16-year-old fatally shot in Brooklyn

A 16-year-old boy was chased down a Brooklyn street and fatally shot on Wednesday night, police and sources said.
The victim, Jaden Turnage, was shot in the chest on Monroe Street near Franklin Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant at about 6:15 p.m., according to the NYPD.
Turnage was taken to Brooklyn Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to cops.
Police did not immediately identify any suspects and no arrests were made by late Wednesday.
Turnage’s death comes a day after another 16-year-old boy, Cahlil Pennington, was shot dead in East New York, Brooklyn.
Pennington was accidentally shot in the head by a pal who was allegedly aiming at another gunman at Pitkin and Miller avenues at about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, police have said.
No arrests have been made in Pennington’s killing.
