CINCINNATI — Former Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones has been arrested again, charged with misdemeanor assault in Hamilton County.
The 37-year-old was arrested Monday morning, accused of beating another person until he was unconscious.
The details surrounding the alleged assault remain unclear. Jones is scheduled to appear before a judge Monday.
Jones retired from the NFL in 2019.
Jones, a one-time Pro Bowler, spent eight seasons with the Bengals. He also played for the Tennessee Titans, Dallas Cowboys and part of the season with the Denver Broncos after his stint in Cincinnati.
Jones has been the subject of many off-the-field legal problems over the course of his career.
In 2019, Jones pled guilty to cheating following an incident at Rising Star Casino. Video shows the former cornerback inside the casino, allegedly attempting to alter bets after they had been made.
In 2017, he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge after a confrontation with hotel security personnel and an obscenity-filled tirade against arresting police officers.
In 2013, Jones was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct during a traffic stop. In 2011, he was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after an incident at a Cincinnati nightclub. In 2007, Jones was involved in a shooting at a Las Vegas nightclub. Three victims were injured. He was ordered to pay $12.4 million.
