It was all a setup.

From Ray Epps – to opening the magnetic doors from the inside – to the dozens of fed operatives in the crowd – to Ginger Gun – to firing flash bombs and gas canisters on unsuspecting grandmas and seniors – to the mass arrests of hundreds of innocent Trump supporters who were waved into the US Capitol.

Now we have the proof that it was all a setup and the entire thing was filmed by a pre-staged camera crew.

On Thursday CNN released never-before-seen footage of Nancy Pelosi and Mitch McConnell inside the US Capitol on January 6, 2021 — the two people who refused to call in the National Guard prior to that day and during the rioting.

CNN on Thursday revealed exclusive footage from January 6 that came directly from Nancy Pelosi's daughter herself. It was hand-selected by the partisan January 6 committee to show the American public on primetime cable television.
There are still 14,000 hours of footage from January 6 that the Department of Justice won't allow the American people to see, presumably because it would damage its ability to prosecute J6 political prisoners in court.

Approximately thirty seconds into CNN's presentation of the Democrat-selected footage, there is a suspect appearance of "mystery man" Ray Epps. Watch:

Standing a top a tower with a commanding view of the rioters and far-right extremists below, there is Ray Epps with a Trump flag in one hand and a cellphone in the other.

The footage was shot by Nancy Pelosi's daughter, Alexandra Pelosi.
The seemingly ubiquitous "mystery man" Ray Epps was not charged for his role in January 6, despite being captured on video the night before attempting to incite protesters to storm the Capitol building.
A Politico report provides an excuse for why the FBI put Epps on the "most wanted list" and then surreptitiously took him off without an arrest — despite similar January 6 cases being prosecuted.

"Epps, who has become the centerpiece of an unsupported GOP claim that the FBI incited the mob that ransacked the Capitol last year, met with the Jan. 6 select committee in November and told them he had no relationship to the FBI or any other federal law enforcement agency," Kyle Cheney reported. "But the meeting was just a precursor to a more-formal transcribed interview this week, said Epps’ lawyer John Blischak."
"Blischak said he expected more details of Epps’ involvement to become public soon thereafter," the Politico report added.
Epps was caught on video coordinating with a protester who was involved in the first attack on Capitol police barricades.
"Epps has kept a low profile since former President Donald Trump's allies began promoting a theory that Epps was a federal agent and helped foment the attack," the Politico report went on. "Their claims stem from videos taken on Jan. 5 showing Epps urging Trump allies to 'go into the Capitol' — an exhortation that some in the crowd quickly booed and responded to with chants accusing Epps of being a 'fed.' Epps quickly added that it should be done 'peacefully'."
Ray Epps was among the very first people to instigate the January 6 riot. He appears to be giving instructions to a clean-cut, athletic young man, who turns out to be Ryan Samsel.
"But Epps did not appear to join in the violence and his lawyer says 'he was never in the Capitol building' — key factors in the Justice Department’s charging decisions," the report adds.
Epps was on an FBI "most wanted list" until he was then quietly scrubbed. On January 8, the FBI field office tweeted out a photo that included a man who appears to be Epps. It seems he can be seen in Photograph #16 at the bottom left of the tweet series.

As Revolver News points out, those suspects who were arrested get an "Arrested" label put underneath their photos. However, Epps' photo was outright deleted from the page.
The report also points out that not only did Epps instruct his "commandos and the crowds at his attention to rush into the Capitol," but he also "assiduously protected cops and law enforcement so no local or federal officers would be harmed during the precision breaches."
You can see this inconsistent behavior in the video below.
The New York Times also seems to have misled readers in an attempt to give Epps cover. On June 30th, the New York Times published a piece entitled Inside the Capitol Riot: An Exclusive Video Investigation. Revolver notes the Times told an outright lie about Ray Epps:

Ray Epps, an Arizona man seen in widely-circulated videos telling Trump supporters on multiple occasions to go into the Capitol, also seemed to have acted on his own.

The claim that Epps "seemed to have acted on his own" is a lie betrayed by the videos themselves, which show him coordinating with others at the Capitol riots.

A number of Republican Congressmen have attempted to get answers about Ray Epps' actual role in January 6.
Rep. Thomas Massie, among other Republican congressional members, has questioned Attorney General Merrick Garland about whether there was any FBI provocation involved in the Jan. 6 riots.

Senator Cruz didn't let up. Jill Sanborn, executive assistant director of the National Security Branch, would not confirm or deny it. "Sir, I cannot answer that question," she said.

Clinton commented on Twitter about a Los Angeles Times article that sought to portray the alleged attacker, 42-year-old David DePape, as a believer in right-leaning conspiracy theories:
“The Republican Party and its mouthpieces now regularly spread hate and deranged conspiracy theories. It is shocking, but not surprising, that violence is the result. As citizens, we must hold them accountable for their words and the actions that follow.”

Hillary Clinton financed and spread the deranged conspiracy theory that Donald Trump was a Russian agent who stole the 2016 presidential election from her while he watched Russian hookers pee on a hotel bed in Moscow that was slept on by Barack Obama.
Clinton is still spreading conspiracy theories, recently appearing in a video in which she accused Republicans of plotting to steal the 2024 elections.

Clinton’s accusation of blaming Republicans for the attack on Paul Pelosi followed Joe Biden in blaming Republicans for the attack. Biden said in Philadelphia Friday night:
“This is despicable. There’s no place in America–there’s too much violence, political violence, too much hatred, too much vitriol. And what makes us think that one party can talk about stolen elections, COVID being a hoax? That it’s all a bunch of lies and not affect people who may not be so well-balanced. What makes us think! That it’s not it’s not going to corrode the political climate?”
Also on Saturday, Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) blamed President Trump for the attack on Paul Pelosi, “Trump is responsible for hundreds of thousands of Covid deaths,the violence of January 6 and the attack on Paul Pelosi. He is a clear and present danger to our Constitution . A cancer on our body politic.. He must be held accountable! NOW! “Before it’s too late.””

Questions Continue to Swirl at Apparent Lack of Security at Pelosi Residence​

Authorities walk back claim of 'unknown' third person who answered the door.

Questions are being asked about the lack of security at Nancy Pelosi’s home after authorities walked back a previous statement that there were three people at the residence, now claiming there were only two – Paul Pelosi and his attacker.

Following the reported hammer attack on Paul Pelosi by 42-year-old culprit David Depape, police initially said that a third “unknown” person opened the door when they arrived at the scene.


“Officers arrived at the house, knocked on the front door and were let inside by an unknown person. They discovered Depape and Pelosi struggling for a hammer,” reported Politico.

After questions started to swirl about who this unknown person was and why they didn’t try to help Pelosi fend off the attacker, police changed the story.

The SFPD also says that there were only TWO people inside the Pelosi home (Paul Pelosi and DePape) when they responded, clarifying statements made at Friday’s press conference which seemed to indicate there was a third person inside the home who opened the door.,” reported NBC News’ Tom Winter.

Authorities are also now denying that Pelosi and Depape knew each other, despite an initial 911 dispatch call claiming that Pelosi had referred the the suspect as a “friend.”

Observers remain skeptical at the total lack of security apparently present at the home of the person who is third in line for the presidency.

Harmeet K. Dhillon also highlighted the lack of security, given there has been a heavy presence there in the past.

“My firm served a lawsuit against Paul Pelosi one time in SF after attempting to serve at other residences—Napa, Georgetown. They weren’t home, but staff were, & multiple law enforcement officers were on the perimeter. Break-in is odd given this level of security,” tweeted Dhillon.

Glenn Greenwald demanded to know, “How someone broke into the home of one of the richest and most powerful families without setting off an alarm.”

As we explore in the video below, there are other questions surrounding the circumstances of the attack, which occurred little more than a week before the mid-terms at the end of October, which is normally the window for such ‘surprises’ to have a potential impact on the vote.

The culprit reportedly said he was looking for Nancy Pelosi, but turned up to carry out what was presumably a violent attack on her in his underwear.

Everybody was stunned on Friday morning when news broke that the 82 year old husband of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi had been assaulted inside of his home early in the morning with a hammer.
The shock and awe grew after it seemed to become clear that the assailant was looking for the Speaker of the House herself - the third in line to the Presidency.
An assailant broke into the home and asked "Where's Nancy? Where's Nancy?”, according to NBC in the Bay Area.
San Francisco police Chief Bill Scott called it an “intentional” attack:

"This was not a random attack. This was intentional. And it's wrong. Our elected officials are here to do the business of their cities, their counties, and their states, and this nation. Their families don't sign up for this -- to be harmed. And it's wrong."

As such, DePape is now facing charges of attempted murder and other felonies.
I wholly condemn the attack, as I do all violence (especially political violence).
“This is an outrage and our hearts are with the entire Pelosi family. ⁦We pray Paul will make a full recovery,” former VP Mike Pence Tweeted this weekend.
And though I am hardly a fan of Ted Cruz, I think he said it best when he wrote on Twitter this weekend:

“We can have our political differences, but violence is always wrong & unacceptable.”

It is not in any way in dispute that Pelosi was attacked violently and wound up in the hospital as a result of his injuries.
It is also not in dispute that 911 was called and dispatcher Heather Grimes had the intuition to order a wellness check at the household based on what she heard. Her intuition may very well have saved Pelosi’s life, and she should be commended for it.
Politicians on the left wasted absolutely no time attributing the Pelosi attack to “The Republican Party” and “far right white nationalists”.
And, as Glenn Greenwald writes on Sunday morning, it’s “very possible that the instantly formed media narrative…will be proven true”.
For example, Hillary Clinton said on Saturday:

“The Republican Party and its mouthpieces now regularly spread hate and deranged conspiracy theories. It is shocking, but not surprising, that violence is the result. As citizens, we must hold them accountable for their words and the actions that follow.”

Rep. Ilhan Omar Tweeted out on Saturday that the attacker, DePape, was a “far right white nationalist”:

“A far right white nationalist tried to assassinate the Speaker of the House and almost killed her husband a year after violent insurrectionists tried to find her and kill her in the Capitol, and the Republican Party’s response is to either ignore it or belittle it.”

President Joe Biden, with seemingly little to no evidence, attributed the attack to 2020 election deniers

“You can’t just say, feel badly about the violence, we condemn it. Condemn what produces the violence.
This talk produces the violence. The generic point I want to make is it’s one thing to condemn the violence but you can’t condemn the violence unless you condemn those people who continue to argue the election was not real, that it’s being stolen.”

While these politicians may ultimately prove to be right, it’s worth noting that there are some basic journalistic gaps in the story that need to be answered.

The first question we are left to wonder is the obvious: what was DePape’s true motivation?​

Both sides in the media have painted the assailant in different lights. For example, Politico wrote that “he subscribed to the discredited narrative that the 2020 presidential election was illegitimate and espoused a range of bigoted and radical beliefs. He expressed anti-Semitic views and appeared to embrace the QAnon movement, which posits a secret cabal of pedophiles has been protected by people in power.”
But then there was this NY Post opinion piece (and Substack post) by Michael Shellenberger, which noted that “DePape lived with a notorious local nudist in a Berkeley home, complete with a Black Lives Matter sign in the window and an LGBT rainbow flag, emblazoned with a marijuana symbol, hanging from a tree”.

DePape’s neighbors said of him:

“What I know about the family is that they’re very radical activists. They seem very left. They are all about the Black Lives Matter movement. Gay pride. But they’re very detached from reality. They have called the cops on several of the neighbors, including us, claiming that we are plotting against them. It’s really weird to see that they are willing to be so aggressive toward somebody else who is also a lefty.”

Finally, on Sunday it was reported that DePape’s ex and purported former life partner Oxane Taub, told Fox News that he used to be left-leaning:

"When I met him, he was only 20 years old , and he didn't have any experience in politics, and he was very much in alignment with my views, and I've always been very progressive. I absolutely admire Nancy Pelosi."

Possible explanation: It is possible that these leaders on the left are correct. There is also the possibility that DePape’s mental faculties were lacking - or that something entirely different was taking place. We should know when DePape enters his defense what his side of the story is.

The second question is: who is the unidentified person that let law enforcement into the home the morning of the break-in?​

Politico reported early this weekend that there was apparently a third person in the home at the time of the incident:

David DePape forced his way into the home through a back entrance, Scott said. Officers arrived at the house, knocked on the front door and were let inside by an unknown person. They discovered DePape and Pelosi struggling for a hammer, and after they instructed them to drop the weapon, Scott said, DePape took the hammer and “violently attacked” Pelosi.

Possible explanation: Was it a housekeeper? Live-in staff? Body cam footage should make this clear.

A third question relates to whether or not it is normal for glass to be on the outside of the home due to a forced entry into the home.​

It was reported that the suspect, not law enforcement, entered through the sliding glass door. ABC News wrote:

“The break in at Nancy Pelosi’s house is suspected to be targeted, law enforcement sources tell ABC News. The suspect allegedly entered the house through a sliding glass door, carrying a hammer, and was apparently looking for the House Speaker herself.”

Putting aside that these appear to be french doors, and not sliding glass doors, one must then ask if this is the point of entry in question.
The opinion of D. W. Wilber, who has “over thirty years of experience in Security and Counterterrorism as a former Intelligence Officer serving with the Central Intelligence Agency and the Department of Defense in Eastern and Western Europe, the Middle East, and law enforcement,” was that the glass on the outside of the door was an anomaly.
"As a cop for 11 yrs in St. Louis I never once worked a burglary where the broken glass and debris at the entry point was OUTSIDE the residence," he wrote on Twitter.
Possible explanation: Perhaps these weren’t the doors in question during the attack, or perhaps the door was broken from the inside out during the struggle and was not the point of entry.

Which brings us to the fourth unanswered question, which was whether or not there was security in, or around, the house the night of the incident.​

Lawyer Harmeet K. Dhillion wrote on Twitter this weekend that there were “multiple law enforcement officers” on the perimeter of Pelosi’s home when they tried to serve a lawsuit there.
“My firm served a lawsuit against Paul Pelosi one time in SF after attempting to serve at other residences—Napa, Georgetown. They weren’t home, but staff were, & multiple law enforcement officers were on the perimeter. Break-in is odd given this level of security."
Possible explanation: Is it possible there was no security because Nancy Pelosi wasn’t on the premises?

And as Glenn Greenwald pointed out this weekend, there’s also the fifth question of how Paul Pelosi was able to take a bathroom break in the midst of an attack.​

Greenwald is right when he says it “requires more scrutiny” after Politico reported that Pelosi told the intruder “he had to go use the bathroom” in the midst of the break-in. From there, Pelosi was apparently able to dial 911 from a phone that he had left charging…in the bathroom.

Possible explanation: Your guess is as good as mine.

The very same Politico article that pointed out the bathroom break also noted that the 911 dispatcher thought there was “something more to [the 911 call]”.

You can listen to the call here and decide for yourself. Was Pelosi speaking in code to try and get a message to the operator - and not DePape - that he was in distress?
Or, when the operator said there was “something more” to the call, was she referring to something else?
There’s a good chance the media and politicians are right and this attack was an abhorrent, politically motivated violent act and, again, I strongly condemn violence of all types, especially political violence.
But there are also several gaping holes in the story that I think good ole’ fashioned journalism - and probably some police body camera footage - will shed some much needed light on.
I’ll leave you with a quote from Elon Musk, who noted on Sunday morning in response to Hillary Clinton that there’s “a tiny possibility there might be more to this story than meets the eye”.
We’ll just have to wait and see.

Nancy Pelosi's former neighbor is questioning why a violent home invasion triggered no alarms – as security experts condemn the apparent ease with which David DePape broke in, and predict federal protections will be extended to her family.
Residents of tony Broadway Street in San Francisco are used to fleets of black SUVs surrounding the Speaker's red brick mansion 24/7, a heavy police response to any disturbances, and even their computers getting scrambled by alleged security measures to protect the nation's Number Three.
So when Marjorie Campbell read that her old neighbor had to call 911 himself while negotiating with a hammer-wielding madman, she was deeply perplexed.
'There were black cars outside that house, particularly up on Normandie Terrace, all of the time,' the 66-year-old, who lived opposite the Pelosis for a decade, told DailyMail.com.
'I don't distinguish between her being there and not being there. There were always multiple cars.'
Police statements and the criminal complaint against David DePape, 42, released Monday suggest that he broke in by smashing a back patio door. He confronted Paul Pelosi Sr., who phoned police and tried to talk down the crazed man. When cops burst in, DePape slugged Pelosi Sr. with a hammer.
'Everybody in the neighborhood had alarms on our windows,' the former neighbor said. 'So if glass smashed, an alarm went off. We all had alarms that had chimed if the door opened or closed.'

The mysterious attack early Friday morning has left residents with a long list of questions – some of which are slowly being answered by law enforcement, and others which still leave even top private security experts scratching their heads.
Gavin DeBecker ran Jeff Bezos' security and is widely regarded as one of the nation's authorities on protection of public figures.
He was surprised there appeared to be 'no security' on the house – though pointed out that federal protection currently only applies to Nancy herself, and she was out of town at the time.
'There is absolutely no security assigned to the Pelosi house. There is security provided by the US Capitol Police for the Speaker of the House personally, with her when she travels or appears publicly, but no security is provided for spouses or family of members of Congress. So, there was no security to get around.
'I don't know if a security system was on or not, but it appears not.'
DeBecker said the Pelosis' taxpayer-paid protection could be beefed up as a result of the attack, adding that the multi-millionaires could also afford their own private detail.

'I think it is likely that Paul Pelosi will receive some official protection for a time,' he told DailyMail.com. 'They also have the ability to hire security on their own, by which I mean they have the financial ability.'

He slammed the 'unacceptable security planning' including 'poor physical security on premises as well as procedures in case of a threat or attack' and a 'lack of security technology, i.e. cameras and infrared motion detectors.'
'There was a recent alert by NYPD that politicians were likely to be targeted, and yet nothing was done to secure her house, even though she was not there,' he said.

'There's a general failure to adapt to the new norm: right wing terrorism in the US. I feel we are going to experience the emergence of more vigilance. Reactive management will include more protection for congressional leadership and their families.
'The key is to assess the situation and provide protection to the family members as well.'
Campbell, who now lives in Utah, recalled private security and police responding nearly instantly to anything untoward on the two blocks of Broadway Street near Pelosi's home.
'My daughter came home from a Christmas dance one year. It had got through the entire event that she was having a party. So we had cars descend on that block. We had cars just coming from both directions and parking and lining up at the back gate.
'Within 10 minutes, there were police everywhere,' she said.
Campbell said that when protesters from women's antiwar group Code Pink camped outside the Speaker's house 'that whole situation was being watched like a hawk'.
'It didn't take too long before the curb that runs down Broadway right in front of her house was painted red. The protesters were not allowed to protest where the curb was red. So you know that they [Pelosi's security] were all over that,' she said.

'There is absolutely no security assigned to the Pelosi house. 'We had a computer in our kitchen that just didn't work on the internet very well. And I was told that because of the level of monitoring equipment at that residence,' she said.
'There was monitoring equipment to make sure that residents couldn't be spied on remotely from any place in the neighborhood, which involved something that interfered with our computer.'
Campbell recalled eating with her family at their local restaurant, Jackson Fillmore, one night when the place was taken over by bodyguards.
'This entire security detail came in because the Pelosis wanted to eat dinner there. There were three or four black cars outside, a huge detail.
'When she was there, there certainly was a huge presence. And my impression was that the house was constantly monitored.'

NBC Reveals Paul Pelosi Answered Door When Police Knocked, Walked Back Inside Toward ‘Assailant’ And ‘Away from Police’​

Pelosi answered door for police, did not alert them of emergency, but instead went back inside home where assailant was.

NBC later deleted video report claiming it did not meet their 'reporting standards.'

A report by NBC Friday revealed bizarre new details in the Paul Pelosi attack story, including claims Pelosi answered the door for police and did not alert them to an emergency situation, but instead went back inside the home where the assailant was.

“…NBC learning new details about the moment police arrived,” reported NBC correspondent Miguel Almaguer. “Sources familiar with what unfolded in the Pelosi residence now revealing when officers responded to the high-priority call they were seemingly unaware they’d been called to the home of the Speaker of the House.”

Almaguer continued: “After a knock and announce the front door was opened by Mr. Pelosi. The 82-year-old did not immediately declare an emergency or try to leave his home, but instead began walking several feet back into the foyer toward the assailant and away from police. It’s unclear whether the 82-year-old was already injured or what his mental state was, say sources.”

“According to court documents, when the officer asked what was going on, defendant smiled and said, ‘Everything’s good,’ but instantaneously a struggle ensued as police clearly saw David DePape strike Paul Pelosi in the head with a hammer.”

“After tackling the suspect, officers rushed to Mr. Pelosi who was lying in a pool of blood.”

Pelosi returned back to his home Thursday, six days after the attack, after supposedly being critically injured and requiring surgery for a skull fracture.

NBC’s report certainly raises several questions, as noted by HotAir.com:

For instance, why would Pelosi have walked back toward DePape after opening the door to the police? Why not tell them he was in danger? NBC provides a couple of speculative opinions to answer the obvious question this report raises, but without any factual substantiation. They bring in a former FBI analyst to essentially claim that fear makes people do strange things, which may be true but still leaves the conclusion that it was a strange thing to do. The easiest thing to do would have been to walk the other way and tell officers of the danger inside. That would be even more true in the case of an intruder than, say, a domestic-violence situation, where the “fear makes you do strange things” explanation might apply more.

After a version of the video hosted on NBC’s Today Show Twitter account began receiving attention Friday, NBC deleted the tweet containing the video report. The video was also removed from an article on NBC’s website with an editor’s note saying, “The piece should not have aired because it did not meet NBC News reporting standards.”

DePape pleaded not guilty to state charges during an arraignment in San Francisco Tuesday.

Surveillance and police body cam footage would certainly help the public understand the situation, however, San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins only members of the Pelosi family would be allowed to see it for the time being.

“For us, revealing that evidence through the media is just not what we think is appropriate. We want to make sure that this individual is held accountable for these egregious acts. For us, we’re going to make sure that we limit the evidence as much as possible in order to get that done,” Jenkins told CNN Thursday.

Despite details of the strange incident still not being fully released, Joe Biden used the alleged attack as ammo during a speech Wednesday to deride “Extreme MAGA Republicans” as threats to democracy.
