A former White House official who was fired by President Obama for allegedly investigating one of his supporters was struck by a car and killed Friday while crossing the street in on the Upper East Side, cops said.

Gerald Walpin was crossing the street at Lexington Avenue and East 79th Street at around 11 a.m. when an SUV slammed into him, according to police.

The 84-year-old man was taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital, where he died.

Walpin served as inspector general of the Corporation for National and Community Service under President George W. Bush and was held over from by the Obama Administration until his firing in 2009.

He suggested at the time that he was fired because he was critical of a program that received federal money and was run by Obama supporter and former NBA star, Kevin Johnson.

There were no arrests in connection with the accident that led to his death.

It looks like he's yet another one of Obongo's victims--murder for hire.
