A Brooklyn man accused of fatally shooting another guy at a party after someone stepped on the alleged gunman’s shoe has been arrested, authorities said Tuesday.
Kevin Phillips, 39, was arrested Monday night for the death of Miles Bobbsemple, 31, at the early-morning May 17 party on Remsen Avenue near Avenue A in East Flatbush, cops said.
Another man, 30, was also wounded in the shooting.
The younger man had stepped on the alleged gunman’s shoe — prompting him to open fire at the party, police sources said at the time.
Bobbsemple was blasted in the chest with a stray slug and taken by private means to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

EMS brought the younger victim, who was shot in the back, to the same hospital in stable condition.
Phillips, who lives in the Flatlands section of Brooklyn, was charged with murder, attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
Less than 24 hours later, Bobbsemple’s friend Shalimar Birkett, 21, was killed in a Brooklyn drive-by shooting as she attended a vigil for Bobbsemple, authorities said.
Birkett was struck when someone in a white sedan opened fire into the crowd mourning Bobbsemple, cops said.
No arrests have been made in that case.
