9 more Australians report blood clots after receiving AstraZeneca vaccine

(Natural News) Australian authorities said nine more people developed blood clots after getting the AstraZeneca coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine. The nine new cases brought the total number of patients who experienced the condition to 27. Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) announced the new cases as the country’s mass vaccination program faces scrutiny.
New South Wales (NSW) recorded two cases — a 60-year-old woman and an 82-year-old woman. Two cases also came from Western Australia – a 72-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman. Queensland reported a 63-year-old man as the latest victim of the adverse reaction, while the state of Victoria confirmed that a 73-year-old woman there developed blood clots.
Three cases from the week prior completed the nine cases of blood clots the TGA confirmed. An 85-year-old woman from NSW and two cases from Victoria – a 62-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman – constituted the earlier blood clot reports. The TGA said that out of the 27 total patients who suffered post-vaccination blood clots, nine patients remain confined, and four require outpatient treatment.
About 3.8 million Australians have received at least one dose of either the Pfizer/BioNTech or the AstraZeneca vaccine, the only two approved vaccine candidates in the country so far. The Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine received provisional approval in January of this year, while AstraZeneca received provisional approval the following month. Only Australians aged 50 and above are allowed to get the AstraZeneca vaccine. Meanwhile, most patients who suffered from the post-vaccination blood clots were over 60 years old.
The TGA said: “We continue to receive reports of side effects [linked] to the AstraZeneca [COVID-19] vaccine as it becomes more widely available in Australia. The reports are generally consistent with what is being observed internationally.” According to the Australian regulator, serious blood clots with a low blood platelet count is “triggered by the immune system’s response to the AstraZeneca vaccine” and “different from other clotting conditions.” The agency nevertheless reassured that it and other regulators worldwide “continue to monitor and investigate this issue.”
AstraZeneca’s serious adverse reaction threw a monkey wrench into Australia’s vaccination program
Australia’s COVID-19 vaccination program hit a roadblock in April after a 48-year-old woman died after being inoculated with the AstraZeneca vaccine. The woman was a resident of NSW’s Lake Macquarie area. The British-made vaccine comprised a huge percentage of the Land Down Under’s vaccination program – but the reports of blood clots have undermined the country’s endeavor.
Canberra has ordered an additional 20 million doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine, but the earliest time they are expected to arrive is October of this year. The country also ordered a few Moderna doses also set to arrive later in the year. Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has been criticized for the slow pace of vaccinations in the country. His critics included Victoria Deputy Premier James Merlino, who slammed Morrison’s government during a May 27 press conference in Melbourne. “This nation’s vaccine rollout has been slower than we have hoped. That is a fact. [If] more people were vaccinated, we might be facing a very different set of circumstances than we are today,” Merlino said.
Meanwhile, the state of Queensland announced it will not offer the AstraZeneca vaccine candidate for COVID-19 inoculations when it establishes vaccine hubs later in the year. The state’s Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said Queensland was planning to set up mass vaccination hubs near the end of 2021. However, she noted that the state will wait for more vaccine doses to arrive before doing so.
“Queensland is a big state, [and] it is so decentralized. [So] much planning is happening at the moment for that final quarter of the year. [When] we have more supply [of] Pfizer [and] Moderna, [vaccination] is going to ramp up – and I know that Queenslanders are going to go out there in droves when we have all that supply ready,” Palaszczuk said. Federal Deputy Chief Medical Officer Michael Kidd acknowledged the blood clots and low platelet count associated with the AstraZeneca vaccine. However, he stressed that the chances of these adverse reactions occurring are “very small.”
Kidd also warned of possible headaches as a side effect of the AstraZeneca vaccine. “People should be particularly alert to severe persistent headaches occurring four to 20 days after vaccination. These are different [from] the usual pattern of headaches,” he said. The deputy chief medical officer advised against using over-the-counter painkillers for them.

NIH Director defends CCP scientists, admits to funding gain-of-function research, shedding more light on Fauci’s perjury

The Hugh Hewitt Show recently interviewed Dr. Francis Collins, the current director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). In the interview, Collins admits to funding gain-of-function coronavirus engineering at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China. He even defended the Chinese scientists and downplayed their connection to the Chinese Communist Party! Collin’s confession further incriminates his colleague and friend, Dr. Anthony Fauci, who is the longstanding director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID).
At a Senate hearing on May 11, 2021, Dr. Anthony Fauci answered questions about gain-of-function research. Fauci repeatedly and authoritatively denied that he and his colleague, Francis Collins, funded the Wuhan lab. Fauci tried to dissociate the NIH and the NIAID from having any connection to coronavirus gain-of-function research, even though the money and research trail was revealed by Senator Rand Paul.
Hugh Hewitt’s latest bombshell interview with Dr. Collins directly contradicts Dr. Fauci’s testimony, shedding more light on Fauci’s recent perjury in front of the U.S. Senate. The interview also implicates Dr. Peter Daszak, who took large grants from the NIH to help facilitate gain-of-function coronavirus engineering in China.
NIH Director admits the U.S. collaborated with the Wuhan lab
Dr. Collins came clean in the interview, admitting that the NIH knows and reviews the work of Chinese scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Collins told Hewitt that the NIH grants require the grantee to report on the progress of their research and detail precisely how the funds are used. “And we require annual reports to see whether that in fact is what they have been doing,” said Collins. “And we trust the grantee to be honest and not deceptive.”
Dr. Collins talked specifically about the grant that was issued to Wuhan through a subcontract from Peter Daszak’s EcoHealth Alliance in New York. Collins said the NIH funded research that “specifically aimed to categorize viruses that they could isolate from bats in Chinese caves.” He said the NIH “had a good reason” to know more about coronaviruses, because SARS and MERS had “come out of there.” This is a stunning claim, that SARS and MERS came out of the Wuhan lab. The first SARS was identified in February 2003 during an outbreak that emerged in China that spread to four other countries. The scientific consensus believes the virus emerged naturally from a bat reservoir, not the Wuhan lab. MERS was first identified in Saudi Arabia in 2012. Scientists believe the virus is derived from infected dromedary camels, not the Wuhan lab. Does Collins have more information that these relatively new and deadly coronaviruses (SARS, MERS) both came from the Wuhan lab?
NIH Director admits the CCP is involved with the Wuhan lab, but defends them
Dr. Collins, Daszak, and Fauci worked directly with “bat lady” Dr. Shi Zhengli. According to press releases by the Wuhan Institute of Virology, this Chinese scientist received awards and grants from the Chinese Communist Party. The Wuhan lab is home to Chinese Communist Party organizations, including a Party Committee, Commission for Discipline Inspection, and Communist Youth League.
An August 2018 report by the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission warned that the Wuhan lab organizes a “United Front Group,” which aims “to co-opt and neutralize sources of potential opposition to the policies and authority of its ruling Chinese Communist Party” and “influence foreign governments and other actors to take actions or adopt positions supportive of Beijing’s preferred policies.” The lab even hosts “communist study sessions” to boost “party spirit.”
In the interview, Collins admits that the CCP is involved in the Wuhan lab, but he defended the CCP and downplayed their influence on coronavirus engineering. “I think you’re demonizing the Wuhan Institute of Virology as it is pure and simple an instrument of the Chinese Communist Party,” Collins said. “There are certainly connections there, but let’s be clear. There are scientists working in that institute who are amongst the best in the world in terms of understanding virology.”
But here’s the problem, Dr. Collins… These Chinese virology experts you speak so highly about, don’t seem to be very forthcoming with their research, and neither does the NIH or the NIAID. China blocked a WHO investigation into the lab, and Dr. Fauci lied about the research for over a year and even perjured himself at a Senate hearing. Dr. Daszak called any lab origin investigation a “conspiracy theory,” bullying scientists to deny any evidence of the lab origin of SARS-CoV-2. Furthermore, these world experts in virology do not seem to have any answers for the suffering taking place around the world, and have only enabled the deployment of engineered spike proteins that are now being translated in human cells, as the next deadly phase of their human immune system experiments ravage the world.

MIT biologist Kevin Esvelt reviewed this paper that was published with financial assistance from Dr. Fauci’s NIH/NIAID and concluded “certain techniques that the researchers used seemed to meet the definition of gain-of-function”

While there's apparently room for interpretation, the NIH's own experts - whom Dr. Fauci said earlier had unanimously rejected the idea that this constituted 'gain of function' research - actually agreed that the opposite was the case.
It's just a reminder that Dr. Fauci and other senior public health officials are prioritizing the protection of "the narrative" over "the science".
As for Dr. Fauci's insistence that a slew of scientists sided with his view that the research to which Paul is referring didn't constitute "gain of function", Jack Posobiec raises an interesting point.

Clashes between Sen. Rand Paul and Dr. Anthony Fauci have become a routine feature of the latter's testimony before the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, which Dr. Fauci is required to provide in accordance with the COVID stimulus legislation.
And on Tuesday, they clashed again after Sen. Paul accused Dr. Fauci of lying to Congress during his May testimony, during which Dr. Fauci claimed the US had never financed gain-of-function projects at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. For those who aren't familiar with the term, 'gain-of-function' research involves making viruses more contagious or deadly in a laboratory.
Sen. Paul started by asking Dr. Fauci if he would like to revise some of his statements about the NIH's research, reminding him that it's a crime to lie to Congress. Here's what was said during the rest of the brief back-and-forth.
"Do you with to retract your statement from May 11 where you claimed that the NIH never funded gain of function research in Wuhan?"
"Senator Paul, I have never lied before the Congress, and I do not retract that statement...this paper you're referring to was judged by qualified staff up and down the chain as not being gain of function."
"You take an animal virus and you increase it's transmissibility to humans, you're saying that's not gain of function?"
"That's correct...and Sen. Paul, I want to say you do not know what you are talking about," Dr. Fauci replied. "I just want to say that officially."
Paul said that during his May 11 testimony, Fauci "stated that the NIH has never and does not now fund gain-of-function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology. And yet, gain-of-function research was done entirely in the Wuhan institute by Doctor Shi [Zhengli] and was funded by the NIH."

When Sen. Paul tried to press the issue, he was chastened by the (Democratic) committee chair, who said she would allow witnesses to come before the committee to respond at a later date.
Without offering any examples to support his claim, Dr. Fauci got the last word by saying "you are implying that what we did was responsible for the deaths of individuals, and I totally resent that...if anybody is lying here it is you."
Dr. Fauci then claimed that the viruses from the paper Paul had cited were "molecularly impossible to result in SARS-CoV-2".

While Dr. Fauci's denial might have sounded convincing on the surface, we of course already know what he said to be false.
As we have previously reported, the Dr. Fauci-led NIH effectively helped finance much of the 'gain of function' research involving bat coronaviruses going on at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Not only has Dr. Fauci argued that 'gain of function' research is 'worth the risk' that a powerful hyper infectious virus might escape and cause an international pandemic. Why not perform this research in the US? Well, because 'gain-of-function' research has been illegal in the US for years
We first noted back in March, the NIH - headed by Fauci - had funded a number of projects that involved WIV scientists, including much of the Wuhan lab's work with bat coronaviruses.
Even the Washington Post has confirmed that the WIV "had openly participated in gain-of-function research in partnership with US universities and institutions" for years under the leadership of Dr. Shi 'Batwoman' Zhengli.
Paul has repeatedly accused Dr. Fauci of using a middle-man - an organization called EcoAlliance, headed by Peter Daszak, the same scientist who led the WHO's team of scientists tasked with 'investigating' the origins of the virus. The money provided to EcoAlliance via the NIH was used mostly to finance research at the WIV conducted by "batwoman" - or Zhengli Shi.
When the US government created obstacles to this research during the Obama years, Dr. Fauci found a workaround.

Multiple Trump administration officials told The Weekend Australian Dr Fauci had not raised the issue of restarting the research funding with senior figures in the White House.
“It kind of just got rammed through,” one official said.
“I think there’s truth in the narrative that the (National Security Council) staff, the president, the White House chief-of-staff, those people were in the dark that he was switching back on the research."
The Weekend Australian has also confirmed that neither Mike Pompeo, the then director of the Central Intelligence Agency, nor National Security Council member Matthew Pottinger, was briefed.
The experiments are also opposed by prominent scientists, including the Cambridge Working Group of 200 researchers which issued a public warning in 2014.
“Accident risks with newly created “potential pandemic pathogens” raise grave new concerns,” the group’s letter read. “Laboratory creation of highly transmissible, novel strains of dangerous viruses, especially but not limited to influenza, poses substantially increased risks.
“An accidental infection in such a setting could trigger outbreaks that would be difficult or impossible to control. Historically, new strains of influenza, once they establish transmission in the human population, have infected a quarter or more of the world’s population within two years."
And Steven Salzberg, of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, in 2015 said the benefits of gain-of-function research were “minimal at best” and they could “far more safely be obtained through other avenues of research".
"I am very concerned that the continuing gain-of-function research on influenza viruses, and more recently on other viruses, presents extremely serious risks to the public health,” he wrote.

Fauci is now blaming unvaccinated Americans for the next new variant.
Dr. Rand Paul filed a criminal referral against Fauci this past weekend.
Dr. Tony Fauci: If you allow the virus to freely circulate because so many people are unvaccinated you give it yet again an opportunity to mutate more and you may wind up with creating a variant that in fact eludes the protection of the vaccine. We are really fortunate that even if this delta variant is a real bad actor in the sense of being highly transmissible, for the most part, the vaccines work very well against it. In particular, protecting you from severe disease leading to hospitalization.

Social media users piled on to Dr. Anthony Fauci for what many felt was a double standard when it comes to what type of gatherings he criticizes.
"No comment from St. Fauci on Obama’s soirée last night with a few hundred of his closest friends - or how about Lollapalooza last week in Chicago," one social media user said in reaction to Fauci's comments critical of the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. "Or, I guess it’s SELECTIVE festivities, because the virus knows, and only attacks those who fit the Dems’ narrative."
The remarks came in response to Fauci's comments expressing concern about South Dakota's upcoming Sturgis Motorcycle Rally on Sunday's "Meet the Press," with host Chuck Todd speculating the rally could become a "super spreader" event.
"I'm very concerned, Chuck, that we're going to see another surge related to that rally," Fauci said.
Fauci admitted that it was "understandable" that people "want to do the kind of things they want to do," though he called on rallygoers to consider their impact on the spread of COVID-19.
"There comes a time when you're dealing with a public health crisis, that could involve you, your family, and everyone else that something supersedes that need to do exactly what you want to do," Fauci said.
But many social media users pointed out that Fauci did not share the same type of concerns when it came to other high-profile events.
"I have come to loathe Fauci. I cannot believe I fell for this fraud for even a minute," one user said. "Lollapalooza: Nothing. Obama birthday party: Nothing. Riding a motorcycle in the free air: SATAN'S DEVIL VIRUS WILL GET YA!"
"Love how you can catch covid only at certain events. Did it disappear last weekend at the Lollapalooza in Chicago & yesterday at Obama's birthday party," another user said. "Why do people still believe anything that comes out of Fauci's mouth?!"
Others argued that with a vaccine widely available, it was time for authorities to stop regulating such gatherings.
"There is a universally available, free vaccine that is 99.999% effective at preventing death," said commentary writer Drew Holden. "The pandemic is over. People need to get back to living."
The annual biker bash has been the subject of media scorn for two consecutive years, causing South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem to defend one of her state's marquee events.
"The media lied about the event for a year," Noem told "Fox & Friends" in May. "They've labeled it as a super-spreader. That was not true. We continuously pushed back. And I'm glad that some of those facts are coming to light. It’s all political. We did testing in that community for weeks afterwards."

Dr. Anthony Fauci on Sunday said the continued spread of COVID among the unvaccinated could lead to a more serious disease.
Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), told viewers of NBC’s “Meet the Press”:
“As we’ve said all along this is fundamentally a pandemic among the unvaccinated. That is proven true … One of the problems … is you don’t want people to get sick and to get hospitalized and to die. That is happening now predominantly — overwhelmingly — among the unvaccinated.”
Fauci told viewers the vaccines “do quite well against Delta particularly in protecting you from severe disease.” But if you “give the virus the chance to continue to change,” he said, “we might get a worse variant and then that will impact not only the unvaccinated, that will impact the vaccinated because that variant could evade the protection of the vaccine.”
Some experts disagree.

In an interview with The Defender, Dr. Robert Malone, inventor of mRNA and DNA vaccines, world-wide expert in RNA technologies and Harvard-trained physician, said there’s an agenda for universal vaccination that is not scientifically sound.
“Tony Fauci is not an epidemiologist,” Malone said. “He does not have an MPH [Masters in Public Health]. He is not trained in this. Moderna is the first vaccine that has ever come out of NIAID that has even come close to licensure.”
Malone said:
“They’ve completely failed to develop an AIDS vaccine. They failed to develop a West Nile vaccine and a Zika vaccine. Every time there’s an outbreak, Fauci goes to Congress and requests a bunch of money to create a vaccine and this is his first big win. They just seem to be dug in that universal vaccination is the only solution.”
According to Malone, Fauci has rolled out the “noble lie.” The noble lie is that we have to reach herd immunity for economic recovery and to minimize death and disability, and these genetic vaccines are the only path available to herd immunity and these genetic vaccines are perfectly safe.
Each of these statements are demonstrably false, Malone said.
OK, time for another one of these. My positions –
1) bioethics require full risk disclosure and free choice. Neither of these are being met.
2) For high risk populations, the risk/benefit ratio for the USA vaccines seem to make sense.
3) We do not know all the risks yet.

The breakthrough crisis really came to a head when The Washington Post obtained and reported on a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) slide deck, Malone said.
According to the leaked CDC data, 15% of those hospitalized for COVID were fully vaccinated as of May. The number was just 3.1% in April.
Malone said the CDC data make it clear that even if we had complete uptake in vaccines and complete masking, at best we can slow the spread of Delta but we can’t stop it.
Malone, who believes death and disability still warrant vaccination in high risk populations, subscribes to Dr. Geert Vanden Bossche’s theory that continued mass vaccination campaigns will enable new, more infectious viral variants.
“Geert Vanden Bossche — I am on board with that now,” Malone said, “That we really shouldn’t be doing universal vaccination because we’re just going to be generating escape mutants.”
Vanden Bossche is a virologist and vaccinologist who worked with GSK Biologicals, Novartis Vaccines, Solvay Biologicals, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s Global Health Discovery team in Seattle and Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization in Geneva.
In March, Vanden Bossche said:
“There can be no doubt that continued mass vaccination campaigns will enable new, more infectious viral variants to become increasingly dominant and ultimately result in a dramatic incline in new cases despite enhanced vaccine coverage rates. There can be no doubt either that this situation will soon lead to complete resistance of circulating variants to the current vaccines.”
He continued:
“A combination of lockdowns and extreme selection pressure on the virus induced by the intense global mass vaccination program might diminish the number of cases, hospitalizations and deaths in the short-term, but ultimately, would induce the creation of more mutants of concern — known as “immune escape.”
This will trigger vaccine companies to further refine vaccines that will add to the selection pressure, producing ever more transmissible and potentially deadly variants.

The CDC’s latest breakthrough numbers, as of Aug. 2, show 7,525 fully vaccinated people with COVID breakthrough cases. Of those, 7,525 people were hospitalized and 1,507 people died.
A breakthrough case refers to anyone who is diagnosed with COVID after being fully vaccinated. A person is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after receiving the second dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna COVID vaccine, or two weeks after receiving the single-dose Johnson & Johnson (J&J) vaccine.

In May, the CDC revised its guidance for reporting breakthrough cases, stating it would count only those cases that result in hospitalization or death. Previously, the agency had included in its breakthrough count anyone who tested positive for COVID.
According to the CDC, the surveillance system for breakthrough cases is passive and relies on voluntary reporting from state health departments, which may not be complete. In addition, some breakthrough cases will not be identified due to lack of testing. This is particularly true in instances of asymptomatic or mild illness, the CDC said.
The Oregon Health Authority released COVID vaccine breakthrough data Aug. 6, recording a total of 4,196 breakthrough cases through July 31.
In July, there were 12,514 total cases of COVID in Oregon with one out of every five (19%) occurring in people who were fully vaccinated, according to the Oregon Health Authority.
About 1 in 10 severe cases of COVID requiring hospitalization or resulting in death occurred in individuals who were vaccinated. Out of 55 COVID related deaths, 9% occurred in individuals who were vaccinated.
According to the Arizona Department of Health Services, 11% of the new COVID cases in July were breakthrough cases — an increase from 5% in May and 8% in June. The state health department said the efficacy of Pfizer and Moderna is about 90%, so the numbers are not unexpected even though the percentage of cases is rising.
New data from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) showed 100 people who had been fully vaccinated died of COVID in the state by the end of July. In about three-quarters of the breakthrough cases, patients reported having underlying conditions, DPH said. The median age of those who died was 82.5 years.
According to a CDC study from Aug. 6, 469 COVID cases were identified among residents of Barnstable County, Massachusetts with 436 cases (74%) occurring in people who were fully vaccinated.
The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) released data held secret for months about which COVID vaccines produced the most breakthrough cases, WBRZ reported.
The data released Friday by LDH after a series of requests from the WBRZ Investigative Unit showed among fully vaccinated people with breakthrough infections and who had severe health outcomes such as hospitalization or death, 41% received Moderna, 52% received Pfizer and 6% received Johnson and Johnson’s COVID vaccine.
LDH reiterated that in its statement: “The number of people who received each type of vaccine is not equal… [so many factors in the data] further cloud any conclusions one can draw from these numbers.”
Between July 22 and July 28, 10% of new cases that week were breakthrough cases. In that same period, 16% of deaths occurred in people who had been vaccinated.
Of 422 people hospitalized in Baton Rouge hospitals as of Aug. 6, 59 were fully vaccinated.

“My bad.”
That’s what Dr. Anthony Fauci, the top U.S. immunologist, had to say after he predicted that the COVID-19 pandemic would not be under control for more than a year and maybe longer.
Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases who served on former President Donald Trump’s White House Coronavirus Task Force and is now President Joe Biden’s chief medical adviser on COVID-19, told NPR on Monday that if enough Americans get vaccinated, the country could “really get some good control over this” by fall or winter 2022.
But later the same day, this time on CNN, Fauci said it won’t take that long.
“Anderson, I have to apologize. When I listened to the tape, I meant to say the spring of 2022, so I did misspeak,” he said. “I didn’t mean the fall — I misspoke. My bad.”
Fauci added that if “the overwhelming majority of the 90 million people who have not been vaccinated” get jabbed, “I hope we can get some good control in the spring of 2022.”
Asked what he meant by “good control,” Fauci said “getting back to a degree of normality,” such as reopening of more “restaurants, theaters, that kind of thing.”
“But again, there’s a big caveat there — this is a very wily virus,” Fauci, once again couching his numbers by saying it could all change again.
“We thought we were going to have that degree of freedom as we got into the fourth of July and the summer. And then along comes a sucker punch with the Delta variant which is extraordinary in its ability to spread from person to person,” he said. “So we hope we’ll be there at the time frame I mentioned, correctly being the spring of 2022, but there’s no guarantee because it’s up to us.”
“If we keep lingering without getting those people vaccinated that should be vaccinated, this thing could linger on, leading to the development of another variant which could complicate things,” Fauci said.
The doctor, 81, has come under fire for flip-flopping.
In June, Fauci took aim at critics, saying his evolving positions were “not a change because I felt like flip-flopping. It was a change because the evidence changed, the data changed.”
Back in March 2020, when the World Health Organization (WHO) claimed COVID-19 was spread mostly by surface transmission, Fauci declared, “There’s no reason to be walking around with a mask.”
“When you’re in the middle of an outbreak, wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better and it might even block a droplet, but it’s not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is,” the doctor said on CBS News.
This past February, Fauci said that wearing two masks is likely more effective than wearing one. “If you have a physical covering with one layer, you put another layer on it, just makes common sense that it likely would be more effective,” Fauci told NBC News.
Fauci said he was right both times. “It isn’t a question of being wrong,” Fauci said. “It’s a question of going with the data as you have, and being humble enough and flexible enough to change with the data.”

Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and top medical adviser to President Joe Biden, said in early September he doesn’t “think it’s smart” to have tens of thousands of people congregating in stadiums to watch football as the COVID-19 pandemic rages on. Many progressives parroted his concern, calling images of huge crowds watching football “terrifying.”
But a review of COVID-19 statistics in the counties and states that hosted some of the biggest games, along with conversations with local health officials, reveals that there’s been little to no linkage between college football and COVID-19 so far this season.
The biggest crowd in week one of college football was found in Ann Arbor, Michigan. More than 109,000 fans gathered in the “Big House” to watch the Michigan Wolverines defeat the Western Michigan Broncos. When the game was played on Sept. 4, the seven-day average of new COVID-19 cases in Washtenaw county, where Ann Arbor is located, was 81.
More than two weeks later, on Sept. 20, the average is 80. Washtenaw County Health Department Public Information Officer Susan Ringler-Cerniglia told the Daily Caller the department had received one report of a non-student COVID-19 case connected to the football game out of the tens of thousands of non-student attendees.
Ringler-Cerniglia said there were at least 35 student cases that were deemed infectious either at the game or right after, but that “many of these were also associated with additional gatherings/events the same day or days.” Furthermore, 95% of University of Michigan students are fully vaccinated.
In Texas, despite the University of Texas and Texas A&M both hosting games on Sept. 4 that drew nearly 190,000 fans between them, the statewide seven-day average of new cases is currently lower than it was on gameday, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Cases in Travis County, home of the Longhorns, are down since Austin hosted more than 91,000 fans, and in A&M’s Brazos County, the growth rate of new cases in unchanged.
“Austin Public Health has not identified any meaningful or notable COVID-19 virus transmission related to attendance to the football games,” a city Public Information Officer told the Daily Caller.
In Blacksburg, Virginia, the Virginia Tech Hokies hosted more than 65,000 fans on Friday night, Sept. 3 for a season-opening win against North Carolina. The growth rate of new COVID-19 cases in Montgomery County, Virginia, has slowed since the game took place.
“New River Health District Epidemiologist Jason Deese indicated there was no significant change in cases in the area related to attending football games,” Virginia Department of Health Public Information Officer Robert Parker told the Daily Caller.

Paul reiterated “We’re calling for an investigation and hearings on this. We’ve been calling for that for months.”
“There has been a great deal of resistance from the Democrat side. Do we not want to know the origin of the virus or to know if it came from a lab? Particularly since this research still goes on.” the Senator further urged.

Responding to Paul, Fauci claimed in an interview with ABC News that “He’s absolutely incorrect. Neither I nor Dr. Francis Collins, the director of the NIH, lied or misled about what we’ve done.”
Fauci further claimed that it is “molecularly impossible for those viruses that were worked on to turn into SARS-CoV-2,” referring to the manipulation in the Chinese labs.

Newly uncovered documents have revealed that EcoHealth Alliance, the Fauci-funded firm that spearheaded the dangerous Gain of Function research in China and helped cover up the lab origins of the COVID-19 virus, has been exposed for pushing to keep relevant Covid-19 sequencing data hidden from the public.
This data was important because it could have helped reveal key data about the origins of Covid by revealing its genetic structure and makeup early on in the pandemic.
According to emails obtained through a FOIA request by non-profit government accountability watchdog ‘U.S. Right to Know,” EcoHealth Alliance President Peter Daszak pushed to hide the sequencing data that was gathered from China as part of the U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID) PREDICT program – a “virus hunting” project that is supposed to track unknown viruses.
In short, Daszak and EcoHealth, which has received hundreds of millions of dollars in U.S. taxpayer funding to genetically manipulate coronaviruses in tandem with Communist China, have been caught covering up Fauci’s gain of function crimes yet again.

Daszak’s unearthed emails, which are from late April 2020, show a conversation between employees of EcoHealth Alliance and Metabiota – a Google-backed US biotechnology company that works with USAID’s PREDICT – on whether or not COVID genetic sequences should be included in a public database.
No surprise – it wasn’t much of a discussion at all.
Hongying Li, an operative with the EcoHealth Alliance, made the initial push to suppress the crucial information. Her justification for the stunning lack of transparency? It might upset EcoHealth’s Communist overlords in China.

What a joke. Keep in mind this is supposedly America’s first line of defense against unknown viruses. Who are they working for again?
Daszak agreed with Li, calling it “very important” to ensure data from the USAID PREDICT program is not shared with the public. He even admits that the cover-up is to avoid a political firestorm over the fact that EcoHealth’s NIH funding for gain of function research had just been terminated.
He even referred to an article in Politico – “Trump cuts U.S. research on bat-human virus transmission over China ties” – to clarify his stance.

Once again, Daszak just proved that public health decisions in the age of Covid are based solely on political calculations.
According to US Right to Know, there were no attachments included with any of the email conversations they uncovered, so the actual sequencing data that was suppressed by Daszak and EcoHealth is still unknown.
EcoHealth, for its part, has denied ever keeping any of the Covid data out of the PREDICT program, but as noted above, they aren’t the most trustworthy group – especially when it comes to the Wu-flu that they helped create.
