Ted Cruz is clueless about Muslims, says Bratton

NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton lashed out at Ted Cruz on Wednesday, saying the GOP presidential candidate is clueless when it comes to anti-terror policing.
“He doesn’t know the hell what he is talking about, to be frank with you,” Bratton told “CBS This Morning.”
Bratton said he was offended when Cruz, responding to Tuesday’s Brussels terror attacks, said cops nationwide must “patrol and secure Muslim neighborhoods” to stop potential terror attacks.
“I have almost thousand Muslim officers at the NYPD. Ironically when he’s running around here, we’ll probably have a few Muslim officers guiding him.“
The city’s top cop admitted there’s no way in New York to stop a terrorist attack like the one carried out in Brussels.
“Soft targets’ that is the term used. New York is a clear example of that,” he said. “We are a city of 8 1/2 million people with thousands of locations where a large number of people congregate. So the idea of trying to protect all of that, it’s not possible.”
