Police have arrested one and seek a second in connection with a home invasion robbery that occurred this past weekend.

At about 9:56 p.m. Sunday, two men broke into a house in the 600 block of Houston Ave., a Hampton police news release said. Once inside, the two men struck a 22-year-old Hampton man in the face with a gun. Two women who were also inside the home, a 19-year-old and a 52-year-old, were not injured.

The two men took prescription medication from the home and as they ran out, several shots were fired inside at the male victim, who was not hit, the news release said.

Police arrested Alverto Lance Fenner, 25, of Hampton, on Wednesday and charged him with four counts of use of a firearm while in the commission of a felony,
one count of robbery, one count of attempted maiming, one count of abduction, one count of breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony and one count of discharging a firearm into an occupied building.

The second man is described as a black male, between the ages of 21 and 26, about 5-foot-11 to 6-foot-2. He was wearing a black shirt and was armed with a handgun, the news release said.
