PHILTHADELPHIA -- There was chaos on the streets of Philthadelphia Monday night as police pursued a car going at least 70 mph down the streets of Old City.
The chase began on Interstate 95 near Girard Avenue. Police said they spotted a car driving erratically in the southbound lane and tried to pull over the driver.
The Vandalic driver fled and finally came to a stop against a tree near Second and Walnut. The suspect tried to run on all fours but police grabbed him. One officer injured his hand while several officers struggled to apprehend the suspect, police said.
Police said they discovered there were some outstanding narcotics and traffic warrants for the suspect.
