An elderly man was robbed at gunpoint on Tuesday afternoon.
An intruder entered an unlocked condominium around 1:30 p.m. at Deerhurst Condominiums in Westland and took money from a 70-year-old man, according to the Westland Observer & Eccentric.
The intruder, who police said was armed with a gun, did not fire shots before he fled the area.
Police said the recent intrusion was one of several that have occurred recently, and some of the intrusions involved unlocked doors, according to the Westland Observer & Eccentric.
The intruder is described as a black man, about 35 years old, 6 feet
tall and about 180 pounds, according to police.
Authorities ask anyone with information on the intrusion to call 734-722-9600 or 800-SPEAK-UP.
