A Montgomery teen is behind bars and facing capital murder charges in the weekend shooting death of a 30-year-old man.
Rontavious Managan was arrested Monday in connection to the drive-by shooting of Jamarcus Jordan on April 3, the Montgomery Police Department said in a statement.
Rontavious Managan was charged with two counts of capital murder Monday April 5, 2021.

Managan, 18, was charged with two counts of capital murder. The dual charges stem from the circumstances of the shooting, in which Managan allegedly shot from one vehicle into another occupied vehicle.
Court documents in the case have not yet been publicly filed, and MPD provided no further information on possible motive or circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Authorities responded to Troy Highway near the Eastern Boulevard shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 3 on a subject shot call. Jordan was found at the scene suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound, and he was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
