Brawl At Philadelphia-Area School Leads To 28 Arrests
CHESTER, Pa. -- Police have arrested 28 students at a suburban Philadelphia high school because of a huge brawl in the school's hallways.
Monday afternoon's fight at Chester High School was so big that Chester police had to call for backup from surrounding towns.
Police say the fight broke out near the cafeteria at noon and spread throughout the halls as scores of students from two rival groups joined in.
"The food fight that took place in the cafeteria with two girls, they were removed from the situation. The
olice were called in and they took them out. From there, another fight took place in the cafeteria and they brought it out into the lobby and the gangs became involved in that," said Dominique Taylor, o
f Edison Schools.
School security officers were unable to stop the violence
on their own and called for city police, who in turn sought reinforcements from other police departments. Officers used stinging sprays to subdue some fighting students.
"(There were) gang-related types of situations occurring in certain segments of the school community that spilled over into the school today," said Dr. Dexter Davis, superintendent of schools. PC Codespeak that really means that the brawl involved niggers!!
No serious injuries were reported, but some of the students said that they were bothered by pepper spray in the air. Students were sent home for the day and angry parents came to the school for answers.
"Those other
cops that ran up in there got crazy, so all the kids just scattered. They just started spraying, they just started grabbing kids," said Iris Carrasco, a parent.
"It's scary to t

you've got to send your child to school and they're scared," said Patricia Pless, a parent.
Many students and parents told WCAU-
TV in Philadelphia that Chester High School was a volcano waiting to erupt because the overcrowding is out of control. Two charter schools closed this year, forcing Chester to take the students in.
"It's chaos here, really. Everything is overcrowded. It's like a prison here. You get too many people in here, and stuff like that. Plus, the books is not here. The teachers tell me they only have the curriculum in the computer," said one man.
School officials also said school will reopen on Tuesday and any overcrowding issues will be over Tuesday, as well.

d beast that school is mostly wasted on them. Busing them in from the ghetto only ruins it for the white kids that are trying to learn something. Put them to work in the fields and put a wh
