An elderly man was slammed to the ground by an attacker at a Lower Manhattan subway stop Friday, cops said.
The 89-year-old was at the W. Houston Street subway stop just before 3:30 p.m. when the cruel creep randomly picked him up and tossed him to the ground, according to police.
The victim was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital, where he was in stable condition.
A crossing guard at Varrick and W. Houston streets said she spotted the victim walking topside, holding his shoulder.
“He was conscious because he walked out and he was holding on to the shoulder,” she told The Post.
Another elderly person was also attacked in Queens Friday afternoon.
The 86-year-old woman was shoved to the ground at 34-07 Astoria Blvd. and was treated for a cut on her head, cops said.
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital for minor injuries, cops said.
Both suspects were in the wind.
