Police: Oklahoma City man arrested on complaints of rape, forcible sodomy
OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
A man is accused of luring a juvenile to his apartment and raping the victim on Sunday.
The victim was walking behind Eley's Foods, 3106 N May Ave, when he was approached by 56-year-old Steve Antwon Ervin.
Ervin allegedly started a conversation and invited the juvenile to his nearby apartment to smoke some marijuana, according to a police report.
The victim trusted Ervin and went with him, because he offered his own weed, per the victim's account to police. Ervin then allegedly told the victim to go to his bedroom and threatened the juvenile with harm if they tried to leave.
Ervin allegedly forced the victim to let him takes photos of the juvenile naked. Ervin was then accused of forcible sodomy and first-degree rape.
The victim went back to the grocery store where he originally met Ervin and called 911.
Police arrested Ervin and booked him into Oklahoma County jail early Monday morning.
