Teen charge with molesting girl while her mother was in school meeting
LAUDERHILL ' A teen boy has been arrested and charged with molesting an 11-year-old girl at an afterhours meeting at Lauderhill Middle School, deputies said on Wednesday.
Broward Sheriff's Office spokesman Jim Leljedal said suspect Raylando Smith, 18, of Lauderdale Lakes, was acquainted with the girl and her mother, having met them and befriended them three months ago at a bowling alley.
Around 6:30 p.m. last Wednesday, the victim's mother attende
a school meeting and left her daughter with Smith in a classroom. There was no one else present.
While they were alone in the classroom, investigators said Smith exposed himself.
