he added.

Preparing for a 'steal'

As Trump ramped up his bid for re-election, Rhodes and other extremist groups started to fan the flames of what could come if he lost, making frequent mention of a "civil war." As early as July 2019, Rhodes told Alex Jones on Infowars that if Trump was not re-elected "we won't accept the results" and will have "no choice but to fight."

He boasted his group had veterans who were well trained.

"If this kicks off into a civil war, a bloody one, they will instantly go to work and take it to the left," he said.

A man wearing an Oath Keepers hat yells in the hallways of the Capitol during the invasion by rioters on January 6.

After Biden won the election, Rhodes wrote an open letter to Donald Trump on December 23, urging him among many things to invoke the Insurrection Act, noting "there are millions of American patriots standing ready." The Act allows, under certain limited circumstances involved in the defense of constitutional rights, the President to deploy troops unilaterally.

"Do not forsake them. Do not leave them to have to do it all themselves. Keep your promise. Drain the Swamp. Do it now!" Rhodes wrote. "We will help you at every step of the way."

After the siege

The way words turned to action did not altogether surprise those who have been monitoring groups like the Oath Keepers for years.

"In late 2020 we saw a sharp uptick in Stewart Rhodes' violent rhetoric," Friedfeld, of the ADL told CNN. "He started to frame the election as a line in the sand where if the Democrat won, it would be the imposition of tyranny."

Rhodes was outside the Capitol on January 6. He said he did not enter the building.

Rhodes told CNN after the violence that he and his members were in Washington, DC, as part of their broad mission of protection. Watkins' boyfriend told CNN last month she traveled to the capital to "help protect some Trump VIP members" and a man in Oath Keeper garb was seen apparently guarding Trump confidant Roger Stone on the morning of January 6.
Oath Keeper joined Capitol mob after appearing with Trump ally Roger Stone

Rhodes has lost some followers after January 6. The North Carolina chapter quit Rhodes' group though it said it still supported the mission and would be rebranding, in a letter to their local sheriff that they agreed to share with CNN.

"We could see the mayhem and wanted no part of it," wrote Doug Smith, who said he was in Washington DC that day but did not enter the Capitol.

"The men of North Carolina believe that the National leadership (of Oath Keepers) could have stopped this and did nothing. The men and myself included can no longer be affiliated with Oath Keepers after this sad event in our nation's history."

But there are many other chapters and members of the group. Accused leaders like Watkins are being held in jail or hunted down for their alleged involvement in the January 6 insurrection. And Rhodes is still preaching and issuing orders to anyone willing to listen.

Another Democrat Narrative Goes up in Flames – Ex-Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund Says He Had Intel Antifa Was Part of the January 6 Attack (VIDEO)

Link: http://www.yourdestinationnow.com/2021/02/another-democrat-narrative-goes-up-in.html

February 24, 2021

Ex-Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund dropped a bombshell on lawmakers on Tuesday in his opening statement during a hearing before the Senate Rules and Homeland Security committees.

Mr. Sund testified that according to intelligence gathered by law enforcement groups, members of the Proud Boys, white supremacist groups, ANTIFA and other extremist groups were expected to participate on January 6 and that they may be inclined to become violent.

The Democrat-media complex has totally ignored eyewitness accounts detailing how black bloc Antifa terrorists infiltrated the peaceful MAGA demonstrations.

According to a former FBI agent on the ground at the US Capitol, at least one bus load of Antifa goons infiltrated the Trump rally as part of a false flag operation.

Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) on Tuesday entered into the record explosive testimony of eyewitness accounts from Michael Waller detailing how he saw “agents-provocateurs” at the Capitol.

Michael Waller, a senior analyst for strategy at the Center for Security Policy specializing in propaganda, political warfare, psychological warfare, and subversion, said he was at the Capitol on January 6 and witnessed:

•Plainclothes militants. Militant, aggressive men in Donald Trump and MAGA gear at a front police line at the base of the temporary presidential inaugural platform;

•Agents-provocateurs. Scattered groups of men exhorting the marchers to gather closely and tightly toward the center of the outside of the Capitol building and prevent them from leaving;

•Fake Trump protesters. A few young men wearing Trump or MAGA hats backwards and who did not fit in with the rest of the crowd in terms of their actions and demeanor, whom I presumed to be Antifa or other leftist agitators; and

•Disciplined, uniformed column of attackers. A column of organized, disciplined men, wearing similar but not identical camouflage uniforms and black gear, some with helmets and GoPro cameras or wearing subdued Punisher skull patches.

Well known Antifa-Insurgence leader John Earl Sullivan was arrested in Utah after the US Capitol riots.

Antifa protester John Sullivan was caught on video posing as a Trump supporter during the rioting at the US Capitol on January 6th.

Despite all of the reports indicating that Antifa played a role in the January 6 riot, the media continues to blame President Trump and his supporters.

Steven Sund’s testimony on Tuesday poked more holes in the Democrat-media complex’s narrative that the riot was all Trump’s fault.

WATCH: [ck site link, above, top]

Steven Sund also said that he did not get the FBI report warning of violence on January 6.

The FBI issued a report January 5, one day before the riot at the Capitol dome building that detailed calls for violence.

Mr. Sund said his department had received the FBI report, but it never reached his office.

The question is, what did Pelosi know before she launched Trump’s second impeachment based on the lie that he ‘incited an insurrection’?

It turns out the “armed insurrection” at the Capitol building on January 6 didn’t involve any firearms.

The Democrats, their dishonest Big Media and Big Tech, and their ‘fact checkers’ claim the intrusion into the Capitol on January 6th was an ‘armed insurrection.’

Senator Ron Johnson on Wednesday asked top FBI counterterrorism official Jill Sanborn if law enforcement confiscated any firearms on January 6 during a Senate committee hearing on the Capitol riot.

Ms. Sanborn said that no firearms were confiscated at the so-called “insurrection.”

“How many firearms were confiscated in the Capitol or on Capitol grounds that day?” Ron Johnson asked Sanborn.

“To my knowledge we have not recovered any on that day from any other arrests at the scene at this point,” Sanford said.

Ron Johnson pressed for more information regarding firearms: “Nobody has been charged with an actual firearm weapon in the Capitol or on Capitol grounds?”

Sanford replied, “Correct.”

“How many shots were fired?” Johnson asked.

“I believe the only shots fired were the ones that resulted in the death of the one lady [Ashli Babbitt],” Sanford said.

There you have it. Another Democrat-media complex narrative goes up in flames.

The Capitol Hill Riot Was Pelosi’s Fault, Not Trump’s

by Daniel Greenfield | Front Page Mag

Link: https://www.infowars.com/posts/the-capitol-hill-riot-was-pelosis-fault-not-trumps/

Why couldn’t Congress’ private police force of 2,000 protect it from a mob of hundreds?

The Capitol Police have over 2,000 sworn officers. A police force dedicated to protecting Capitol Hill has more personnel in its service than the police forces of most of the country.

Congress’ private cops are the 19th largest police force in the country. It’s a larger force than the police forces of Atlanta, Baltimore, Denver, or Milwaukee with a massive $460 million budget.

It’s the only legislative federal force in the country that is answerable exclusively to Congress.

While Democrats advocated defunding the police, their private police force budget shot up from $375 million in 2016 to $460 million in 2020. After the Capitol Hill riot, expect it to go higher.

Much higher.

The media claimed that the Capitol Police were overwhelmed by a massive riot. Except that the number of violent rioters was, at most, in the hundreds, while the Capitol Police could deploy a force the size that protects entire cities to protect a few buildings from hundreds of people.

Media narratives have blamed President Trump for not calling out the National Guard, but the military should not have been needed to supplement a police force as big as those of Atlanta or Denver, but was not tied down with an entire city to police, and really only had one simple job.

And it catastrophically failed at that one job.

When Black Lives Matter rioters, incited by Democrats and the media, besieged the White House, 60 members of the Secret Service’s Uniformed Division were injured holding the line while President Trump and his family were taken to a bunker. 11 members of the Service were hospitalized due to the violence of the BLM riot that Democrats falsely claimed was peaceful.

Much of the heavy lifting was done by the Park Police, another one of the innumerable mini police forces swarming the city, which has only 641 sworn officers spread across three cities.

65 Park Police officers were wounded in the BLM riots and 11 had to be hospitalized.

This roughly matches the 60 Capitol Police and 58 D.C. cops injured in the Capitol riot.

Attorney General Barr listed a figure of 150 officers injured in total in the BLM riots in D.C.

That puts the lie to the false Democrat claim that those riots were peaceful and these weren’t.

The only objective metric for measuring what is and isn’t a riot is the amount of violence involved. Both sets of riots targeted a center of government, the White House for BLM and Capitol Hill for the alt-right, and the BLM riot was objectively more destructive.

In the Capitol riot, Brian Sicknick, a pro-Trump veteran, was struck on the head, suffered a brain clot and died. During the BLM riots, law enforcement officers suffered concussions. None died, but that’s a matter of luck, not restraint on the part of BLM thugs using clubs and bricks.

Despite the heavy toll on the injured officers from the Secret Service and the Park Police, Democrats and the media falsely accused both forces of violently assaulting “peaceful protesters”. Instead of condemning the violence which included bricks, bottles, fireworks, and bodily fluids being thrown at law enforcement officers, Democrats formed a lynch mob.

Rep. Grijalva demanded that White House fencing come down and that the head of the Park Police come down to testify. The Park Police were attacked for using tear gas. The Washington Post assailed a Secret Service officer for using mace against a BLM rioter attacking him.

Unlike the Capitol Police, the Park Police and the Secret Service did not kill a single BLM rioter despite provocations and bodily injuries. The same can’t be said of Congress’ keystone cops who managed to kill an unarmed woman who was not physically assaulting them at the time.

During the BLM riots, Democrats and their media considered mace against a violent assailant an overreaction, but think that shooting an unarmed woman who was not attacking anyone to be an underreaction proving that it’s not about policing, but that leftist lives matters, others don’t.

But the tactical question is why the Capitol rioters got into Congress and the BLM rioters never made it inside the White House. Intruders have gotten into the White House before, but the Secret Service and the Park Police kept the violent racist mob from getting through.

The White House has better security, but the question is why is Congress’ security so bad?

It’s not for a lack of money or manpower. The Capitol Police force is ridiculously huge. It has a massive budget. But it also has virtually no oversight except from a corrupt congressional system. The last time anyone paid attention to the Capitol Police, they were bungling the Awan investigation under pressure from Congressional Democrats. But that’s what the ‘Caps’ are for.

The Capitol Police are a patronage force. Things have improved since the days when joining meant knowing the right people. But not by that much. The level of professionalism of the various D.C. forces is fairly low, and the Capitol Police are notorious as the worst of them.

There’s very little oversight of the Capitol Police whose leadership is notorious for ignoring information requests and complaints. The massive force answers to Congress and it acts less like a police force than as bodyguards for a fairly corrupt organization with no accountability.

But that’s what it is.

When the FBI raided Rep. William ‘Cold Cash’ Jefferson’s office, there was outrage and Rep. Nancy Pelosi signed on to a statement demanding that the feds return the papers that they had “unconstitutionally” seized from the corrupt Dem’s office. The issue at stake was the FBI, which answers to the executive, was not supposed to operate on Capitol Hill and on Pelosi’s turf.

“Not anyone here is above the law,” Pelosi argued. But that was exactly the point. Congress had its own private police and the FBI was not supposed to set foot in her domain.

Now, Pelosi is complaining that the executive didn’t dispatch a force quickly enough to her aid.

President Trump, despite false claims by Democrats and the media, did not tell anyone to attack Congress. Like Pelosi and other Democrats, he supported political protests. The violence began while President Trump was giving his speech and had nothing to do with his words.

It was up to Congress and its private police force to secure the premises and stop the violence.

The Capitol Police failed badly where the Secret Service and the Park Police had prevailed against BLM’s attack on the White House. They failed in ways that are baffling and inexcusable.

The most obvious problem is that some Capitol Police appeared to allow many of the protesters inside. Why this happened is a subject of heated debate, but the range of possibilities include an environment where leftist protesters storming and occupying Capitol Hill had been normalized, sympathy by the police, provocation by some higher authority, or miscommunication. All of this reflects badly on Congress and on its private police force.

The Capitol Police had the manpower and the budget to secure Congress. And there’s no excuse why Congress could not and should not have been secured. There was no brilliant strategy here. And the Capitol Police, despite being praised as heroes, behaved ineptly and showed no coherent plan, some trying to deescalate, while others lashed out violently.

These mixed messages may have been due to the Black Lives Matter effect, a successor to the Ferguson Effect, which left many police officers afraid to resist criminals for fear of losing their jobs and even going to jail. When the White House came under attack, Attorney General Barr and national security officials rallied law enforcement personnel to make a strong stand.

When Capitol Hill came under siege, there was no congressional leadership to respond to it. Instead of taking command of the situation, House members panicked, squabbled, and let their private police flail with the situation while they hid away. The sharp contrast between President Trump and Attorney General Barr in Lafayette Square, and members of Congress waiting for their police force to protect them isn’t just ideological. It’s a basic question of crisis leadership.

Democrats and the media falsely claimed that what happened in Lafayette Square was a photo op for which peaceful protesters were gassed, but it’s how you show leadership in a riot.

Congress waited for their private police force to protect them whose members knew that whatever happened, they would be blamed for overreacting or underreacting to the protest by a leadership that doesn’t understand what they do and is sacrificing them to cover its asses.

President Trump, AG Barr, and administration officials gave clear orders to federal law enforcement to stand their ground. Administration officials then protected officers from the fallout as the same Democrats howling for the heads of Capitol rioters were howling for the heads of Secret Service and Park Police leaders who were holding back the hordes of racist BLM rioters.

Capitol Police members had no sense that Pelosi or that members of Congress were behind them. They were operating in a BLMized law enforcement environment in which violent attacks against police and timid responses to them by the authorities had been normalized. They had no clear orders, they were divided by their own political sympathies and by internal politics.

The Capitol riot should have been just another stressful encounter that would have been contained at the expense of injuring some officers and rioters without breaching Congress.

The media has constructed a false narrative in which the White House overreacted to BLM and underreacted to the Capitol riot. But it wasn’t the White House’s job to protect Congress. That’s why Congress has a force of 2,300 people and a $460 million budget with just one job to do.

The question of why it failed at that job ought to be directed to Pelosi and congressional leaders.

The Capitol riot is Pelosi’s disaster and she’s making the most of it by blaming it on everyone else. Her private police force had the resources and the people to keep out the Visigoths, never mind a few hundred people, and instead turned what should have been a riot into a disaster.

Whether that was intentional or not is a question that pits Hanlon’s Razor “never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity” against Washington D.C. cynicism.

But there is little question that Speaker Pelosi and the Democrats have massively profited from their mismanagement, initiating proposals to impeach President Trump, expel legislators, purge Republicans from social media platforms, and to cut off corporate donations to them.

While the media propaganda blares non-stop, heads are quietly rolling at the Capitol Police, but don’t expect that to do anything except lower morale and water down the force even further.

Meanwhile the party of police defunding will see to it that the Capitol Police budget tops those of most major cities, that its ranks continue to swell, and that it remains as incompetent as ever.

And then the next disaster in Congress will also be blamed on someone who isn’t in Congress.

Why couldn’t Congress’ private police force of 2,000 protect it from a mob of hundreds? Don’t ask Congress. Just pay the $460 million, cry over the headlines, and keep your mouth shut.

GLENN GREENWALD: As the Insurrection Narrative Crumbles, Democrats Cling to it More Desperately Than Ever: If the threat of “armed insurrectionists” and “domestic terrorists” is as great as some claim, why do they have to keep lying and peddling crude media fictions about it?

March 6, 2021 by IWB
via greenwald:

Link: https://www.investmentwatchblog.com...med-insurrectionists-and-domestic-terrorists/

Twice in the last six weeks, warnings were issued about imminent, grave threats to public safety posed by the same type of right-wing extremists who rioted at the Capitol on January 6. And both times, these warnings ushered in severe security measures only to prove utterly baseless.

First we had the hysteria over the violence we were told was likely to occur at numerous state capitols on Inauguration Day. “Law enforcement and state officials are on high alert for potentially violent protests in the lead-up to Inauguration Day, with some state capitols boarded up and others temporarily closed ahead of Wednesday’s ceremony,” announced CNN. In an even scarier formulation, NPR intoned that “the FBI is warning of protests and potential violence in all 50 state capitals ahead of President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration.”

The resulting clampdowns were as extreme as the dire warnings. Washington, D.C. was militarized more than at any point since the 9/11 attack. The military was highly visible on the streets. And, described The Washington Post, “state capitols nationwide locked down, with windows boarded up, National Guard troops deployed and states of emergency preemptively declared as authorities braced for potential violence Sunday mimicking the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol by a mob of pro-Trump rioters.” All of this, said the paper, “reflected the anxious state of the country ahead of planned demonstrations.”

But none of that happened — not even close. The Washington Post acknowledged three weeks later:

Despite warnings of violent plots around Inauguration Day, only a smattering of right-wing protesters appeared at the nation’s statehouses. In Tallahassee, just five armed men wearing the garb of the boogaloo movement — a loose collection of anti-government groups that say the country is heading for civil war — showed up. Police and National Guard personnel mostly ignored them.

It was a made up line, for domestic political purposes. If there were a real insurrection, they’d deny it.

Plus: “(Two FBI operatives have since anonymously leaked that it is looking at a ‘suspect’ who may have engaged with Sicknick in a way that ultimately contributed to his death. But nothing still is known; Sicknick’s mother claims he died of a stroke while his brother says it was from pepper spray; and all of this is worlds away from the endlessly repeated media claim that a bloodthirsty pro-Trump mob savagely bashed his head in with a fire extinguisher.)”

Also:

And predictably — just as happened during the Cold War, Oklahoma City, & 9/11 attack — FBI is now using the threat of "insurrectionists" and "domestic terrorism" to justify greater surveillance powers. That's why exaggerating the threat is so dangerous.t.co/I7Zcvik6Nm

So I figure the “intelligence” about new “uprisings” on January 20, March 4, March 20, etc. is just people spreading rumors to make the authorities look stupid. If so, it’s working!

Key ‘Oath Keeper’ granted pretrial release as prosecutors find no evidence of wide-ranging conspiracy to storm Capitol

by RT
March 13th 2021, 5:49 am

Link: https://www.infowars.com/posts/key-...-of-wide-ranging-conspiracy-to-storm-capitol/

A US judge has ordered the release of retired Navy officer Kenneth Caldwell, accused of being part of an Oath Keepers militia plot to invade the Capitol, pending trial, as no evidence to back the conspiracy claims has turned up.

Judge Amit Mehta said that Caldwell did not enter the Capitol building, nor was there direct evidence of him trying to force his way in.

“There are no text messages, communications by him, that speak to entering a building or trying to enter the building. And ultimately, he did not enter the building,” Mehta said, as he ordered the 65-year-old’s release from jail. Because he did not breach the Capitol grounds, he was “differently situated” from his alleged co-conspirators, the judge said, ordering Caldwell to remain at his Berryville, Virginia home under GPS monitoring.

This conspiracy case is so far the biggest in the investigation into the January 6 riot, in which a crowd of Trump supporters breached the Capitol building and disrupted the counting of electoral votes cast in the presidential election. The conspiracy charges against Caldwell were among the first to be brought in connection with the events in Washington, DC.

At Friday’s hearing, Caldwell’s attorney, David Fischer, pointed out that the prosecutors still have to provide evidence that the alleged sinister plan to infiltrate the Capitol actually existed.

While admitting that no evidence was unearthed to support the conspiracy charges, federal prosecutor Kathryn Rakoczy insisted that the militia was prepared to resort to violence.

“The bottom line from the government’s perspective is they were prepared to do violence in whatever ways they needed to,” Rakoczy, who was part of the Mueller probe into the debunked theory that former President Donald Trump colluded with Russia, said, according to Politico.

Owen Shroyer guest hosts The Alex Jones Show to break down the double standard as the militant wing of the Democratic party sets fire to a federal courthouse with people inside, and no calls for the national guard or barricades have been made by the same leftist elites crying ‘insurrection’ about the right.

Nevertheless, she admitted that prosecutors “do not have, at this point, someone explicitly saying, ‘Our plan is to storm the Capitol to stop certification,’” referring to nine alleged Oath Keepers who had been charged in February with a wide-ranging conspiracy “to commit an offense against the United States, namely, to corruptly obstruct, influence, and impede an official proceeding” as well as entering the Capitol to that effect.

Caldwell was initially described by the media as the leader of the militia. His attorney later argued that Caldwell had never been a member of the group, and although he was involved in the Oath Keepers’ preparations for January 6, the plan envisaged fending off possible left-wing violence, not storming the Capitol, his defense said.

In some regards, the prosecution of Caldwell seems to be developing along the same lines as other cases widely reported on by the US media as sinister plots. In one case, a man named Eric Munchel was photographed carrying zip-ties inside the Senate chamber, so many commentators assumed he came prepared to take hostages. It later emerged that he picked up the plastic restraints from a table inside the Capitol building, where they were left by the police.

The ‘Insurrection’ Probe Is Falling Apart

Munchel, the media quickly concluded, brought the flex cuffs to arrest lawmakers attempting to certify the results of the 2020 presidential election. The woman photographed with him later was identified as his mother, Lisa Eisenhart.

The top federal prosecutor who handled the first two months of the Justice Department’s Capitol breach probe recently bragged that Munchel was one of the first protestors targeted in the agency’s unprecedented 50-state manhunt for alleged “insurrectionists.”

Former U.S. Attorney Michael Sherwin told “60 Minutes” that he authorized the arrest of more than 100 people prior to January 20 in a display of “shock and awe” to intimidate Americans who planned to protest Joe Biden’s inauguration; he specifically referred to the detention of the “the zip tie guy” as a way to send a message. “We wanted to take out those individuals that essentially were thumbing their noses at the public for what they did.”

Munchel and Eisenhart, once they realized they were under investigation, turned themselves in to law enforcement a few days after the Capitol protest. Government prosecutors successfully fought to keep both behind bars pending their trial although they committed no violent crime and had remained in the building for less than 15 minutes; on January 24, the D.C. federal judge presiding over the Capitol investigation ordered both defendants transported from Tennessee to a Washington jail to await their day in court.

Prosecutors darkly warned in late January the two Americans could be the first Capitol defendants to be charged with sedition, a crime almost never applied to U.S. citizens.

A Major Blow to the Prosecution

And that’s when the case against Munchel and Eisenhart began to fall apart. In fact, several cases now face an uphill battle as the Justice Department’s abusive overreach related to January 6 is exposed in federal court.

In a major blow to both prosecutors and judges who’ve signed off on dozens of orders to deny bail to Capitol breach defendants—including nonviolent offenders such as Munchel and Eisenhart—the D.C. Court of Appeals on March 26 asked a lower court to “consider anew the government’s motion for detention” for the pair.

The three judges carefully deconstructed the charges against mother and son, noting neither has been accused of violence such as assault or destruction of property. One judge argued the detention order should be reversed, not revisited. In his partial dissent, Judge Gregory Katsas took aim at the Justice Department’s exaggerated case.

“While there, they attempted neither violence nor vandalism,” Katsas wrote. “They searched for no Members of Congress, and they harassed no police officers. They found plastic handcuffs by chance, but never threatened to use them. Munchel’s threat to ‘break’ anyone who vandalized the Capitol was intended to prevent destruction and was addressed to no one in particular.”

It’s a legal stretch to get from amped-up protestor to seditionist—and it looks like the Justice Department has a long way to go.

Katsas detailed how both defendants fully cooperated with authorities, both were employed at the time of surrender—Eisenhart has been a nurse for 30 years—and neither has a criminal record with the exception of Munchel’s two marijuana possession charges from several years ago.

The only felony the government could come up with to charge Munchel and Eisenhart—who are being charged together—is “obstruction of an official proceeding,” which is an enhancement count filed against defendants charged with misdemeanors.

After the court’s spanking, the government withdrew its detention order on March 29: Munchel and Eisenhart will now live under the same home detention rules a Tennessee judge ordered more than two months ago and that the government successfully appealed.

The appellate court order had a quick impact on other cases. That same day, another federal judge, citing the court’s opinion, challenged the Justice Department’s pre-trial detention motions for two members of the Oath Keepers, a group facing conspiracy charges for its role in the Capitol breach.

U.S. District Court Judge Amit Mehta ordered the release of Donovan Crowl and Connie Meggs. (On March 24, Mehta released Laura Steele, a defendant in the Oath Keepers case, and on March 12, Mehta released an ailing 66-year-old veteran prosecutors accused, without evidence, of helping Oath Keepers plan to storm the building.) The government then withdrew its detention request for another Oath Keeper, Graydon Young, on March 29.

No Sedition Charges So Far

Despite heavy-handed threats and braggadocio about pending “sedition” cases, nearly three months later, the Justice Department has nothing even close to this boast—and their mouthpieces in the media are getting nervous.

“But as the sprawling investigation has unfolded, prosecutors have sometimes struggled to maintain a consistent narrative and had to walk back statements made in court hearings or in papers,” the Associated Press warned this week. “It has created an opening for defense attorneys to try to sow doubt in the case.”

Prosecutors had to walk back early claims of assasination plots against elected officials. The Justice Department is having a hard time building its conspiracy case against ten Oath Keepers. More than 300 people have been arrested but no one yet faces a charge of sedition.

Politico reporters just dropped the bad news that most protestors won’t face jail time.

“Although prosecutors have loaded up their charging documents with language about the existential threat of the insurrection to the republic, the actions of many of the individual rioters often boiled down to trespassing,” Josh Gerstein and Kyle Cheney admitted in an article published Tuesday, an observation American Greatness has been pointing out for weeks. “Justice Department prosecutors sent expectations sky-high in early statements and court filings, describing elaborate plots to murder lawmakers—descriptions prosecutors have tempered as new details emerged.”

The government also will have to contend with the long-term legal consequences of continuing to pursue obstruction charges that will criminalize future political dissent. As I explained in this column, the vague charge, initially aimed at white-collar criminals not political protesters, has been applied to more than 130 defendants so far.

But any conviction would codify its use against anyone who disrupts a government meeting or ceremony. “While violent assaults in the Capitol are rare, protests and acts of civil disobedience—such as disrupting congressional hearings or even House and Senate floor sessions, are more common,” Politico admitted. “That means prosecutors and judges will have to weigh how much more punishment a Trump supporter who invaded the Capitol during the Electoral College count deserves than, say, an anti-war protester chanting at a CIA confirmation hearing or a gun-control advocate shouting in the middle of the State of the Union address.”

No kidding.

Weaponizing January 6

The Capitol probe investigation has been a vengeful crusade from the start. Democrats, the news media, and many Republicans quickly jumped on early narratives that were later revealed to be untrue, such as tales about an “armed insurrection” or how a Capitol police officer died.

The thoughtcrime of doubting the legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election has been cited in charging documents and during detention hearings, another clear indication the probe is about retribution and silencing rather than justice. Homeschoolers, gun owners, and veterans have been mocked and persecuted by their own government.

Top Biden Administration officials are weaponizing the events of January 6 in an attempt to depict all Trump supporters as “domestic violent extremists.”

But although these Americans have been tried and convicted as “insurrectionists” in the news media, the government has created, by their own overheated hyperbole, a nearly insurmountable obstacle to proving their initial accusations in court. It’s a legal stretch to get from amped-up protestor to seditionist—and it looks like the Justice Department has a long way to go.

DOJ quietly acknowledges there was no sedition at the US Capitol

Despite all the outrage and the threats of charging “insurrectionists” with sedition—the act of attempting to overthrow the government—proving them based upon actual facts and evidence seems to be increasingly unlikely. For example, Michael Cantrell reported on America’s Sheriff that:

“Many of the trials for individuals involved in the Capitol riot of January 6th have started and much to the chagrin of liberals everywhere, the charges these folks are facing aren’t quite as serious as we were all led to believe they would be. In fact, the Justice Department has now said that the body of evidence in these cases is not as damaging as it was previously thought to be.”

Further, developing reports indicate that none of the 400 people who have been arrested for their involvement in the riot have been charged with sedition, according to the Post Millennial. The most serious charge that has been brought against a defendant in this incident has been assault. To be clear, there is quite a leap between the charges of assault—and the charges of conspiring to overthrow the government.

Even more perplexing, while others have been charged with conspiracy and obstruction, there’s a rather inconvenient fact that prosecutors must reckon. As the Post Millenial explained: “Others have been charged with conspiracy, and obstruction. While five people lost their lives during the riot, only one was killed with a weapon, and that was Ashli Babbit, who died after being shot by an unnamed Capitol Police Officer.”

The secrecy surrounding the death investigations of Sicknick and Babbit do nothing to bolster confidence in “transparency.” The additional three victims suffered medical emergencies, yet transparency is still lacking in these cases as well.

Prosecutors assigned to the cases have been feverishly working to prove a mass conspiracy. However, “less than 25 people are facing that charge, and ten people are said to have ties to the Oath Keeper militia movement,” the report continued.

Arizona prosecutors who detained Jacob Chansley (you know, the guy who wore the “horns”) had originally stated that they had a lot of strong evidence to support the charge of sedition and/or mass conspiracy. And the evidence included Chansely’s “own words and actions,” which prosecutors said indicated that the “intent of Capitol rioters was to capture and assassinate elected officials.” However, Cantrell asserts that no proof of this was ever submitted.

Further, the Post Millenial report explained two other key points: “Another man, Ethan Nordean, was accused of sending ‘encrypted communications’ to the Proud Boys, but this, too, was dropped when it turned out that his phone battery died and he was unable to use it. The judge in Nordean’s case said there was a ‘dearth of evidence’ and declined to jail him. Prosecutors are trying again, however.” Once again, there is a stark contrast between the threatened charges that were publicly declared, and the actual charges in the court cases.

And in perhaps the most telling aspect, the report also cited Michael Ferrara, an attorney with Kaplan Hecker & Fink, LLP, and former federal prosecutor, who explained that “if it becomes clear that prosecutors overreached, engaged in hyperbole, of simply misunderstood social media and text messages, it would be no ‘small error.’”

Ferrara also stated that the zeal of the prosecutors could “color the way the judge sees the case going forward,” which could have a huge impact on the outcome for many of the defendants.

Ferrara isn’t the only one concerned. During a hearing in the case against the Oath Keepers, U.S. District Court Judge Amit Mehta said that remarks made by DOJ officials “threatened to taint the prosecution of individuals accused of taking part in the assault,” as the Washington Examiner reported.

Indeed, despite the actual facts and (lack of) evidence of sedition, apparently prosecutors and the media are putting in a lot of effort to steer the outcome of these cases.

Fortunately, thanks to their eagerness, it’s almost impossible to ignore the hyperbole, the overzealousness, and the hypocrisy of politicians, prosecutors, and the media. And no matter the outcome of these cases, they stand in even starker contrast to the far less aggressive prosecution of violence and rioting that have taken place in the past year.

As many law enforcement officers continue to wonder: where was the aggressive prosecution for the thousands whose rioting caused numerous deaths—including the deaths and injuries of police officers—and billions in property damage that ravaged US cities in the past four years?

If these cases were pursued just as aggressively—and with just as much hyped-up media reporting—life for many Americans would be a whole lot safer.

Bombshell Report Reveals Capitol Police Were Ordered To ‘Stand Down’ On Jan 6 — Who Made The Call?

by A.M. Smith about 10 hours ago

Link: https://en-volve.com/2021/04/15/bom...l-police-were-ordered-to-stand-down-on-jan-6/

The New York Times has just confirmed what many of us have already figured out.

In a new report, the New York Times stated that Capitol Police were told to ‘stand down’ during the January 6th riot at the Capitol.

According to a 104-page document obtained by investigators, leaders were warned of the ‘pre-planned violence but instead of being pro-active officers were just told to stand down and allow the riot to happen. And the question remains, who made the call?

The report also reveals that congress was even warned about the pre-planned attack according to now-resigned Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund.

“Breaking News: The Capitol Police were told not to use their most aggressive tactics ahead of the Jan. 6 riot despite warnings of violence in which "Congress itself is the target," according to a new report by an internal investigator. https://t.co/ox9MgP5byd

Do you remember all those videos, that showed police officers just simply letting people inside of the Capitol? I do, and now we know that the events that occurred on January 6th were pre-planned to demonize Trump supporters.

Here’s a portion of the New York Times report:

“The Capitol Police had clearer advance warnings about the Jan. 6 attack than were previously known, including the potential for violence in which “Congress itself is the target.” But officers were instructed by their leaders not to use their most aggressive tactics to hold off the mob, according to a scathing new report by the agency’s internal investigator.

In a 104-page document, the inspector general, Michael A. Bolton, criticized the way the Capitol Police prepared for and responded to the mob violence on Jan. 6. The report was reviewed by The New York Times and will be the subject of a Capitol Hill hearing on Thursday.

Mr. Bolton found that the agency’s leaders failed to adequately prepare despite explicit warnings that pro-Trump extremists posed a threat to law enforcement and civilians and that the police used defective protective equipment. He also found that the leaders ordered their Civil Disturbance Unit to refrain from using its most powerful crowd-control tools — like stun grenades — to put down the onslaught.

The report offers the most devastating account to date of the lapses and miscalculations around the most violent attack on the Capitol in two centuries.

“Little by little the real truth finally rises;

The New York Times has finally confirmed what many political observers had been saying about the Capitol riots: It was pre-planned, the Capitol Police knew it was coming, and authorities effectively gave a

A couple of months ago the mainstream media thought the idea that the Capitol Police let protestors into the Capitol Building was a “conspiracy theory” but now they’re reporting it as truth 3 months too late.

WHOA: Blockbuster new video shows Jan. 6 rioters were given OK to enter Capitol by police

[vid at site link, above]

There was always something that did not ‘feel right’ about the Democratic narratives we were being given regarding the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol Building.

For one thing, despite being attacked by leftist hooligans from Antifa, Black Lives Matter and paid agitators throughout President Donald Trump’s term in office, his supporters never really retaliated.

Like, ever.

They certainly did not show up at Democratic presidential campaign events to shout down and beat up on supporters of those candidates, though Trump’s campaign events and his supporters were regularly targeted and assaulted.

Seeing his ‘supporters’ fighting with Capitol Police and rioting on Capitol Hill, the seat of our government, just didn’t look or feel right.

And the more we learn about what happened that day, the more it becomes obvious that what occurred earlier this year during Trump’s final planned address was a massive false flag operation aimed at tarring all of his supporters as ‘right-wing threats to democracy’ and ‘insurrectionists’ for the purpose of initiating legal (and illegal) actions against us.

American Greatness reports:

Newly-obtained video shows United States Capitol Police officers speaking with several January 6 protestors—including Jacob Chansley, the so-called “Q shaman”—inside the Capitol that afternoon.

One officer, identified in the video and confirmed by charging documents as Officer Keith Robishaw, appears to tell Chansely’s group they won’t stop them from entering the building. “We’re not against . . . you need to show us . . . no attacking, no assault, remain calm,” Robishaw warns. Chansley and another protestor instruct the crowd to act peacefully. “This has to be peaceful,” Chansley yelled. “We have the right to peacefully assemble.”

As you can see clearly in the video, Chansely instructs the crowd to behave — to not riot and cause mayhem. And the officer, Robishaw, is completely willing to let the group do that.

But the complaint filed by the ‘Justice’ Department against Chansly, who has been jailed without bond for months, is flat-out a pack of lies.

“Robishaw and other officers calmed the protestors somewhat and directed them to leave the area from the same way they had entered. Chansley approached Officer Robishaw and screamed, among other things, that this was their house, and that they were there to take the Capitol, and to get Congressional leaders,” the complaint alleges.

Adds American Greatness, “The video directly contradicts what government prosecutors allege in a complaint filed January 8 against Chansley.”

Later, in video footage that has been more widely circulated, Chansley is seen entering the Senate chamber with a Capitol Police officer in tow. He would go on to lead several demonstrators in prayer and sit in then-Vice President Mike Pence’s chair.

“Chansley is not charged with assaulting an officer; he faces several counts for trespassing and disorderly conduct. He has been incarcerated since January, denied bail awaiting trial. He has no criminal record,” American Greatness added.

As stated, what happened that day is extremely strange in that it was so uncharacteristic for Trump supporters. There have been other videos appearing to show Capitol Police allowing demonstrators onto the Capitol grounds and into the Capitol building itself — as if that was the plan all along.

Here’s one tweeted by Newsmax TV host Greg Kelly; the officer is clearly waving demonstrators in to the complex.

There is also this. A week after the riot, a trained observer who can spot false flag operations wrote about what he had seen in The Federalist.

“The deadly riot at the U.S. Capitol bore the markings of an organized operation planned well in advance of the Jan. 6 joint session of Congress,” wrote J. Michael Waller, a senior analyst for strategy at the Center for Security Policy.

“His areas of concentration are propaganda, political warfare, psychological warfare, and subversion,” says his bio.

The Jan. 6 Capitol riot was staged: It was a false flag operation designed to entrap Trump supporters and justify criminalizing them for their political beliefs. The tyranny is just beginning.

NOW WE HAVE PROOF: FBI and DHS Attempted to Recruit Green Beret to Infiltrate Oath Keepers Before Jan. 6 Riot — AND HE RECORDED IT

Throughout 2020 the Black Lives Matter terrorist group was linked to conservatively 91% of the riots that resulted in the most expensive property damage in US insurance history

There were zero Trump rallies that turned violent during that same time period.

Then on January 6, after one million Trump supporters rallied with President Trump at the Ellipse outside the White House, some 900 individuals went inside the US Capitol. Over 400 have since been arrested even those who were waved into the US Capitol by the police standing at the exits.

Since January the Deep State and Democrats will not release videotapes to Republican lawmakers from January 6th inside or outside the US Capitol.

On Tuesday Revolver News published an important piece on the “unindicted co-conspirators” in the Jan. 6 attack who were never charged by the DOJ or FBI for their part in the violence on Jan. 6.

TRENDING: NOW WE HAVE PROOF: FBI and DHS Attempted to Recruit Green Beret to Infiltrate Oath Keepers Before Jan. 6 Riot -- AND HE RECORDED IT

The “unindicted co-conspirators” were frequently the most violent and leaders of the assault on the US Capitol. They are also likely FBI informants.

We posted on that earlier today.

HUGE! Revolver News Breaks Report on Likely Deep State Plants Inside Jan. 6 Uprising — WAS IT ALL PLANNED?

And now we have proof that the FBI was actively recruiting military members to infiltrate and spy on the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys before the Jan. 6 protests.

On March 23rd, The Gateway Pundit posted this article on former Green Beret Jeremy Brown.

CAUGHT ON VIDEO: FBI and DHS Attempt To Recruit Former Green Beret to Infiltrate and Spy on Oath Keepers, Proud Boys – But He Recorded The Conversation!

** You can support Jeremy Brown’s fundraising effort here.

Here is Jeremy’s story.

Jeremy Brown is a Green Beret and former Republican candidate for Congress in Florida’s 14th Congressional District. Brown served in the United States Army from 1992 to 2012 and reached the rank of Special Forces Master Sergeant.

Jeremy also attended the Stop the Steal protests in Washington DC on January 6. Jeremy joined the Oath Keepers in November and went to Washington DC to provide security at the many protests and rallies that week.

Last March, Jeremy Brown started speaking out about how the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) contacted him and attempted to recruit him to spy on patriots and everyday Americans.

In December FBI agents contacted Jeremy Brown at his home for “posting some things online.”

Jeremy released video surveillance of the FBI contacting him at his home. And Jeremy released an audio recording of his actual meetup with the FBI. Jeremy struggled for months about whether or not to go public with this information. But according to his Facebook page — “After listening to politicians and the FBI Director, Chris Wray, tell lie after bald-faced lie to the American People, he could not stay silent any longer.”

Jeremy decided his desire to protect and defend the American people and the TRUTH are more important than privacy or personal safety.

Earlier this year Jeremy joined Brandon Gray on Banned.TV to describe what happened to him after he joined the Oath Keepers in November.

Jeremy released a video of his encounter with government officials when they came to his home. Jeremy also released audio of his meeting with the FBI at a local restaurant.

Jeremy explains in his recent video that the FBI called his cellphone and asked for a meeting after trying to contact him at his house. Jeremy then met with the FBI agents at a restaurant in Ybor City in December. He told Brandon Gray that 38 seconds into the interview the FBI attempted to recruit him to spy on the Oath Keepers.

The Gateway Pundit spoke with Jeremy Brown earlier this year. Jeremy is SAFE, but laying low and keeping on the move until he says he has “a full grasp on any fallout that is sure to result.”

Jeremy recorded his interview with the FBI in Florida. He recorded and released the entire conversation to BanThis.TV.

This is really shocking information. The FBI is working to infiltrate patriot groups of retired military personnel who take an oath to uphold the US Constitution.
This is happening in America! And this took place BEFORE January 6th.

They’ve Done This Before: Five Past Cases of FBI Incitement

June 21, 2021 (18h ago)

Link: https://www.revolver.news/2021/06/five-cases-of-fbi-incitement/

Last week, Revolver highlighted the disturbing number of key figures in the January 6 Capitol incident who have gone unnamed and unindicted even as the number of criminal cases federal officials have brought spirals into the hundreds. Read it here if you’ve been living under a rock.

By now, it is a distinct possibility that many participants in the January 6 “riot” were associated with the government in some manner, be it as informants or full-blown agents.

America’s regime media is deeply committed to the narrative of January 6 as a planned “insurrection,” so they have flailed desperately to debunk reporting by Revolver as well as Fox’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight.” Twitter’s “neutral” “aggregators” made a cringeworthy clarification that only further bolstered Revolver’s claims.

Looks like Twitter and the FBI are big made at @DarrenJBeattie and Tucker Carlson. The amount of cope in this "clarification" is palpable. pic.twitter.com/vgEVaNB0fw

Revolver will continue to report out the story of the Capitol incident and the federal government’s potential role in instigating it. But there is another reason to suspect federal involvement in January 6: The federal government has a decades-long history of this exact behavior. Revolver has already reported extensively on the phony “plot” against Gretchen Whitmer in Michigan, where five out of eighteen core plotters were actually connected to the federal government. But there are countless additional incidents, all over the country, stretching all the way back to the 1950s.

Now, for your edification, we would like to present five of the most egregious incidents of the federal government inciting the crimes it claims to be fighting.

The First World Trade Center Bombing

Thanks to 9/11, the 1993 attempt to blow up the World Trade Center is little-remembered today. However, at the time it was one of the most significant terror attacks in U.S. history, killing six people and injuring more than a thousand. If the bomb had succeeded in its intended purpose, toppling the North Tower into the South, it might have claimed tens of thousands of lives.

What is even less well-known, though, is that the bomb that nearly murdered tens of thousands was built with the help of an FBI informant. Egyptian immigrant Emad Salem was a part of Ramzi Yousef’s cell during the plotting of the attack. Salem, posing as an ex-Green Beret, was encouraged by the FBI to join the nascent New York Islamic extremist movement. Once Salem had penetrated the cell, instead of using him to thwart an attack, the FBI deliberately let the attack go forward.

Law-enforcement officials were told that terrorists were building a bomb that was eventually used to blow up the World Trade Center, and planned to thwart them by secretly substituting harmless powder for the explosives, an informer said after the blast.

The informer was to have helped the plotters build the bomb and supply the fake powder, but the plan was called off by an FBI supervisor who had other ideas about how the informer, Emad A. Salem, should be used, the informer said. [Baltimore Sun]

Salem didn’t just observe. According to secret tape recordings he made of his own conversations with the FBI, Salem actually helped build the bombs.

Speaking with the agent about his expenses last April, Salem says costs were pushed higher by the building of the trade center bomb.

Told that his expenses had been “a little out of the ordinary,” he replies in broken English: “I don’t think that because we was start already building the bomb, which is went off in the World Trade Center.”

He says the bomb was built “by supervision from the Bureau (Federal Bureau of Investigation) and the D.A. (district attorney).” “We know that the bomb start to be built. By who? By your confidential informant. What a wonderful great case.” [Tampa Bay Times]

A few months before the bombing, Salem suspended his undercover work. According to Salem, it was because he didn’t like the danger of wearing a wire. But in 1995, FBI officials said they stopped working with Salem because he repeatedly failed polygraph tests.

After the bombing, Salem said wanted to complain to the FBI’s senior leadership. He was told to keep quiet instead:

The transcript quotes Mr. Salem as saying that he wanted to complain to FBI headquarters in Washington about the bureau’s failure to stop the bombing, but was dissuaded by an agent identified as John Anticev.

“He said, I don’t think that the New York people would like the things out of the New York office to go to Washington, D.C.,” Mr. Salem said Mr. Anticev told him. [Baltimore Sun]

Instead, the FBI redeployed Salem as an intelligence asset, having him participate in a second plot to blow up additional targets in the New York City area.

But the FBI had Salem do more than observe. They encouraged him to actively fan the flames of extremism, ostensibly to get information.

By creating the so-called bootleg tapes, Mr. Salem has given ammunition to defense lawyers who argue that he entrapped the 15 defendants charged with conspiring to bomb New York City landmarks.

In one instance that shows how Mr. Salem was prompted by Federal agents, Mr. Anticev is quoted in the same NYT report from above as saying, “You know, pump, maybe kind of pump him up a little bit.” The agent tells Mr. Salem to stress “the loyalty to his cousin.” The target in that instance, Ibrahim A. Elgabrowny, is a cousin of the man who was charged with shooting Mr. Kahane and now a defendant in a plot to bomb New York City targets.

Salem positioned himself as a talented and enthusiastic extremist, who lured additional men into the plot. But Salem wasn’t just inciting violent extremism from others. He was also the key figure moving the plot along. He volunteered to build bombs, tested timing devices for them, and rented the group’s safe house where he was going to mix the explosives. Salem’s role in the plot was so central that arguably it simply would not have gotten off the ground without his involvement.

And Salem had a strong motive to inflate the plot as much as possible. When the plot was punctured and the participants (other than Salem) arrested, he was paid more than a million dollars for his work and subsequent testimony.

Garland, Texas shooting

The First Annual Muhammad Art Exhibit and Contest in Garland, Texas was one of the strangest moments in America’s long confrontation with Islamic terrorism. Elton Simpson and Nadir Hamid Soofi hoped to kill dozens of unbelievers and achieve a glorious martyrdom. Instead, they managed to kill only themselves, as they were both wounded by off-duty Garland police officer Gregory Stevens just seconds into their attack, before being finished off by SWAT officers.

The Garland attack was a macabre farce, but it easily could have been a horrifying massacre. Simpson and Soofi were both wearing body armor and were armed with six guns and more than 1,500 rounds of ammunition. And if innocents had been killed, it would have been entirely due to the actions of the FBI.

When Simpson and Soofi drove to the site of the attack, an FBI agent was in a car right behind them. That informant was dressed in Middle Eastern garb, and looked the part so well that local police nearly shot him in the mayhem. That informant also actively abetted the attack. Merely a week before the shooting, when Simpson shared a link about the upcoming cartoon contest, the agent replied by urging him to “tear up Texas.” Simpson replied by saying the agent didn’t have to be so overt about what was to be done.

After the attack, the FBI claimed that despite their agent being in direct contact with one of the shooters beforehand, the entire thing was a huge coincidence. The agent, they said, was at the Muhammad cartoon contest as part of another infiltration operation, and was surprised as anyone to see the other two attackers there (so surprised, apparently, that instead of trying to stop the attackers he simply fled the scene in a panic). The fact an FBI agent was in a car directly behind the attackers at the moment they arrived and started their attack was just a huge fluke worthy of a sitcom like Arrested Development.

Of course, if the agent’s presence really was innocent, it raises the question of why it was kept a secret from the public for fifteen months afterwards, and why the FBI has avoided full transparency in the matter to this day (even now, the agent’s name isn’t public).

“That morning, before one of those terrorists left and tried to commit mass murder, he exchanged 109 messages with an overseas terrorist,” Comey told the Senate committee. “We have no idea what he said, because those messages were encrypted.”

Comey didn’t offer more specifics, but he said the Garland incident was a prime example of the need for tech companies to alter the design of apps and devices so that the data is made accessible when public safety is at stake.

“Lots of good people have designed their systems and their devices so that judges’ orders cannot be complied with, for reasons that I understand,” Comey said in an apparent swipe at iPhone-maker Apple. “I’m not questioning their motivations. The question we have to ask is, ‘Should they change their business model?’” [NBC News]

Hal Turner

For years, Hal Turner stood out as one of the most inflammatory figures on the American right. Getting his start as a frequent caller to Sean Hannity’s radio program, Turner later ran his own online radio program while also participating in local grassroots activism in New Jersey. Routinely, Turner’s rhetoric turned violent: He called for American citizens to gun down illegal immigrants and suggested that white people would have to lynch blacks and Hispanics if street crime wasn’t brought under control. Here’s what happened after the 2006 midterms:

On December 6, 2006, Turner announced: “We may have to ASSASSINATE some of the people you elect on Nov. 7!

“If you are too stupid to turn things around with your vote, there are people out here like me who are willing to turn things around with guns, force and violence. We hope our method does not become necessary.” [Daily Voice]

In 2008, Turner specifically promoted violence against a local school official for introducing a pro-gay and pro-“diversity” curriculum.

Lexington superintendent Paul Ash of Newton has been threatened by a New Jersey radio host urging listeners to “use threats and violence” against Ash for the school district’s new diversity curriculum.

The radio host says “I advocate parents using FORCE AND VIOLENCE against Superintendent Paul B. Ash as a method of defending the health and safety of school children presently being endangered through his politically-correct indoctrination into deadly, disease-ridden sodomite lifestyles.” The site lists Ash’s last known addresses, a phone number, and a birth date. [MetroWest Daily News]

Turner also fantasized about violent action against then-presidential candidate Barack Obama.

“I’m starting to come to the realization that it may be up to a sole person, acting alone, to make certain this guy is never allowed to hold the most powerful office in the world,” he wrote on his blog.

Finally, in 2009, Turner called for the murder of federal judges Frank Easterbrook, Richard Posner, and William Bauer after they upheld Chicago’s strict handgun ban.

“Let me be the first to say this plainly: These judges deserve to be killed,” Turner said. “Their blood will replenish the tree of liberty. A small price to pay to assure freedom for millions. … These judges deserve to be made such an example of as to send a message to the entire judiciary: Obey the Constitution or die.”

To drive his point home, Turner also posted photos, phone numbers, and work addresses for the three judges. Shortly after, Turner was arrested and charged with making criminal threats to intimidate the judges.

But as his trial proceeded, Turner made a stunning revelation: He had been acting on the FBI’s orders the whole time:

They called him “Valhalla.”

But it was more than a nickname.

For more than five years, Hal Turner of North Bergen lived a double life.

The public knew him as an ultra-right-wing radio talk show host and Internet blogger with an audience of neo-Nazis and white supremacists attracted to his scorched-earth racism and bare-knuckles bashing of public figures. But to the FBI, and its expanding domestic counter-terror intelligence operations in the wake of the Sept. 11 attacks, Turner was “Valhalla” — his code name as an informant who spied on his own controversial followers. [NorthJersey.com]

The FBI, perhaps realizing the PR mess they’d gotten themselves into, claimed that Turner was only a fringe asset whose behavior was outside the FBI’s control. But it was a lie:

[A]n investigation by The Record — based on government documents, e-mails, court records and almost 20 hours of jailhouse interviews with Turner — shows that federal authorities made frequent use of Turner in its battle against domestic terrorism.

As Turner took to his radio show and blog to say that those who opposed his extremist views deserve to die, he received thousands of dollars from the FBI to report on such groups as the Aryan Nations and the white supremacist National Alliance, and even a member of the Blue Eyed Devils skinhead punk band. Later, he was sent undercover to Brazil where he reported a plot to send non-military supplies to anti-American Iraqi resistance fighters. Sometimes he signed “Valhalla” on his FBI payment receipts instead of his own name.

In a memo only two years earlier, the FBI said Turner “has proven highly reliable and is in a unique position to provide vital information on multiple subversive domestic organizations.” The memo went on to say that Turner’s “statistical accomplishments include over 100 subjects identified, over 10 acts of violence prevented and multiple subjects arrested.” [NorthJersey.com]

According to Turner, he was actively coached by the FBI on what rhetoric to use to gin up support from extremists, and and was even advised on whom to attack (he says he was specifically told to criticize black figures like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton). The FBI denied that, and internal documents produced no evidence, but it’s obviously possible that more controversial or embarrassing instructions to Turner were “lost,” or simply never written down in the first place.

Eventually, Turner was convicted for threatening the three judges, and spent three years in prison. According to Turner, the moral is simple: He trusted the FBI, and was betrayed.

COINTELPRO

The FBI’s famous 15-year-long Counter Intelligence Program, abbreviated COINTELPRO, is best-known for spying on Martin Luther King Jr. and sending him an anonymous letter encouraging him to commit suicide. COINTELPRO is also notorious for monitoring various anti-Vietnam War protesters and using Stasi-style efforts to embarrass or discredit activists and extremists deemed a threat to American values or stability.

But COINTELPRO’s activities were far more eclectic than just espionage and smear tactics. The FBI also routinely employed agents provocateur in ways that clearly paved the way for shenanigans like the Whitmer kidnapping “plot.”

From 1967 through 1970, Tommy Tongyai, better known as “Tommy the Traveler,” hopped around the country posing as a radical member of Students for a Democratic Society. In fact, Tongyai was an FBI informant, who persistently urged non-violent activists to up their game:

In “The Revolutionary Was A Cop,” one student states that on a different, presumably earlier occasion, Tommy had brought into a dorm room “some gasoline and a Coke bottle, and he said, ‘Let’s go out and throw a Molotov cocktail…in front of Superdorm.”

And I said, “You’re crazy.”

[Tommy] said, “Well, come on, it’ll make a nice big boom and get the residents stirred up. Throw a little scare into them. Show them what we can do.” [Andrew Wickenden]

Two students at Hobart College, acting at Tongyai’s urging, firebombed a campus ROTC building, and were then swiftly arrested and sentenced to several months in prison each.

In May 1970, an FBI informant burned down a building at the University of Alabama during protests after the Kent State shooting; the arson was then used as a justification to arrest 150 demonstrators. Larry Grathwohl, who joined Bill Ayers’s terrorist group the Weather Underground, turned out to be an FBI infiltrator. But that didn’t stop him from planting bombs on the group’s behalf.

And so it went, over and over:

A prominent member of Vietnam Veterans Against the War — and FBI informant — pushed for “shooting and bombing,” and his advocacy apparently did indeed lead to a bombing and a bomb threat. An FBI informant in Seattle drove a young black man named Larry Ward to a real estate office that engaged in housing discrimination and encouraged him to place a bomb there; the police were waiting and killed Ward. Thirteen Black Panthers were accused of a plot to blow up the Statue of Liberty after receiving 60 sticks of dynamite from an FBI informant. After 28 people broke into a federal building to destroy draft files in 1971, an FBI informant bragged, “I taught them everything they knew.” All 28 were acquitted when his role was revealed.

The FBI also allowed informants within right-wing organizations to participate in violence against progressive activists. Gary Thomas Rowe, who infiltrated the Ku Klux Klan in 1960, provided the FBI with three weeks warning that the Klan was planning attacks on Freedom Riders arriving in Alabama from the north. The FBI stood by and allowed the attacks to occur. Local police gave the Klan 15 minutes to assault the activists. In those 15 minutes, the white supremacists — including Rowe — set the Freedom Rider bus on fire in an attempt to burn them alive. [The Intercept]

COINTELPRO’s activities were only exposed when the Citizens’ Commission to Investigate the FBI, a left-wing activist group, broke into an FBI field office in the suburbs of Philadelphia, stole relevant documents, and then gave them to the media. As soon as the program became public, the FBI announced it would immediately stop all such activities. But that doesn’t meant they did. According to ex-operative Joseph Burton, the FBI paid him to set up and lead a group of Maoist radicals, the Red Star Cadre. Burton says the FBI paid for the group’s equipment, travel, and lodging when it journeyed to the 1972 Republican National Convention in Miami. While there, Burton encouraged demonstrators to try to topple a bus and then blow it up (they tried, but were unable to do so). He ran the group until 1974.

The Herald Square Bomber

Shahawar Matin Siraj was one of the government’s biggest catches in the early years of the War on Terrorism. In 2004, Siraj, a bookstore employee, was recorded by FBI informant Osama Eldawoody “plotting” to bomb the Herald Square subway station in New York. He was arrested, convicted of engaging in a terrorist conspiracy, and sentenced to thirty years in prison.

Except, without Eldawoody’s prodding, there would have been no “conspiracy” at all. Eldawoody, who was paid $100,000 for his informant work, actively inflamed anti-American sentiment in Siraj, acting as an older mentor who pushed him in the direction of violent action.

Siraj was quietly pleased when Eldawoody started offering him rides after work. The young man listened as his friend counseled him on personal responsibility and the Prophet’s sayings. Over the months, Siraj found himself pouring his heart out to Eldawoody, about his financial woes and about Mano, the woman in Pakistan he had met online; he hoped to marry her soon. He was distraught when Eldawoody confided that he was suffering from a liver disease and worried that it was potentially fatal. Siraj promised to care for Eldawoody’s daughter if anything happened to him and began telling him, in his broken English, “I am like your son.”

Slowly, their conversations took on a darker edge. Eldawoody complained to Siraj that the F.B.I. was harassing him, maybe because he was a Muslim who knew about nuclear engineering. They discussed the Abu Ghraib prison scandal and online images of Muslims being tortured and killed in the wars overseas. When Siraj saw a picture of a girl who was raped, he broke down and cried. Eldawoody seemed to share his friend’s anger. Something had to be done, something that would get the world to pay attention. [NY Times]

Eventually, Siraj tried to back out of the plan, but Eldawoody manipulated him to stay the course.

Siraj explained that it would be noticeable, then tried a different approach, telling an invented story about the F.B.I. arresting two Muslims during a Pakistan Day parade near Herald Square. It would be too dangerous for him to be in the area now. Growing annoyed, Eldawoody reminded him that the Brothers were counting on him. Siraj hedged. He had already given the Brothers the idea, he said. He could help with the planning aspect, really anything but planting the bomb, but he needed to feel comfortable with every single detail. And there was another matter. “I have to, you know, ask my mom’s permission.”

Exasperated, Eldawoody asked more directly about Siraj’s willingness to place a bomb. “You don’t want to put it there?”

“No.”

There was silence as the car rolled through Queens. Suddenly, Elshafay said he would dress up as a Jew for the operation, and Siraj jokingly encouraged the idea, hoping laughter would cut the tension. Again, Eldawoody asked if Siraj would join. Siraj, now so close to home, responded that he could check out the security at the station. He clarified again, though: He wouldn’t carry a bomb. He didn’t want to put it anywhere with his hands.

Eldawoody pulled up to Siraj’s apartment building. They shook hands, but Siraj could sense Eldawoody’s frustration and disappointment.

“I’m sorry,” Siraj said, and got out. [NY Times]

Just days later, Siraj was arrested, brought down in a plot whose entire existence hinged on an FBI instigator.

The above cases only touch the surface of the FBI’s long history of entrapment/incitement schemes. Indeed, the more we learn about the FBI and the national security state generally, the more we are compelled to wonder whether they exist to do anything BUT conspire against the American people.

Stay tuned as Revolver continues to break news on the latest chapter of the FBI and national security state’s shame and infamy.

Jewish FBI Agent Infiltrates Bible Study Group; Then Tries to Entrap Its Members

Eric Striker • July 7, 2021

The family of 27-year-old Fi Duong thought they escaped government oppression when they left Vietnam. They were wrong.

According to an FBI criminal complaint, Duong has been closely surveilled by the FBI for the past six months, including while he engaged in religious activity.

In conversations with undercover FBI agents, Duong held that he entered the Capitol on January 6th to film the events in a journalistic capacity. The man was a member of a Virginia-based Bible study group that Jewish Joint Terrorism Task Force special agent Jason Jankovitz decided to open up a domestic terror probe into.

Agents repeatedly tried and failed to snare Duong into a Molotov cocktail plot because he owned multiple empty glass bottles. They were not able to charge him for any explosives related crimes, but the New York Times and various other outlets are reporting him as a terrorist anyway.

Feds At Bible Study

According to Jankovitz, Duong popped up on the FBI’s radar after an undercover Metropolitan police officer made contact with him outside the Capitol on January 6th.

A week later, the MPD officer introduced Duong to an undercover FBI agent, who he invited to a Bible study group he attended in Alexandria, Virginia. The suspect expressed anguish over the fact that his family fled persecution in Vietnam in hopes of obtaining freedom in the United States, only to now be subjected to similar oppression in America for his patriotic beliefs.

At the house, the FBI agents participated in discussions about the Bible and the group of friends also shot firearms together. The criminal complaint also describes plans to improve their driving skills and train together in martial arts.

Outside of telling group members that he had entered the Capitol to film as a journalist, description of an instance where he had infiltrated an Antifa event, and discussions of Virginia peacefully seceding from the United States, there was nothing in the group that justified federal agents spying on them.

Failed Attempts At Entrapment

Multiple agents began isolating members and trying to talk them into behavior that could be construed as a domestic terror plot.

Judging from the affidavit, Duong was meticulously law abiding. He discussed plans to obtain a suppressor for his rifle but only after filing the proper paper work with the ATF, for example. The complaint against Duong focuses heavily on his political criticisms of Antifa, Black Lives Matter and the Democratic Party, but does not describe any activity that could be prosecuted as criminal.

After noticing a box of empty glass bottles in the suspect’s home, agents began pressuring him to make Molotov Cocktails.

While creating the contraption — a glass bottle filled with gasoline and ignited with a rag to make a small fire — for entertainment value does not strike most people as a serious crime, federal prosecutors on a political mission have in the past charged making Molotov cocktails as the same thing as building an actual bomb.

Last June, two FBI agents pressured Duong into trying to build Molotov cocktails to test them out in West Virginia. The suspect then changed his mind last minute. He told the two undercover agents that he wanted to obtain permission from the ATF to construct the explosive device before actually doing it.

The agents soon peer pressured him into another attempt, this time at an abandoned prison in Fairfax County, which the FBI could use to dump serious charges on the man.

He was picked up in an undercover FBI vehicle and the men engaged in “reconnaissance.” At the site, Duong was recorded telling the agents that he liked the idea, but would seek to get formal permission from the state before testing the devices near the facility.

Ultimately, the undercover agents got frustrated and decided to charge him for trespassing at the Capitol. In spite of this, the FBI complaint features the phrase “Molotov cocktail” over 24 times, which is an attempt to paint the suspect as a dangerous criminal when he appears before a judge.

It should be noted that an FBI criminal complaint is merely a narrative constructed by the agent authoring it, and should thus be taken with a grain of salt.

Even as the only information available to the public at the moment, there are already serious civil rights and freedom of religion questions, including in respects to bias and hate when it comes to a federal agent of Jewish ancestry deciding to target men of the Christian faith for surveillance while they engage in fellowship and worship.

NEW VIDEO: Black-Clad Hoodlums Were First Up the Stairs, First to Smash Windows at US Capitol — But FBI Refuses to Look for Them – Weird, Huh?

So, just how many FBI informants and infiltrators were involved in the Jan. 6 riot?

And why is the FBI refusing to look for two of the most violent protesters?

Bobby Powell the host of “The Truth is Viral” podcast was invited on OAN last week to discuss his viral video that exposed two likely FBI informants who were filmed breaking windows, attacking the building, and even pushing people inside the US Capitol.

Bobby was on the east side of the US Capitol on Jan. 6. He witnessed several men attacking the building. Bobby told OAN, “Two men I saw attacking the building, breaking windows, and even pushing people inside HAVE NOT been arrested. And they are not on the list of suspects being sought by the FBI. Now I provided the FBI with 29 minutes of high definition footage, 1080p, more than five months ago. Neither one of these men has been arrested. They are not in any of the 400+ indictments, I’ve checked them all. There’s not one frame of video not one still photograph on either of these men on the FBI’s webpage that ask people to give them tips on who the rioters were. The FBI’s YouTube channel or their Facebook page. They’re putting up all kinds of fuzzy pictures but they’re not putting up the HDI images that I sent them.”

Bobby and fellow Trump supporters then stood guard at the broken window and refused to allow fellow Trump supporters inside the building!
The police left the US Capitol open!

So Much Evidence that January 6, 2021 was a Calculated Set-Up

capitol
Political persecution and isolation of vast swaths of the citizenry by the Justice Department, the Intelligence Community, and the Judiciary in the wake of the January 6, 2021, Capitol incursion should bring a chill down the spine of every American. This same troika, but with different nomenclature, was mobilized by 20th Century despots to eliminate their political enemies and establish a police state.

(I attended the January 6, 2021 rally at the U.S. Capitol and observed first-hand what the media and the Democrats have falsely and with malice claimed was an “armed insurrection.”)

The initial step in consolidating power is to incessantly demonize as enemies of the state one’s political opponents. The second is to isolate and delegitimize them by either staging or so exaggerating an incident that any and all steps to quash them are acceptable in order to “save the nation.” Therefore, the question is: was January 6th pre-planned by legitimate Trump supporters, was it spontaneous or was it a calculated set-up?

The American Left and its wholly-owned subsidiaries, the Democrat party and the agitprop media (previously known as the mainstream media), have for the past 12 years cast conservatives and Republicans as promoters of “white supremacy.” It was the Department of Homeland Security, at the behest of Barack Obama, that first declared in April of 2009 that right-wing terrorism or white supremacy was the greatest threat facing America. Despite the fact the number of actual white supremacists is minuscule.

The most radical and mendacious president in American history, Barack Obama, established the precedent that virtually every attack on conservatives or Republicans is framed in implacable racism and white supremacy. With the election of Donald Trump, these outright fabrications dramatically accelerated and were extended to include anyone who supported or voted for Trump.

The only thing missing was an incident that could be hyperbolically exploited into a justification for unleashing the police powers of the government against conservatives, Republican politicians, and supporters of Donald Trump. January 6, 2021, became that incident.

I wrote the following in the early morning hours of January 7, 2021:

I abhor trafficking in conspiracy theories and have avoided doing so over my entire life. Nonetheless, I cannot help but entertain a growing suspicion in the back of my mind, after having witnessed firsthand the events of January 6 and the near complete lack of police presence at the Capitol and knowing what Antifa has done in other pro-Trump rallies, that the powers-to-be at a minimum hoped what happened would happen.

The FBI claim that they were aware of the possibility of violence by small fringe groups and that they notified the proper authorities on Capitol Hill. Yet no additional steps were taken in response by anyone in authority at the Capitol. Throughout 2019-2020 every Trump rally in Washington involved violence by Antifa and Black Lives Matter whether it was the “Demand Free Speech” rally on July 6, 2019, or the closing night of the Republican Convention at the White House on August 27, 2020, or the “Million MAGA March” on November 14, 2020. The powers-to-be in the Capitol and the local government knew of this recent history yet refused to call in additional police or accept Trump’s offer of 10,000 National Guard troops.

I have participated in numerous marches and events in Washington, the first being the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom in August of 1963 as well a number of major anti-Vietnam War protests, a couple of March for Life rallies, the 9/12 Tea Party rally in September of 2010 and Ronald Reagan’s first inauguration. The number of participants in some of these gatherings exceeded 400,000 to 800,000+. The January 6 “Stop the Steal Rally” was among the larger I have seen.

Yet, I was taken aback by the obvious lack of preparation as well as practically non-existent crowd barriers at the Capitol. There was virtually no police presence at the East Front of the Capital and far too little at the West Front. The overall police presence was woefully inadequate for the crowd everyone knew would eventually show up at the Capitol grounds not to mention the potential for violence being initiated by Antifa and Black Lives Matter.

It was difficult not to notice that among those at the doors at the West Front of the Capitol were stereotypical Antifa-looking militants and atypical Trump supporters waving Trump flags trying to incite others as the useless barriers of snow fencing had been easily breached beforehand.

The only attempt at crowd control was the police indiscriminately using flashbangs and tear gas against peaceful protestors and not arresting the obviously unruly ones. These same few police soon stepped aside and opened the doors which had been unlocked from the inside, effectively inviting the protestors into the Capitol.

The agitprop media and the Democrat party had their narrative: the rally attendees were violent revolutionaries and President Trump their execrable leader and instigator of the “insurrection” to overthrow the government. Thus, January 6th was far worse than Pearl Harbor or September 11, 2001. Therefore, in order to save the nation, the full police force of government must be mobilized against this existential threat.

Attorney General Garland testified that the “invasion” on January 6th was the most dangerous threat to American democracy ever and that white supremacy (read conservatives and Trump supporters) was an imminent threat to the nation. He requested an additional $100 million for enhanced intelligence capability to monitor this threat and declared that the investigation into January 6 is the largest in FBI history. Joe Biden also reiterated that white supremacy is the greatest threat to America. The Department of Homeland Security reinforced this statement and issued a sweeping set of policy changes to “improve its ability to collect and analyze data” about domestic extremists.

Additionally, the Department of Justice, using the specious argument that it may prompt further violence, refuses to release to the public over 14,000 hours of video taken at the Capitol during the “insurrection” instead cherry-picking isolated clips and releasing them to the agitprop media to further their narrative

Thus, the script and blueprint written by the despots of the Twentieth Century are being faithfully executed. The third member of the tyrannical troika, the Judiciary, is also playing out its role in establishing a police state.

Thanks to the intrepid reporting by Julie Kelly at the American Greatness website, we know the following:

1) No one has been charged with sedition or using or possessing a lethal weapon, thus, no armed insurrection. The most common charge filed against the more than 500 that have been arrested is trespassing, despite many being let into the Capitol by the police.

2) As bail was not granted, despite the minor charges and no prior convictions, numerous detainees are being held in a reopened jail in appalling third-world conditions and at times in solitary confinement subject to physical abuse. All are awaiting trials that will not happen for nearly a year.

3) The FBI has used theatrical and unjustified SWAT team tactics in arresting suspects. People who were not in the Capitol have been arrested, questioned, detained, and publicly humiliated. After overtly insisting that friends, relatives, and neighbors must spy on their fellow citizens, the FBI is using uncorroborated information from virtually anyone as a pretext to arrest rally-goers.

4) All those arrested and being detained will be tried in Washington, a city that voted against Trump by a margin of 17 to 1. Federal Judges, who are supposed to be impartial, have openly sided with the government in virtually all their filings and bail requests and have not forced the prosecutors to release the exculpatory information requested by the defendants or shown a willingness to correct the abuses in prison.

5) Meanwhile many thousands of rioters, looters, and arsonists that destroyed buildings, businesses, and injured police officers during the summer of 2020 have not been arrested or if arrested, the vast majority have been released or given suspended sentences.

I have experienced first-hand the tyranny and devastation wrought by totalitarianism. What we are witnessing with the success of the decades-long war on the culture and the radicalization of the education establishment combined with the exploitation of January 6, 2021, is the onset of the final stage of a constitutional republic and the rise of a permanent authoritarian one-party oligarchy. This is no longer a squabble between political factions. I implore every American to wake up and become politically active on the local, state, and federal levels before it is too late.

EXCLUSIVE: Paul Gosar Tells National File Whitmer Kidnapping Case Is ‘Proof In The Pudding’ Of Fed Infiltration On 1/6

"You've got the proof in the pudding in regards to Gretchen Whitmer, Governor Whitmer up in Michigan," explained Congressman Gosar.

Link: https://nationalfile.com/exclusive-...of-in-the-pudding-of-fed-infiltration-on-1-6/

Andrew White — July 27, 2021

Speaking exclusively with National File, Congressman Paul Gosar (R-AZ) spoke out against the indefinite detainment of January 6 prisoners, slammed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s partisan January 6 Select Committee, and suggested that the FBI-sponsored alleged plot to kidnap Michigan Governor is “proof in the pudding” that undercover federal actors likely infiltrated the pro-Trump crowd on January 6 to sabotage the peaceful protest.

Following a press conference held by Reps. Paul Gosar (R-AZ), Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and Louie Gohmert (R-TX), relating to the apparently indefinite detainment and reported mistreatment of January 6 prisoners that was ultimately interrupted by deranged leftists, National File spoke with Rep. Gosar to discuss reports of prisoner abuse in the DC Detention Center, the 14,000 hours of unreleased January 6 video footage being withheld by the Biden administration’s Department of Justice, Nancy Pelosi’s partisan January 6 Select Committee, and reports of undercover federal infiltration of the pro-Trump crowd on January 6.

As the press conference was interrupted and cut short by leftist agitators, we asked Rep. Gosar after if there was anything else he would like to add. “No, I said my peace,” Gosar said. “Our office has repeatedly sent letters of inquiry to the Department of Justice asking about, you know, are there people detained, why are they not being charged? Releasing the 14 thousand hours of tape, so that we can hold the law breakers accountable, and justify the people that are innocent, allowing them freedom.”

“It’s sad that we have, in this country, implicated this indefinite detention, whereas in Gitmo, non-citizens were treated much better than even these people. That’s what we’ve heard, and so we want them to come clean,” added Congressman Gosar. “We need to have that release. That’s all we were asking. We want to make sure that Americans are treated fairly under the law. Everybody, equal application under the law.”

Gosar slammed politicians like Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders, and groups like the ACLU and Amnesty International for remaining silent on the indefinite detainment of American citizens. “They used to, you know, be right there front and center on people that are being held indefinitely. That was a big concern with regards to the National Defense Authorization Act [NDAA 2012] for years because of the provision that allowed for indefinite detention. That’s not right underneath our law.” When speaking on Nancy Pelosi’s partisan January 6 Select Committee, the Arizona Representative said that Pelosi “doesn’t want the real questions to be asked.”

“Why were all the riot gear in a bus locked up somewhere off site? Why was that? Why did we turn down the number of additional Capitol Police? Why did we turn down some of the National Guard aspects?” Gosar asked. “That panel is not going to ask the questions that need to be addressed. Pelosi needs to have the questions answered because she’s the one in charge.” (READ MORE: 1/6 Photos, Videos Show Potential Undercover Feds Participate In Violence, Assault Trump Supporters Trying To De-Escalate)

When we asked Congressman Gosar if he or any members of the government are looking into the confirmed reports pertaining to undercover federal involvement within the pro-Trump crowd, specifically mentioning the bad actors that appear to have committed unlawful acts near or inside the Capitol building on January 6 in an effort to undermine and sabotage the peaceful rally, the Arizona Representative said “They should.”

“You got one that’s been point and center, you got John Sullivan. You know, for CNN, right there, egging people on,” Gosar said, specifically adding that the Michigan Governor kidnapping case is “proof in the pudding” of undercover federal involvement on 1/6. (READ MORE: Court Filings Show FBI Had 12 Confidential Informants Involved In Alleged Plot To Kidnap Michigan Governor)

We asked Rep. Gosar if Republican elected officials like Kevin McCarthy and Steve Scalise are assisting in his efforts to uncover the truth about January 6. “I don’t know,” replied Rep. Gosar, noting that his office will continue to “take action” and “leave no stone unturned.” He added, “Put the information out. Hold those that are guilty accountable. But those who are innocent, remedy that by letting them go,” said Congressman Gosar. Watch National File’s full exclusive interview with Rep. Paul Gosar on Rumble.

Disband The FBI

Congress should authorize and create an investigative division in the U.S. Marshals Service.

Additionally, Congress should open applications for law enforcement officers seeking to be rigorously screened, vetted and then accessed into the new organization.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) continues its downward spiral into terminal corruption. Sadly, the scandals, criminality and ethical abuses of the organization are largely ignored by the American public and by the institutions of government charged with oversight and correction. Outrage after outrage is reported, hearings are held, Inspector General reports are issued — but the systemic corruption is never really tackled and dirty cops skate away virtually unscathed.

This situation is constitutionally unacceptable, corrosive to public trust in law enforcement, and a threat to the survival of the republic.

In the past few days alone, we have learned that the October 2020 Michigan governor kidnap plot was largely a creation of the FBI; a “senior FBI official” was on the take from media organizations; and another assistant director was in a “romantic relationship with a subordinate” and involved in “other misconduct.”

The leadership failures documented by the Office of the Inspector General are now almost standard and part of a tiresome media drip-torture for the public to endure.

Meanwhile, the FBI had the audacity to issue a Stasi-like tweet urging “monitoring of ‘family members and peers’ for extremism.”

Remember: what we learn about the FBI in the press are only the stories that are SO outrageous that the FBI cannot keep a lid on them and is forced to make disclosures via a toothless Inspector General report — but never anything that results in a criminal indictment. Imagine what the ordinary day-to-day misconduct in FBI offices across the country could be. And these scandals don’t just amount to “bad press” – in several of these, federal courts scourge the FBI for lawbreaking. Additionally, Inspector General report after report details FBI abuses such as whistleblowers being retaliated against and ignoring “high-risk” employees who fail polygraph tests.

There are still apologists for the FBI. Some seek to defend the organization with the rationalization that “it’s always been that way.” That sort of thinking is a cynical effort to inoculate and immunize real criminality as something normal and regular. “Get used to it kid, that’s the way of the world,” they offer with a shrug and a grin. Others, like Sean Hannity, cling to the “just a few bad apples” excuse. That sort of FBI cheerleading flies in the face of a litany of systemic abuses and pervasive abusers. The FBI ran a coup against President Trump. It failed. The following got away: Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Page, Clinesmith, Pientka, Brower, Baker, et al. Any real consequences for attempting to overthrow the government of the United States? No.

In May 2018, veteran reporter Eric Lichtblau of Time magazine wrote an article titled, “The FBI Is in Crisis. It’s Worse Than You Think,” wherein he detailed:

“The bureau, which is used to making headlines for nabbing crooks, has been grabbing the spotlight for unwanted reasons: fired leaders, texts between lovers and, most of all, attacks by President Trump … internal and external reports have found lapses throughout the agency, and longtime observers, looking past the partisan haze, see a troubling picture: something really is wrong at the FBI… other painful, more public failures as well: missed opportunities to prevent mass shootings that go beyond the much-publicized overlooked warnings in the Parkland, Fla., school killings; an anguishing delay in the sexual-molestation probe into Olympic gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar; and evidence of misconduct by agents in the aftermath of standoffs with armed militias in Nevada and Oregon. FBI agents are facing criminal charges ranging from obstruction to leaking classified material.”

Four years later and the situation has not improved.

Let us go back to the Michigan governor “kidnap plot” for a moment. The entire operation was an anti-Trump political smear job — and was called into question for being exactly that back when the story broke in October 2020. Now we find out that the FBI was running at least a dozen paid “confidential informants” in the plot. It was a plot they dreamed up. It was actually a rehash of an Obama-era 2010 FBI plot by the so-called “Hutarees” that fell apart in court.

The FBI worries about “entrapment” in these cases because the FBI must demonstrate that there is reasonable suspicion that the subject in a case is about to be or is engaging in criminal activity. The government then allows the criminal/terrorist the opportunity to commit the act. In these cases, the FBI has good reason to worry.

More disturbingly, this is nothing new. Look at the “Herald Square Bomber” case as another instance in which the FBI identifies, recruits, trains, dispatches and then arrests the very informant they recruited in the first place. The FBI appears to have fabricated plots and terrorists to advance their own agenda and statistics. It looks, walks, and talks like “entrapment.” Are there really no other bad guys out there for the FBI to go after? They need to focus on this modus operandi?

Questions are now being raised as to whether the FBI had a role in the Capitol Hill protests of January 6, 2021. When one examines the FBI’s involvement in the Trump-Russia collusion hoax; Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) abuses; standing by idly while in possession of Hunter Biden’s Ukraine and Burisma-laden laptops, while President Trump endured a second phony impeachment; and the frame-up of Trump’s National Security Advisor, Lieutenant General Michael Flynn – it is not too difficult to imagine. And that is just the problem: It is not difficult to imagine. It should be an “impossibility.”

The FBI needs to go away. It should happen in an orderly and thoughtful process, over a period of months. Congress should authorize and create an investigative division in the U.S. Marshals Service and open applications for law enforcement officer seeking to be rigorously screened, vetted and then accessed into the new organization. Similar action was taken before in the very creation of the FBI. It is now time to clean house and restore the public’s trust in the “premier investigative agency” of federal law enforcement.

FBI Seizes Entire Bank Account of Conservative Talk Show Host After He Attended a Trump Rally

During a viral new documentary released on Tuesday, Conservative Talk Show host Nicholas J Fuentes discussed the legal repercussions he has faced after he simply attended former President Trump’s speech on January 6th.

Fuentes never entered the capitol building and remained approximately 200 yards away from the nearest entrance. The 23-year-old talk show host says he went to the capitol building following Trump’s speech because the former President said he would also be giving a speech outside the front of the building.

“Currently the FBI is pursuing an investigation against me for my involvement at the capitol, I had done nothing wrong at the capitol, I committed no crime, I went there for the Trump rally at the Elipse which is just outside the White House,” Fuentes said during the documentary.

“I walked to the capitol with hundreds of thousands of other people for a civil first amendment protected demonstration. I didn’t participate in any violence or illegal criminal activity. So on the one hand I knew I had done nothing wrong but on the other hand, I knew that in this new country that we have, that doesn’t necessarily protect you from law enforcement.”

In the film, Fuentes noted that days later he noticed his credit card was declined for a subscription he signed up for. After checking his bank account, he found that his balance went from almost half a million dollars the day before, to zero dollars.

“I went through my transaction history and I saw a legal order that subtracted my entire bank balance,” Fuentes said. “Both my credit cards and my entire checking account were frozen.”

Fuentes said that what made this so crushing is that the Department of Justice and the FBI are immovable.

“Because of the war on terror, because of the Patriot Act, because of how the federal government operates, they really can do whatever they want to whoever they want, and there’s nothing you can do about it.”

Fuentes was also recently banned from flying on U.S. airlines by the United States Government, put on the official no-fly list, and permanently banned from Twitter following his attendance at the Trump speech on January 6th.

Fuentes was on his way to a press conference where he was intending to address political censorship online, only to find out that he had been censored by the U.S. government and banned from flying there.

Fuentes speculates that the mass action taken against him is due to his large effective reach, gigantic audience size, his ability to turn out hundreds of people at a moment’s notice, and his vocal support of former President Trump.

Fuentes suggests that he is a true ‘threat to the system’ because of this.

America First

Operation Choke Point was a 2013 initiative of the United States Department of Justice that led to the investigation of banks in the United States and the business they did with firearm dealers, and other companies the government claimed to be at ‘high risk for fraud and money laundering.’

The operation soon extended to dozens of conservative and tea party groups.

In 2013 the IRS admitted it applied extra scrutiny to conservative groups applying for nonprofit status. Lois Lerner, then the head of the Exempt Organizations unit responsible, became the public face of the scandal, though many other IRS officials were involved as well.

In 2018. The Trump administration, after years of litigation, settled a lawsuit with a group called ‘True the Vote’ which was investigated and raided by the FBI and IRS on multiple occasions amid the mass targeting.

Today, American dissidents and conservatives say they are experiencing Operation Chokepoint ‘on steroids.’

Unlike in 2012, the U.S. Government now mostly relies on private industry to silence its critics. Many of these companies, which are ideologically aligned with the American regime, now have more power than the federal government can ever dream of.

In a recent opinion piece for The Hill, Kristen Tate outlined how America’s version of China’s social credit system is already here, and how it is becoming worse than China’s as time progresses.

“Last week, PayPal announced a partnership with the left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center to “investigate” the role of “white supremacists” and propagators of “anti-government” rhetoric, subjective labels that potentially could impact a large number of groups or people using their service. PayPal says the collected information will be shared with other financial firms and politicians. Facebook is taking similar measures, recently introducing messages that ask users to snitch on their potentially “extremist” friends, which considering the platform’s bias seems mainly to target the political right. At the same time, Facebook and Microsoft are working with several other web giants and the United Nations on a database to block potential extremist content.”

“When does your debit card get canceled over old tweets, your home loan denied for homeschooling your kids, or your eBay account invalidated because a friend flagged you for posting a Gadsden flag?”

This is already happening to a large degree to American citizens like Fuentes, Andrew Torba, Vincent James, Alex Jones, and thousands of others who are having their bank accounts banned, credit cards frozen, and are banned from nearly every social media platform, payment processor, and ridesharing app.

America’s new social credit system has just now begun to affect those who refuse the COVID vaccine.

Soon, many Americans will not be able to enter bars, restaurants, or supermarkets because they are unvaccinated. Many also won’t be able to travel, go to school, go to work, financially transact, and maybe even access streaming services without having to show or upload their vaccine certificates first.

Perhaps the most terrifying part is that millions of Americans are simply falling in line with this new status quo.

Bombshell Evidence Shows FBI Agent Ordered Whitmer Kidnap Plotter To Cover Up FBI’s ‘Unlawful’ Involvement

A fresh report about the FBI’s role in the Whitmer kidnapping has been released today, with the defense counsel claiming that the FBI ordered his client, one of the plotters, to cover up their involvement, which he claimed was “unlawful”.

DC Examiner reported an FBI agent told an informant to falsify and delete text conversations that would prove the agency was unlawfully promoting the conspiracy, according to the attorney for a man suspected of being involved in a scheme to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.

In a court filing on Friday, attorney Michael Hills, who represents defendant Brandon Caserta, made the allegations, asking Judge Robert Jonker of the Western District of Michigan to order the government to produce all communications between Special Agents Impola Henrik and Jayson Chambers and the informant of the Wolverine Watchmen militia group known as “Dan.”

Hills released photos purported to show Impola asking Dan to “be sure to delete these,” presumably referring to plot-related messages.

According to Hills, Henrik allegedly told Dan to accuse another member of the gang of being a federal agent, even though that person was not one of the six indicted by the Justice Department in connection with the scheme.

“Copy. Best thing to do is deny and accuse somebody else like Trent,” the message allegedly said.

“These text messages indicate the F.B.I. was pushing their paid agent to actively recruit people into an overt act in furtherance of a conspiracy,” Hills wrote in the filing.

Hills said he suspected the communications reveal the FBI’s informant was the “person at the center of all activity” and that the agents pushed him “to actively recruit and entice people to either enter a conspiratorial agreement or an overt act in support of an agreement.”

He also said the defense team’s need for further materials is “self-evident,” indicating they would be employed for an entrapment defense and used to address the government witnesses and its methods during trial.

Hills believes the FBI’s informant was the “person at the center of all activity” and that the agents pressured him to “actively recruit and entice people to either enter a conspiratorial agreement or an overt act in support of an agreement,” according to the conversations.

He also stated that the defense team’s need for more materials is “self-evident,” implying that they will be utilized in an entrapment defense and to address government witnesses and procedures during the trial.

This seems to jive with what Buzzfeed reported almost a month ago, that the FBI was far too involved in recruiting people for this plot to kidnap Whitmer. And if that turns out to be the case, it will surprise none of us.

We’ll keep an eye on the developments in this case…

BOOM: FBI ADMITS Jan 6 Wasn’t An Insurrection — ZERO Evidence Found That Riot Was An ‘Organized Insurrection’ Or That Trump Can Be Blamed

Link: https://en-volve.com/2021/08/20/boo...zed-insurrection-or-that-trump-can-be-blamed/

After months of investigations and arrests, the FBI has now, finally, admitted that there is no real evidence that the riot at the Capitol on January 6th was anything other than just a riot.

‘Scant evidence’ is how Reuters generously describes the FBI having found absolutely zilch in the way of a coordinated plots or conspiracy to overthrow the government. No insurrection, no revolution, no plot.

SCANT is a good word for today. There’s SCANT evidence of coordination on January 6th and SCANT evidence of coordination in the pull-out from Afghanistan. Over there, they had an actual insurrection. Over here: nope.

Over there, riots were quelled by the imposition of a new and former power as the Taliban forcefully took over. Over here, unrestrained riots raged for a year until the incorrect kind of riot occurred in Washington, D.C., and the Democrats seized power via deception and fraud.

From Reuters, via Hot Air.

“The FBI has found scant evidence that the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol was the result of an organized plot to overturn the presidential election result, according to four current and former law enforcement officials.

Even if the organizing of some militia groups in D.C. was recognized internally, “there was no grand scheme with Roger Stone and Alex Jones and all of these people to storm the Capitol and take hostages,” according to one source familiar with the investigation. Although the Proud Boys decided to invade the Capitol that day, the FBI claims that there is “no evidence that the groups had serious plans about what to do if they made it inside.”

This is what we refer to as “scant” evidence. They didn’t find any at all. It’s not a conspiracy or a plot that a militia is a centrally organized group or that Proud Boys communicate with one another. There isn’t anything. There is no conspiracy. There was no uprising. There was nothing at all. I suppose that qualifies as scant. “GOOSE EGG” is what I’d call it.

But if that’s how they want to use it, then SCANT is what we should say about the Biden administration’s competence. Scant is the planning for evacuating them or the many hundreds of Afghans who worked directly with and for our troops and staff.

SCANT is the evidence of Biden’s administration proving their case that somehow Trump and Parler and Roger Stone and Dan Bongino tried to do a coup.

It’s a good word, scant. There’s scant evidence we still have a fully functioning democratic republic with freedom and liberty for all.

Keep that word in mind. It’s also a good way to describe the marbles Biden has rolling around upstairs, anymore.
