Authorities on Thursday arrested three St. Louis men accused of killing a man in southeastern Kansas.


The three men — Kevin Quinn, 37, Aquan Quinn, 20, and Kevin Martin, 23, — are accused in the October shooting death of Jason York. York was killed about 350 miles away in Independence, Kansas, according to the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.



All three face charges of first-degree murder and aggravated robbery in the shooting death of York, according to the KBI.


Warrants were served by the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Marshals Service.


All three were being held in St. Louis County Jail as of Thursday.


The charges were brought by the Montgomery County Attorney’s Office.


The KBI continued to investigate the case Thursday.

St. Louis men charged in Southeast Kansas murder case​

INDEPENDENCE, Kan. — Three St. Louis men are arrested for the 2023 death of an Independence, Kansas man.
Today, the U.S. Marshals Service and St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Kevin Quinn, 20-year-old Aquan Quinn, and 23-year-old Kevin Martin — all from St. Louis — for the murder of 37-year-old Jason York.

Officers say they were called to the 1100 block of West Cedar Street in Independence, after receiving a call from someone who reported gunshots at a residence.
When police arrived on the scene, they found York inside a home suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
All three men have been arrested for first degree murder and aggravated robbery.
They’ve been booked into the St. Louis County Jail and await extradition to Kansas.

The 3 blacks planned then traveled from St. Louis to Kansas to get in and get out then get far away from their crime location before Jason York's body was found.

They were caught.
