Police searching for 13-year-old wanted in connection to LaGrange murder​

LAGRANGE, Ga. — Police are searching for a 13-year-old boy they say shot and killed a 20-year-old man earlier this month.
Investigators said they were called out to a shooting near McGregor and Colquitt streets in LaGrange on April 9.
When officers got to the scene, they said they found Davaris Lindsey suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He died two days later from his injuries.

The LaGrange Police Department said it has issued arrest warrants for Jayden Gunsby, 13, for murder. The warrant states that he will be charged as an adult.

They are currently searching for the teen’s whereabouts.

A 13-year-old has been taken into custody for allegedly shooting and killing a 20-year-old man on April 9th.
The shooting, which occurred on Easter Sunday, was one of several incidents in Georgia that day.
Davaris Lindsey was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds at the scene near McGregor and Colquitt streets in LaGrange, prompting police response. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries two days later.

Jayden Gunsby, who is only 13 years old, has been issued an arrest warrant for murder by the LaGrange Police Department. According to the warrant, he will be charged as an adult.

After the police put out an alert for Gunsby on Monday, he was apprehended by the LaGrange police shortly after 11 p.m. that same day.
Although the police are searching for another suspect in the case, they have not released any further information about this individual.
