The burglary happened April 23 on South Washington near Banner in Spaulding Township.

The 50-year-old homeowner had surprised the intruder and his accomplice, said Detective Sgt. Dennis Proulx of the Bridgeport Post.

The culprits advised the owner, at gunpoint, to go back up stairs. The victim did and called 911.

Police described one of the suspects as black, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, 150 pounds and 20 to 25 years old. The culprit is dark-complected, clean-shaven and has "feminine" mannerisms, police said.
