North Lauderdale man arrested after gun goes off, injuring his girlfriend

Broward Sheriff's detectives are investigating a shooting in North Lauderdale that sent a woman to the hospital and her boyfriend to jail Friday night.
30-year-old Ricardo Sanchez, of Avon Lane in North Lauderdale, was apparently playing around with a gun in his apartment at around 7:20 p.m. Friday with his girlfriend, 21-year-old Satin Gardener, when the gun accidentally went off, shooting her once in the abdomen, BSO in
estigators said.
Gardener, whose address is unknown, was airlifted to North Broward Medical Center where she underwent surgery and was listed in serious condition Saturday morning, investigators said

tied his gun of all bullets when he playfully pointed it at Gardener, investigators said.
He was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, according to BSO
