An off-duty FDNY firefighter was arrested Saturday morning for allegedly driving drunk and crashing a car in Brooklyn, police said.
Yusbin Diaz, 32, was busted at 2:30 a.m. and charged with DWI, first offense and driving while his ability was impaired, the NYPD said.
Diaz was operating a 2009 Toyota Camry along Sullivan Place and Rogers Avenue in Crown Heights at 2 a.m. when the episode unfolded, the NYPD said.
The off-duty firefighter “struck a parked car and was taken into custody,” a department spokesman said. The parked car was unoccupied at the time of the crash, police said.
No one was reported injured.
