Dollar store gunman sought after robbery

A man yesterday afternoon robbed a Paris Road discount store at gunpoint, and the robber remained at large late this morning.
Just before 3 p.m. yesterday, police said, a man walked into the Show Me Dollar Store at 3008 Paris Road and asked the clerk a question. As he was leaving the store, he turned and showed a silver-color handgun, demanding money from the 27-year-old clerk.
The clerk, who was not injured, told police the gunman fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. He described the robber as a black man with a tattoo on his neck, a deformed ear and crooked teeth. He was in his early 30s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 155 pounds, with “scruffyâ┚¬ facial hair.
