PINE BLUFF, Ark. – Police in Pine Bluff arrested a 21-year-old man Wednesday in connection to a deadly Tuesday night shooting.
Officials with the Pine Bluff Police Department said Kavon Bledsoe was taken into custody in connection to the shooting that left two people dead and two others injured.
Bledsoe has been booked on two counts of capital murder, two counts of battery in the first degree, on count of terroristic act and one count of tampering with evidence.
Authorities said officers responded to reports of shots fired at Sunset Village Apartments at 2611 W. 34th Street Tuesday just before 9:00 p.m.

According to police, when officers arrived at the parking lot, they found one woman in the front seat of a gray car and another young woman and teen boy in the back seat, all with gunshot wounds. Both victims in the backseat were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the woman in the front seat was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, noting that her condition is unknown at this time. Police said another man fled the scene and was found about a block away with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
