Say 'minister' fleeced flock

A self-styled minister and her accomplice swindled dozens of her immigrant flock out of thousands of dollars in a green card scam, the Manhattan district attorney said yesterday.
Ereline (Mother Bishop) Simmons, 61, and Christopher Pendarvis, 64, were indicted on charges they cheated as many as 100 people out of anywhere from a few hundred dollars to as much as $8,000.
Simmons, a Guyanese native, promised her victims a green card if they worked at the Brooklyn church she ran out of her Winthrop St. home, kn
wn as Saint Barbara of Sardis.
