Roach Arrested For Stabbing Girlfriend, Her Son
LOS ANGELES - A roach is under arrest today accused of fatally stabbing his live-in girlfriend and her teenage son at their Montecito Heights home.
Officers went to 576 E. Avenue 28 just before 9:50 last night and found the victims and the suspect with stab wounds after a family member of the victims called 911.
Carol Bloomfield, 36, died at the scene, and Jonathan Bloomfield, 15, was pronounced dead at a hospital. Investigators say the teen apparently came to the defense of his mother, but was also attacked.
The suspect, Emillio Hererdia, the 39-year-old "common-law husband" of the woman, was booked for murder

His injuries did not require hospitalization.
