Suspects sought in gas station holdup
JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP -- Police are looking for two suspects in connection with an armed robbery on Sunday afternoon.
Two men parked half a block from DeLeo's Service Station on state Route 348 in Mount Cobb on Sunday and walked to the station, telling the attendant they ran out of gas, police said.
When the attendant rang up their gallon of gas, the pair brandished a silver revolver, tied the worker up and robbed the cash drawer, police said. The two are believed to have fled east on state Route 348 in a white car with tinted windows.
Police described the first suspect as a black male who was "short and chunky," about 5 feet 6
inches tall, wearing a blue mesh basketball jersey and blue jeans.
The second suspect was also described as a black male about 5 feet 10 inches tall and wearing blue jeans.
