MONROE, La. (KNOE) - The suspect wanted in connection with a shooting on Elm Street in Monroe has turned herself in.
According to the Monroe Police Department, Tynedria Meneweather was involved in a shooting targeting several juveniles inside a vehicle. The shooting injured a 14-year-old. Meneweather was booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center on five counts of attempted second-degree murder.
Police are still looking for 19-year-old Terrikiris Smith (a.k.a. Cooter-Roo.) Meneweather’s vehicle and a 2007 red Lexus were also connected with the crime, police said. The red Lexus had Texas temporary tags that read either 15745B1 or 15745R1.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Terrikiris Smith is asked to contact MPD at 318-329-2600 or Crime Stoppers of North Delta at 318-388-CASH(2274). All calls to Crimestoppers are confidential.

MONROE, LA.(KTVE/KARD) — The Monroe Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that occurred just before 7pm on Wednesday June 30.
During the investigation, officers discovered that a vehicle with five occupants was traveling on the 4000 block of Elm Street when a suspect began shooting at them, with a bullet striking a 14-year-old in the back.
The teenage victim was flown to a regional hospital and is listed in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.
Monroe Police Detectives have announced that they are looking for 19-year-old Terrikiris “Cooter-Roo” Smith. A warrant has been issued for Smith’s arrest, and he is being accused of five counts of Attempted 2nd Degree Murder.
According to the report, the suspect was booked into custody today at 8:18 P.M. and has been charged with disturbing the peace/simple assault and second degree murder.
