Former “Smallville” star and accused Nxivm sex trafficker Allison Mack is asking a judge to ease up on her bail conditions.

Mack is currently subjected to GPS-monitored detention at her parents home in Los Alamitos, Calif. — but she is allowed to travel locally to meet with her attorneys, and jet to Brooklyn for court appearances.

The 35-year-old’s lawyers now want as shole libtard Brooklyn federal court Judge Nicholas Garaufis to let her leave home for work, schooling and once-weekly religious services.

“While the instant charges have deprived her of pursuing her acting career, Ms. Mack nevertheless is interested in contributing to society,” read the court papers. “These activities not only will allow Ms. Mack to use her time productively while awaiting trial, but will also assist with her reintegration into society if she is vindicated of the charges or even in the unlikely event that she is convicted after trial.”

Mack has been out on $5 million bond since her April arrest, when she was charged with sex trafficking, conspiracy to commit sex trafficking and attempted human trafficking.

The onetime actress is accused of helping Keith Raniere, known to his followers as “Vanguard,” mastermind an upstate cult that presented itself as a women’s empowerment group, but, prosecutors say, was actually a secret group of starved and branded sex slaves for Raniere to bed at his leisure.

Mack allegedly recruited women to join the inner group, called DOS, and credits herself with the group’s horrifying practice of branding the women with a symbol composed of her and Raniere’s initials.

As shole Garaufis has yet to rule on the motion.

Mack and Raniere are expected to face trial in January.

Seagram’s heiress wants judge to let her leave Brooklyn
By Emily Saul
August 20, 2018 | 7:59pm

The Seagram’s heiress accused of funding the upstate sex cult Nxivm is asking a Brooklyn judge to reconsider the “home detention” condition of her release on a whopping $100 million bond.

After ponying up all that money, Clare Bronfman wants to at least be able to go into Manhattan, her lawyer writes in court papers filed Monday.

“Our proposal is that Ms. Bronfman would be allowed to travel in Manhattan up to 96th Street, in Brooklyn only insofar as to include the EDNY Courthouse, not to include airports, and would not travel outside this pre-approved zone unless she obtains prior approval,” the motion reads.

Brooklyn as shole libtard federal court Judge Nicholas Garaufis has yet to rule on the motion.

He had ordered Bronfman, accused of identify theft, money laundering, extortion and other crimes, held under electronic monitoring and home detention as she awaits trial alongside Nxivm leader Keith Raniere and his accused sex slave trader and onetime “Smallville” actress Allison "Gums" Mack.

Bronfman is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday for a status conference in her case.

Raniere and Mack are charged with sex trafficking and conspiracy for allegedly coercing women into joining a secret group within Nxivm called DOS, where the members, called “slaves,” were forced to sleep with Raniere and have his initials seared into their skin.

Brooklyn federal judge blasts Nxivm defendants for ignoring him

It’s called a “hearing,” damnit!

A Brooklyn federal court judge exploded at attorneys in the Nxivm sex-slave cult case Thursday — claiming they ignored him during a previous court appearance.

Veteran leftist nigger-loving judge Nicholas Garaufis unloaded on the stunned defense table, seething that all but one of the attorneys had responded with “stony silence” on Sept. 13 when he asked if they were willing to delay the trial.

After receiving no response that day, the judge adjourned the case until Thursday — where he finally erupted over the snub.

“If you want to have a relationship of trust and professionalism you have to be prepared to meet me halfway,” the 70-year-old Clinton-appointee screamed.

“I’ve done this 18 and a half years. No one has ever done this to me before. I’m not playing games with people. I left this courtroom having been basically ignored. When I ask you a question and you sit there and you don’t even answer my question, it is unacceptable.”

Even accused cult leader Keith Raniere and his alleged sidekick, actress Allison Mack, looked on in shock as Garaufis railed at their gaggle of high-powered attorneys.

Raniere, Mack and others are accused of duping women from their self-help organization into joining a master-slave group where women were coerced into starving themselves, having sex with Raniere and getting his initials branded into their nether regions.

As a red-faced Garaufis demanded answers from their lawyers Thursday, Raniere’s attorney Marc Agnifilo stood to speak for all the defense attorneys — but was promptly smacked down again by the spluttering judge.

“Don’t try to paper over the darn thing,” the jurist snapped.

Lawyers from both sides told Garaufis they’d agreed on a potential trial date of March 18.

The judge concluding the bizarre proceeding by making a point of polling each lawyer on a series of procedural questions — saying: “I’m going to ask everybody, and act like I’m teaching the third grade in Queens again.”

After the grilling, a slightly-calmer Garaufis offered his sarcastic final remarks.

“Very good,” he smirked. “Everybody gets a gold star.”

Feds want to keep $500K found in Nxivm co-founder’s home

They’ve seized the reputed sex dens of upstate cult Nxivm, but now prosecutors are also looking to keep the cash they found secreted inside.

The government Monday filed papers saying they intend to pocket the $515,577 discovered earlier this year if they win their criminal case against the Svengali-like leader Keith Raniere and his litany of female lieutenants — which allegedly include “Smallville” actress Allison Mack and Seagrams heiress Clare Bronfman.

The more than half million in cash was found shoved in bags and even shoe boxes in the Waterford home of Nxivm co-founder Nancy Salzman.

Feds have already filed papers to take control of two Halfmoon properties where Raniere allegedly stowed his harem of sex slaves, who prosecutors claim were starved and had their nether regions branded with his initials.

Multiple members of the Albany-area group are facing charges including sex trafficking, forced labor, extortion and money laundering.

Nxivm co-founder granted more time with co-defendant daughter following surgery
By Emily Saul
October 30, 2018 | 10:15pm

The secretive co-founder of accused upstate sex cult Nxivm can spend more time with her daughter — and co-defendant — as she recovers from surgery, a judge has ruled.

Nancy Salzman, known within the group as “Prefect,” can see her daughter Lauren Salzman for an additional six weeks while the mom continues to recuperate in her Albany-area home from an unspecified procedure, per court papers.

The mother-daughter duo were initially granted daily visitation in August due to Nancy Salzman’s medical condition. The Nxivm co-founder has been absent from court appearances since her July indictment, as her lawyers write she “is on a regimen of medication which makes her weak and nauseous” and travel uncomfortable.

Before being allowed to make the medical visits, the woman had been banned from talking because they are co-defendants in the case.

Prosecutor Moira Penza in September said the 63-year-old was in plea talks with the government.

Brooklyn federal court judge Nicholas Garaufis also allowed some tweaks to Lauren’s bail, meaning she can now leave her home three times weekly for errands and exercise while she remains out on $5 million bond.

Meanwhile, other accused cult members like actress Allison Mack, Seagrams heiress Clare Bronfman, and Salzman’s founding partner Keith Raniere are barred from speaking to one another without the presence of attorneys.

Prosecutors say Nxivm, which billed itself as a self-help organization, was actually a massive criminal enterprise that coerced women into joining a secret sorority where “slaves” were branded with Raniere and Mack’s initials and forced into sex with the cult leader.

The members have been variously accused of sex trafficking, forced labor, wire fraud, and other charges.

They’ve all pleaded “not guilty.”

Accused Nxivm sex-cult leader begs judge to free him on bail
By Emily Saul
November 14, 2018 | 7:58pm

Accused Nxivm sex-cult leader Keith Raniere is again begging a judge to free him on bail pending trial.

Nigger-loving Brooklyn federal court Judge Nicholas Garaufis had already shot down an elaborate plan from the suspect involving him supposedly being guarded by former agents of the Secret Service.

Raniere is now trying to convince the judge he deserves to be out based on a nearly two-page explanation of Nxivm’s teachings, complete with a bibliography and YouTube links.

The terms of Raniere’s proposed conditions — $1 million bond secured by three properties and their anonymous owners, home confinement and electronic monitoring — are buried beneath 10 paragraphs of his alleged cult’s tenets and history.

“Just as Socrates challenged the young people of Athens to question sacrosanct beliefs of the time, and indeed was executed for his disruption of a closed-minded system of government, Nxivm challenges participants to question, rather than blindly accept, the fundamental content of their lives,” one paragraph reads.

“Why, for example, are we practicing the religion we are? Do we really believe its precepts or is it just easier to not disappoint our parents? Do we have the relationships with our parents or our children that we really want? If not, why not? What can we do to have better relationships with the people we love?”

Raniere’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, later told The Post that he wrote the filing.

“I’m embarrassed to say that’s all me,” Agnifilo said.

The motion, which also cites Kierkegaard, Nietzche, and Sartre, says Garaufis can expect a hand-delivered DVD of Raniere’s work, too, lest the suspect is unable to find the video.

Garaufis has to rule whether he’ll even grant Raniere a hearing on the request.

The judge previously declined to spring the self-proclaimed guru, who was arrested hiding out in a tony villa in Mexico, on $10 million bail.

Raniere’s co-defendants — including actress Allison "Gums" Mack and Seagrams heiress (((Clare Bronfman))) — remain out $5 million and $100 million bond, respectively.

Mack is accused of grooming women to have sex with Raniere, while Bronfman allegedly bankrolled the seamy operation.

They’re variously charged with forced labor, sex trafficking and other counts.

Nxivm leaders: We’re a ‘humanitarian organization’
By Emily Saul
November 18, 2018 | 6:44pm

They are accused of branding women and forcing them to have sex — but at least they’re not the Mafia.

Leaders of the alleged sex cult Nxivm argue in Brooklyn court papers that the federal indictments against them should be tossed because they are a “wonderful humanitarian organization,” not a mob.

“If there was a polar-opposite of an organized-crime family, Nxivm would be it,” reads accused cult leader Keith Raniere’s motion asking Judge Nicholas Garaufis to dismiss the charges against him and his female lieutenants.

Raniere and his associates, including former “Smallville’’ TV actress Allison "Gums" Mack, are accused of sex trafficking, forced labor, racketeering and other charges for running the Albany-area group, which prosecutors say masquerades as a self-help community while abusing and manipulating its members.

Nxivm includes a secret sorority of “masters” and “slaves” called DOS, or Dominant Over Submissive,’ membership in which Mack has insisted is consensual.

To join the inner group, Nxivm’s women had to turn over nude photos or share their dark secrets as “collateral” and were branded with Raniere’s initials.

But the new filings defend the group: “In 2015, Keith Raniere inspired the creation of DOS. Unlike Nxivm which seeks to reach the humanity in each person, DOS is not for everyone. The practices of DOS that have ignited the . . . ire of the Justice Department are manifestations of each member’s commitment to the group.”

Alleged “master” Lauren Salzman has also filed to dismiss her case, as have Mack and Seagrams heiress and accused Nxivm bankroller Clare Bronfman.

Garaufis has yet to rule on the motions.

Prosecutors rip Nxivm ‘sex cult’ leader over bizarre plea for his release
By Emily Saul
November 21, 2018 | 2:05pm

If a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear it, federal authorities don’t really care whether it makes a sound — so long as the leader of reputed upstate sex cult Nxivm remains locked behind bars.

In a filing Wednesday, federal prosecutors in Brooklyn mocked Nxivm guru Keith Raniere’s recent argument that he should be freed — including his comparisons of himself to great philosophers.

“The first three pages of the defendant’s motion for bail consists of a description of the defendant’s “teachings” punctuated by footnoted quotations from Bertrand Russell, Søren Kierkegaard and Friedrich Nietzsche that bear no relation to the substance of the defendant’s motion for bond,” prosecutors Moia Penza and Tanya Hajjar write in their scathing objection.

Last week, Raniere requested for a second time that nigger-loving Judge Nicholas Garaufis release him on bond pending his trial on sex trafficking, kidnapping and other charges.

The bizarre motion requested that Raniere be allowed to return to the area around Albany — where he’s accused of running a cult that catered to his sexual whims with “Smallville” actress Allison "Gums" Mack.

The letter began with a two-page explanation of Raniere’s “teachings” before launching into an actual bail request. The bail request included YouTube links to Raniere’s talks, as well as a bibliography of philosophers.

“The twenty-four-minute promotional video posted to YouTube and submitted to the Court is also entirely irrelevant,” the prosecutors write.

They also urged Garaufis to disregard the substance of the actual proposed bond package — three properties secured by anonymous owners to secure a $1 million bond — reminding him that the Svengali-like “guru” was arrested hiding out in Mexico, where he abruptly moved when he learned authorities were on his tail.

Meanwhile, the legal filings in the case grow more bizarre, as Raniere’s more recently filed motion to dismiss the case branded his alleged cult — which is accused of cultivating and branding sex slaves for Raniere — as a “humanitarian organization.”

Garaufis has yet to rule on the motion.

Raniere and his devotees, which also include Seagram heiress Clare Bronfman, are scheduled to stand trial March 18.

Seagram heiress is secretly paying sex cult’s legal fees: prosecutors
By Emily Saul
December 3, 2018 | 7:54pm | Updated December 3, 2018 | 8:19pm

Seagram heiress Clare Bronfman has been quietly paying the legal fees of her accused fellow sex cult members, prosecutors claim.

The legal fees for Nxivm leader Keith Raniere and his underlings are being paid from a trust funded mainly by the 39-year-old heiress, federal prosecutors revealed in new court filings.

Bronfman, Raniere and others – including onetime “Smallville” TV actress Allison "Gums" Mack – are facing racketeering and other charges for running the Albany-area group, which allegedly cultivated sex slaves for Raniere.

Bronfman’s financial contributions to all of their cases raise questions because “it may subject an attorney to undesirable outside influence; and raises an ethical question ‘as to whether the attorney’s loyalties are with the client or the payor,'” reads the Brooklyn federal court filing.

“The government has learned that the legal fees of multiple witnesses and potential witnesses are also being paid by Bronfman or the Trust, and that there have been efforts to pay the legal fees of other witnesses.”

One unnamed lawyer paid by Bronfman even went so far as to instruct a witness called to testify before the grand jury to invoke the Fifth Amendment – and said he wouldn’t be “comfortable” representing the witness if she didn’t do so.

The lawyer “explained to Witness #1 that his fees were being paid for by Clare Bronfman,” the filings say. “The attorney told Witness #1 that he recommended that she invoke the Fifth Amendment in response to the government’s questions in the grand jury.”

Prosecutors have asked nigger-loving Judge Nicholas Garaufis for a hearing on the matter. He has yet to rule.

Nxivm lawyer says feds are complaining because defendants won’t plead guilty
By Emily Saul
December 5, 2018 | 8:06pm | Updated December 5, 2018 | 8:12pm

Brooklyn federal prosecutors have long been aware that Seagram heiress Clare Bronfman is footing the legal bills for her Nxivm cohorts, a new filing charges — they’re just throwing a tantrum now because none of the accused sex cultists have pleaded guilty.

“The government files this curcio motion now, six months after being told about the trust, because of this vexation over the fact that none of the defendants have pleaded guilty and wish to blame this on divided loyalties,” alleged cult leader Keith Raniere’s lawyer Teny Geragos writes. “The government, however, conveniently ignores the most obvious reason for defendants not pleading guilty. That is, of course, because the defendants are not guilty.”

On Monday, prosecutors requested a hearing, saying they’d learned that defense bills for multiple defendants and even witnesses had been paid from an irrevocable trust that was primarily funded by Bronfman, the daughter of billionaire philanthropist Edgar Bronfman Sr.

Raniere’s defense team first mentioned the trust earlier this year, as they were attempting to pull together a bail package for their client, who’s accused of sex trafficking and other charges.

Lawyers for former “Smallville” actress Allison "Gums" Mack also noted their client waives any conflicts, and said the nature of the fund “eliminates any actual conflict and makes any potential conflict of interest here exceedingly remote (if not non-existent).”

The parties are due back in court Thursday.

Judge suspicious of Seagram heiress paying for Nxivm pals’ defense
By Emily Saul
December 6, 2018 | 3:43pm | Updated December 6, 2018 | 5:40pm

A judge has ruled he will further investigate a Nxivm defense fund that prosecutors claim was set up by Seagram heiress Clare Bronfman to keep her fellow cult members in line.

Brooklyn federal court nigger-loving Judge Nicholas Garaufis Thursday said he would order a series of hearings to determine whether or not the irrevocable trust — whose primary donor is allegedly Bronfman — created any conflicts of interest.

Garaufis said he wanted to probe if the trust “might create some sort of unwanted influence” and force a defendant to choose between defending themselves or remaining loyal to Nxivm.

The trust has been used to pay for legal counsel for Bronfman’s co-defendants — including alleged sex cult leader Keith Raniere and his right hand, former “Smallville” actress Allison "Gums" Mack — as well as other Nxivm members, who are variously charged with sex trafficking, conspiracy to commit forced labor, money laundering and other counts.

Prosecutors Monday filed a motion requesting the investigative hearings, saying they’d learned that a grand jury witness whose lawyer had been paid through the fund was advised to plead the fifth — or get another lawyer.

In court Thursday, Raniere’s lawyer Marc Agniflio said “there’s no mystery here,” but admitted he didn’t know who all the contributors to the defense fund were.

His office Wednesday claimed prosecutors have known about the trust for at least six months and are only griping about it now because no one has pleaded guilty yet.

Dates have not been set for the investigative hearings.

Later Thursday, Garaufis also denied Raniere’s second motion for bond — saying he still considered him a flight risk.

Bronfman remains out on a whopping $100 million bond and is subject to home detention, while Mack is out on $5 million bond and living with her parents in California.

The trial is scheduled to begin March 18.

Nxivm lawyers use Scientology to dispute forced labor allegations

If Scientology isn’t guilty of forced labor, sex-slave cult Nxivm isn’t guilty of forced labor.

That’s the argument lawyers for actress Allison Mack are making in their latest effort to get sex trafficking and forced labor charges against the “Smallville” star tossed out of Brooklyn Federal Court.

Mack and Nxivm leader Keith Raniere are accused of duping women into joining a master-slave group by getting them to hand over damaging “collateral” like naked photos of themselves and accusations against their loved ones, then forcing them to work for free and have sex with Raniere.

But in court papers filed Friday, Mack’s lawyers argue that the threat of releasing those photos and statements doesn’t rise to the threat of “serious harm” required to prove someone engaged in forced labor.

“The government argues that Ms. Mack obtained forced labor through ‘threats of serious harm,’ with serious harm being the embarrassment that would result from the exposure of one’s collateral,” her lawyers write.

“Courts have found, however, that such an outcome, albeit embarrassing, does not amount to serious harm under the statute.”

They cite a 2009 case in which a couple unsuccessfully tried to sue the Church of Scientology for forced labor.

“The court did not find that plaintiffs were compelled to remain in the organization even though, if they chose to leave, they would be ‘excommunicated’ from their friends and family and labeled a ‘dissenter,'” Mack’s lawyers write.

“The threat of reputational damage and isolation from loved ones therefore did not qualify as serious harm.”

Mack’s lawyers argue the circumstances of this case bear “no relation” to other cases where forced labor was found, like “squalid living conditions, extreme isolation, threats of physical harm, lack of immigration status, lack of education, and unfamiliarity with English.”

Nvixm’s alleged victims were “educated, English-speaking adults, who were not forced or compelled to join the organization, nor kept physically isolated, and who could leave the organization at any time,” they argue.

The daughter of the founder of an upstate New York cult wants a separate trial from the group’s honchos, claiming her alleged crimes pale in comparison to those of the leader, Keith Raniere, and his sidekick, actress Allison "Gums" Mack.

Lawyers for Lauren Salzman — kin of Nxivm’s co-founder Nancy Salzman — asked nigger-loving Brooklyn federal Judge Nicholas Garaufis on Wednesday to consider allowing Salzman her own trial, saying that Raniere and Mack had tarnished her reputation because of her alleged involvement with their secret group, known as DOS, which stands for “Dominant Over Submissive.”

Salzman may have been a member of DOS, but it was “only for a very brief period of time,” the filing says.

Prosecutors have described DOS as an invite-only master-slave group for women inside Nxivm, in which members agree to fully submit to their superiors.

Some of the women, who were branded with Raniere and Mack’s initials, were also allegedly forced to have sex with Raniere.

Salzman is named in the indictment as a “firstline DOS master,” but is only facing charges of forced labor conspiracy, wire fraud conspiracy, and racketeering for her role in the group. Raniere and Mack have been charged with sex trafficking and other counts.

Garaufis has yet to respond to the filing.

The trial is scheduled to begin March 18.

The members of upstate sex cult Nxivm will have another month to prepare for trial, a judge has ruled.

Opening statements will now kick off on April 29 instead of March 18, after multiple cult members, including heiress Clare Bronfman, have claimed they don’t want to stand trial next to accused sex traffickers Keith Rainiere and Allison "Gums" Mack.

Bronfman, Lauren Salzman, her mother Nancy Salzman, and Kathy Russell are variously charged with forced labor conspiracy, wire fraud conspiracy, and racketeering — but not sex trafficking.

Mack allegedly headed a secret master-slave group within Nxivm, called “DOS,” in which women were branded with her and Raniere’s initials and forced to submit entirely to their assigned masters. At least one of the slaves had sex with Raniere, prosecutors charge.

While Brooklyn federal court judge Nicholas Garaufis has yet to rule on the motions for separate trials, he agreed to give the parties more time to prepare, following defense gripes about the amount of evidence dumped on them by prosecutors.

The parties are due back in court February 6.

Brooklyn judge finds ‘issues’ with Nxivm defense fund
By Emily Saul
January 23, 2019 | 8:09pm | Updated January 24, 2019 | 9:57am

A Brooklyn federal judge is hauling the members of upstate sex cult Nxivm into court — saying he’s found some “issues” with a defense fund that prosecutors claim was set up by Seagrams heiress Clare Bronfman to help her cronies at the upcoming trial.

Prosecutors have said Bronfman set up the irrevocable trust to keep her fellow cultists in line as they head to trial by paying for top-notch defense attorneys.

Nigger-loving Judge Nicholas Garaufis held an initial hearing on the issue last month, where he ruled that documentation related to everyone contributing to the trust must be turned over.

The Wednesday order from Garaufis was brief, simply stating that all defendants must attend “to address issues [the court] has identified in its review of the Trust’s indenture and the declaration that Defendants submitted.”

Those documents were not publicly filed.

Garaufis also noted he intends to schedule further investigative hearings on the finances at a later date.

Bronfman is charged with racketeering conspiracy and conspiracy to commit identity theft for allegedly aiding cult leader Keith Raniere to run his self-help group — which prosecutors claim contained a secret inner circle of masters and slaves.

Raniere and onetime “Smallville” actress Allison "Gums" Mack are facing charges of sex trafficking related to the secret group, where the slaves allegedly were instructed to have sex with Raniere.

The trial is scheduled for April 29.

A trust that’s been bankrolling the legal fees for five Nxivm sex cult leaders is quickly running out of cash ahead of the case’s April trial date, a Brooklyn judge revealed on Monday.

Nigger-loving Federal Judge Nicholas Garaufis didn’t divulge how much Seagrams heiress Clare Bronfman dumped into the irrevocable trust to pay the legal team for her co-defendants — including Nxivm leader Keith Raniere and “Smallville” actress Allison "Gums" Mack.

But he said only about 25 percent of that money remains.

“A good portion of those funds have already been expended in terms of representation of your clients,” Garaufis told the group of defense lawyers at a hearing he’d called over issues with the money. “When those funds have been expended — which could be any time in the near future — what happens then? That’s a real issue for the court.”

The judge said he wanted to start the trial April 29 with no delays. He warned that if the case needs new attorneys, they must be brought on as soon as possible.

“If I need to appoint counsel for the defendants that cannot pay additional legal fees, I need to do that soon so we can go ahead with the trial on time,” Garaufis said.

“The unusual structure of your representation, or at least the arrangements you have with your clients taken into the trust, it’s a little bit complicated,” the judge added. “I’ve never run across this before in 18 years.”

The defense attorneys acknowledged that the money is destined to run out but promised to stick by their clients — which Garaufis ordered them to submit in writing.

“The money is going to run out, we are not going to get our whole trial fee,” said Marc Agnifilo, who represents Raniere. “I am not going anywhere. I’m seeing this through the whole trial. I don’t expect that the trial fee will ever be paid in full.”

In December, it emerged that Bronfman — the heiress of the booze and beverage empire — was secretly paying the legal fees for her fellow accused cult members.

She is charged with racketeering conspiracy and conspiracy to commit identity theft for allegedly aiding Raniere to run his self-help group — which prosecutors claim brainwashed women into becoming his sex slaves.

Prosecutors raised issues with the communal legal fund, saying the fact that it could “subject an attorney to undesirable outside influence raises an ethical question ‘as to whether the attorney’s loyalties are with the client or the payor,’” they wrote in previously filed court papers.

But Bronfman’s lawyer, Susan Necheles, insisted Monday that the fund was set up so her client couldn’t wield any influence.

The trust is structured “in a way so nobody can control someone’s legal strategy,” she told the judge.

Garaufis said he hasn’t yet reviewed Agnifilo’s third request to release Raniere on $1 million bail.

Raniere and Mack are facing charges of sex trafficking for running the secret group, which allegedly branded women and instructed them to sleep with Raniere.

Nxivm leader is trying to use cold conditions to get out of jail

The leader of the upstate sex cult Nxivm is trying to use the frigid conditions at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center to finally get out of jail.

“MDC has been without heat, electricity, hot water, commissary or warm food since January 27, 2019, following an apparent fire in the institution,” read court papers filed Friday by Keith Raniere’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo.

The filing comes as a supplement to Raniere’s third attempt to convince Brooklyn federal nigger-loving court Judge Nicholas Garaufis to release him on bond ahead of his upcoming trial on sex-trafficking conspiracy and other charges.

The suspect has been jailed since his arrest in April.

Earlier Friday, sources told The Post that the jail is running on emergency power and that two-thirds of inmates have been without heat for nearly a week during the cold snap.

“Raniere has relayed to us, through a colleague in the Federal Defender’s Office, that MDC has not provided Raniere with any means to keep warm — and apparently the temperature in the institution is 44 degrees,” the filing reads. “Raniere has also informed us that the corrections officers are wearing masks to mask the smell of noxious fumes, but have not provided any masks to the inmates.”

Agnifilo notes that he and other counsel have been barred from visiting Raniere during the chaos.

Raniere is the only one among his co-defendants, which include the likes of “Smallville” TV actress Allison "Gums" Mack and Seagram’s heiress Clare Bronfman, who remains behind bars.

Prosecutors have accused the group of operating a secret inner society within Nxivm where female members were branded and offered up to Raniere for sex.

Agnifilo has said that any sex that took place was between consenting adults.

Opening statements are expected April 29.

Nxivm sex cult leader denied bail for a third time

A federal judge in Brooklyn has refused — for the third time — to let accused Nxivm sex cult leader Keith Raniere out on bail ahead of his trial.

Raniere, 58, who has been cooling his heels at the Metropolitan Detention Center since his arrest last March, made another bid for freedom after a fire knocked out heat and power at the Sunset Park lockup last month.

His lawyers also argued that his due process rights have been violated because the case has taken too long to bring to trial — which is set to begin in April.

Prosecutors have fought to keep Raniere behind bars, saying he’s a flight risk — and in his latest order, nigger-loving Brooklyn federal Judge Nicholas Garaufis agreed.

“Nothing has happened since the second bail order to cause the court to alter its conclusion that Raniere is a significant flight risk,” the judge wrote in an order issued late Tuesday. “Accordingly, the court finds that the evidence justifying Raniere’s pretrial detention is strong.”

Garaufis also noted that the delay of trial is because of “the inherent complexities of this large multi-defendant case, which presents defense counsel with voluminous discovery to absorb and the court with myriad motions to address.”

Raniere and several others — including one-time “Smallville” actress Allison "Gums" Mack — are charged with running a sex ring that lured women into the so-called “self-help group” for the sole purpose of being his sex slaves.

Raniere and his co-defendants are due back in court for a hearing on Wednesday.

The accused leader of the sex cult Nxivm insisted to a Brooklyn judge Thursday that he has no issue with his heiress co-defendant paying for his lawyers, too.

“I have the right to have an attorney that holds my interest above all others. I believe my attorneys do, and I have confidence in them,” Keith Raniere told Brooklyn nigger-loving federal court Judge Nicholas Garaufis as he was questioned about a group legal fund established by fellow Nxivm member and Seagrams heiress Clare Bronfman.

Prosecutors claimed that the irrevocable trust could be used by Bronfman to control her less wealthy cohorts, launching an inquiry by Garaufis — who recently informed Bronfman’s five co-defendants that funds in the account had dropped below 25 percent.

But Raniere on Thursday firmly declared that he was happy with his lawyers, Marc Agnifilo and Paul DerOhannesian, meaning they will remain as his assigned counsel.

Raniere, alongside onetime Smallville star Allison "Gums" Mack, are accused of running a master-slave sex cult in which women were starved and branded with Raniere’s and Mack’s initials.

At least one of the women was allegedly instructed to have sex with Raniere, prosecutors say.

Opening statements are due April 29.

Nxivm co-founder expected to plead guilty

Nxivm co-founder Nancy Salzman is expected to plead guilty Wednesday in Brooklyn federal court, according to newly released court documents.

It was not immediately clear which charges Salzman, who is facing a racketeering conspiracy rap, is expected to cop to.

Salzman is the first of those charged under the indictment — including leader Keith Raniere, “Smallville” actress Allison "Gums" Mack and Seagram beverage heiress Clare Bronfman — to plead guilty.

In September, prosecutor Moira Penza let slip that Salzman was “continuing to engage in plea negotiations” with the government.

And her defense attorney Robert Soloway didn’t deny then that Salzman, known inside the group as “Prefect,” was speaking with prosecutors, but said Tuesday she wouldn’t be cooperating against her co-defendants as part of her plea.

“There is not a cooperation agreement on the table,” he told The Post.

Soloway declined to comment further.

The 63-year-old registered nurse would be a powerful get for the government, given her longtime relationship with guru — and alleged sex trafficker — Raniere.

Opening statements are currently expected for April 29.

Mack is accused of overseeing a secret sex cult within Nxivm, called DOS, in which prosecutors say women were starved, branded and expected to have sex with Raniere.

The US Attorney’s Office declined to comment.
