Two men accused of carjacking Polk deputy

Two men were arrested early Monday morning in connection with the carjacking of an off-duty Polk County sheriff's lieutenant.

Derwent L. Palmer, 34, was in the 1400 block of North Kettles Avenue Sunday night talking to a woman when a vehicle pulled up beside him, officials said.

A gunman ordered Palmer out, told him to take off his pants and took his .45-caliber handgun, badge, body armor, pepper spray, gun belt and 2000 Che
y Tahoe, Lakeland Police said.

About 2 a.m. Monday, Tampa police saw the Tahoe parked outside Club XS on Florida Avenue. As officers approached, two armed men jumped out, shoved the officers and ran,

officials said. Police caught them, traced the Tahoe and learned of the carjacking, officials said
.

Raymond L. James Jr., 20, and Samuel Godbolt, 26, both of Plant City, are in custody at the Orient Road Jail, charged with felony grand theft of a motor vehicle, cocaine possession and other charges, records show.

It's too bad these boys didn't want to shoot it out with the cops.

How stupid are n-ggers?? They had to know it was a cop they just jacked because they took his badge and yet they go clubbing later in the car. Too bad indeed they did not shoot it out with the cops. We could do with fewer n-ggers in the world, two would be a good start!!
