Keystone United Documentary in the Works

As a part of our growing efforts to educate & organize a much broader cross section of the general public, and to overstep the controlled mass media, we have decided to take part in an independent documentary focusing on the actions of Keystone United. Due to the attention we have received from our appearance on the National Geographic channel and our relentless street activism, we were approached sometime ago by a group of film students, from the Philadelphia area, interested in filming us and our daily activities.
After much deliberation, planning, and coordinating, filming finally began on Saturday January 31st with the first set of i
nterviews conducted from the home of Eastern Pennsylvania’s Regional Director Keith Carney. And on Saturday February 7th filming commenced with extremely limited access being granted to them during the fourth annual Uprise concert held in Central Pennsylvania.
Over the next few months we will be taking them through the streets of Philadelphia and across the state of Pennsylvania, giving the public direct access to the true ideals and activities motivating Pennsylvania’s most progressive and organized resistance network. We will be showing them the various obstacles activists face on a daily basis as well as the numerous sacrifices made by those who choose to openly go against the grain. But most importantly we will be showing them the actual people behind all of the politics & street actions minus the standard sensationalist spins and emotionally charged tag lines. We are looking forward to the final outcome of this film and we will be sure to make it available to everyone as soon as possible.
