Border Patrol agents in Fabens on Wednesday caught a convicted sex offender who was wanted for aggravated robbery in Dallas, agency officials said.
Juan Carlos Martinez Baez, 25, of Aguascalientes, Mexico, and several other people were caught crossing the Rio Grande about seven miles west of the Fabens bridge, just before 9 a.m., officials said. A fingerprint check identified Martinez as a fugitive wanted in Dallas, officials said. Border P
