One Dead, Another Hospitalized After Henry County Domestic Dispute​

Paris, Tenn.–One person is dead and another is hospitalized after an apparent domestic dispute left them lying in a Henry County roadway this morning.


At 9:40 a.m. today, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call and found two persons bleeding in the road of the 6000 block of Old Paris-Murray Rd. Deputies and the Emergency Medical Services personnel responded.


Upon arrival, Officers determined the two individuals to be Lonzie Dunlap III, 30 years of age, and Kristen D Warren, 39 years of age, both of Henry County.


According to the sheriff’s office press release, Dunlap and Warren were found lying at the rear of a vehicle and appeared to have suffered from apparent gunshot wounds.


They were both airlifted to medical facilities in Nashville.


Lonzie W Dunlap III was pronounced deceased upon arrival in Nashville. The initial investigation has found no evidence of other persons being involved in the incident.


At this time, the incident is believed to be a result of a domestic dispute between Dunlap and Warren. The incident remains under investigation.
