The 38-year-old man was found shot in the chest just after 10 p.m. Friday in front of 763 58th St. in Sunset Park, police said. He was brought to Lutheran Hospital but did not survive.

About an hour later in Inwood, two women were shot, both in the right thigh, just after 11 p.m. after some sort of dispute with a man who fled westbound on Dyckman Street, polices said. The victims, 38-and 26-years-old, were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital.

Two apparent bystanders were wounded in crossfire early Saturday when three unidentified men on motor scooters opened fire on at least one other man on a moped near 1315 Amsterdam Ave. in Harlem, police said.

Nine people were shot — two fatally — in eight separate incidents as violence soared overnight in the Big Apple, police said Monday.

One of the fatal victims was a 25-year-old man who was killed in a drive-by shooting on 137th Street near 32nd Avenue in Flushing around 7:20 p.m. Sunday, according to cops.

The victim was struck in the head and arm when an unknown suspect opened fire from a black sedan, police said.

It was unclear what sparked the violence.

The victim was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.

The second fatal shooting came around 11 p.m. in Clinton Hill, according to cops.

A 30-year-old man was shot in the back near the corner of Fulton Street and Irving Place, authorities said.

He was taken to the Brooklyn Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead, cops said.

It was not immediately clear what led up to the deadly shooting.

About 50 minutes later, a 52-year-old woman was wounded by a bullet that flew into her home on Coombs Street near 141st Avenue in Jamaica, cops said.

Cops and police sources say a gray Toyota Camry pulled up — and three of the four people inside got out and fired into the home, grazing the woman in the arm.

She was taken to Queens Hospital Center in stable condition.

It was not immediately clear whether she was the intended target or whether that home was specifically targeted.

Back in Brooklyn, a 28-year-old man was shot in the right knee following a dispute inside a building on Hendrix Street near Dumont Avenue in New Lots, around 10:30 p.m., cops said.

The victim was taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect, who lives in the building, remains at large. It was unclear whether the victim lived there as well.

In Bushwick, two men, 21 and 25, appeared to have shot each other during a dispute on Irving Avenue near Stanhope Street in Bushwick around 9 p.m., cops said.

The younger man was shot in the left arm and the older man in the head, police said.

Both were hospitalized in stable condition and are in custody with charges pending, according to police.

Three more people were shot early Monday, according to cops.

Trigger-happy street gangs responsible for nearly a third of all NYC shootings: NYPD

Trigger-happy street gangs are responsible for nearly half the people shot in New York City and a third of all incidents involving gunfire, police data show.

And The Bronx is the top hot spot.

Spurred by a raging battle involving suspected Crips members that erupted last month, the borough has been plagued by turf-war shootouts, which left three teens dead in a five-day span in early July.

“When it comes to gangs, violence begets violence,” said Joseph Giacalone, a John Jay College of Criminal Justice professor and ex-NYPD sergeant.

“There will be no end in sight,” he predicted, noting that last year’s gun violence was close to all-time records. “Wild gun battles erupting on the streets can only lead to innocents being shot. We’ve already seen it.”

Through July 18 this year there have been 981 gunshot victims — in 840 shooting incidents — across the city compared with 846 gunshot victims in 689 incidents last last year, 16 percent and 22 percent spikes, respectively, the NYPD’s sobering statistics show.

A whopping 251 of the 840 gun blasts — 30 percent — are gang motivated, according to the stats. That’s three percent more than last year’s 243 shootings.

The rise is driven by a Wild West gang culture of the 48th Precinct, in the heart of The Bronx, where revenge-crazed pistol packers have no fear of the police, cops say.

They say 11 of 32 shooting incidents there this year are being probed as gang motivated, compared with 10 of 21 such incidents last year.

Top cop Dermot Shea and other police brass have attributed the shootings surge to sweeping bail reform measures that took effect in January 2020.

“No bail, no jail, and no threat of being stopped by the police,” said Giacalone,

Among the bystander victims was Eric Velasquez, 34, who was fatally struck by a stray bullet after a suspected Young Gunnaz gang member allegedly shot blindly into a crowd while on a rival gang’s turf on East 184th Street in Fordham Heights on May 16.

Cops busted 16-year-old Alberto Ramirez, but a judge reduced the accused shooter’s bail and he got sprung.

Two people were killed in seven shootings during yet another bloody night in the Big Apple — including a man murdered in a Queens karaoke bar, cops say.

The 22-year-old man was hit multiple times in the stomach at the K-Show Bar on 138th Street in Flushing just after 1:15 a.m. Friday, according to police. The unidentified victim died at New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Queens.

A 22-year-old woman also was shot in her right hand during the incident at the karaoke bar but is expected to survive.

Cops are still hunting for the gunman.

About three and a half hours later, cops discovered an unresponsive 48-year-old man shot in the face in the Linden Wortman Houses at 250 Wortman Ave. in East New York, authorities said.

The man, whose name was not released pending notification of family, was rushed to Brookdale Hospital, where he died.

Three other shootings were reported early Friday, too — one in the Bronx, another in Queens and the third in Brooklyn.

Just after 1:15 a.m., an unknown gunman shot a 24-year-old man in the left foot outside Leonard Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, cops said. The man was taken to Bellevue Hospital and treated for his injuries.

Thirty minutes later, a 27-year-old man was shot in the stomach during an argument at East Tremont and Walton avenues in Mount Hope in the Bronx, according to police. He was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital and is expected to survive.

Another man was shot in the back and the arm during a fight with three men in their 20s at 129th Street and Liberty Avenue in South Richmond Hill, Queens, just before 4 a.m., police said.

EMS took the 45-year-old injured man to Jamaica Hospital, where he was treated for his wounds.

Meanwhile, at least two other shootings broke out Thursday evening.

A 20-year-old man was shot in his right wrist and right leg at 874 New Lots Ave. in East New York, Brooklyn, around 9:10 p.m. and treated at Brookdale Hospital for non-life-threatening wounds, police said.

About an hour earlier, an unknown gunman also fired off an unknown number of rounds outside 751 Nostrand Ave. in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, but no one was injured in the gun violence, cops said.
