Mahound as he is known in the Koran most likely never existed as such. His real name was said to be Ubul Kassim.
Mecca was a small town filled with idols which included allah, al-lat, al-uzza and manat along with other devils. If Mahound really existed, then he was a child rapist since he "married" a 6 year old girl whose name was said to be Aisha. Islam is built on falsehoods, nothing more. If Mahound really got some kind of revelation, it was from the 'angel' Lucifer/satan.
