Adults distract employees while children steal merchandise

Two adults who Davenport police say distracted store employees while two children stole merchandise have been arrested.
Camesha Patrice Anderson, 30, and Timothy Dale, 35, both of Davenport, were charged with fourth-degree theft and using juveniles to commit an offense.
Police say Anderson's eight- and ten-year-old children put $370 worth of merchandise in a JC Penney bag they brought into the store while the adults distracted employees.
Dale also was charged with interference with official acts after he ran away when he was approached by police.
Anderson is being held at Scott County jail under almost $15,000 bond. Dale also is being at the jail about
the same amount of bond.
