(Black) Man charged in Clarksdale triple murder - including pregnant White mother
Duane Lake has been charged with murder for the deaths of Alton Bruce, Candice Roper, and Roper's unborn child. Last week, the victims were found dead inside a home in the 1400 block of King Street. Police said they suffered from apparent gunshot wounds. Lake was originally charged with the taking of a motor vehicle from Alton Bruce, but police said at the time he was a person of interest in the murder investigation. Lake was denied bond on the murder charges. - (Black-on-white)
