One faith leader said our nation must 'address the moral decay and brokenness plaguing our culture

Pastors and conservative leaders weighed in on reaction by journalists and entertainers who have mocked prayer and brought attention to Tennessee's drag show ban amid the Christian elementary school massacre that took six lives Monday.
As the nation grapples with the murders of three adults and three children at the Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee, faith leaders responded to the criticism by journalists, commentators, entertainers and activists who have mocked prayer and blamed conservatives for outlawing drag shows for kids and not guns.
Family Research Council President Tony Perkins reiterated that people should still turn to prayer as a way to combat the "spiritual battle" that "is raging for our country and our culture" which "is targeting our children."
"We must return to the only lasting source of hope and freedom – the Lord Jesus Christ," he added. "The Church must stand uncompromisingly upon the truth of God’s word, which is the source of hope and freedom. Nothing Washington is doing will matter until we acknowledge and address the moral decay and brokenness plaguing our culture."
SCHOOL SHOOTING IN NASHVILLE: ‘AS A NATION, WE CAN DO BETTER,’ FAITH LEADER INSISTS
Covenant Presbyterian senior pastor Chad Scruggs lost his 9-year-old daughter, Hallie, during the massacre Monday. Two other 9-year-old students, Evelyn Dieckhaus and William Kinney, as well as school janitor and father of 8 Michael Hill, the head of the school Katherine Koonce and substitute teacher Cynthia Peak were also killed during the attack.
Curtis Houck of the right-leaning Media Research Center, who practices the same Presbyterian faith as the school, said the coverage had been "horrendous."
"The media coverage is absolutely tainted by the facts of the case with both the location and victims being outside what one could view as the traditionally liberal, secular world in which much of the journalism profession operates. So, there’s already a bias and lack of both compassion and knowledge about the victims of this school run by a church in the right-leaning denomination, the Presbyterian Church in America," he told Fox News Digital. "But along with the proximity bias, the coverage has been horrendous on account of the fact that the victims represent the kind of worldview that the left views as backward and hateful and whose very existence contributes to the suffering of groups they hold dear — supporters of abortion, the LGBTQ community, traditional views on sex, etc."

The shooter, who was killed at the scene during a shootout with responding officers, has been identified as former student Audrey Hale, who also identified as transgender.
Despite the tragedy and loss of life, many public figures have criticized conservatives and Christians for their faith and prayer.
"As a nation, we owe these families more than our prayers. We owe them action," President Biden said during a speech addressing the shooting Tuesday.
Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee, R., tweeted that he was "closely monitoring" the tragic situation at Covenant on Monday, asking people to "please join us in praying for the school, congregation & Nashville community."
Associated Press reporter Kimberlee Kruesi criticized Lee, who in 2019 "said he believed if Tennesseans prayed to God to favor the state - specifically mentioning school shootings - God would answer those prayers. Ever since, Lee has resisted calls to strengthen gun control laws - a common theme in TN."
"If thoughts and prayers alone worked to stop gun violence, there wouldn't have been a shooting at a Christian elementary school," It's your actions - including weakening the state's gun laws - that's killing kids in Tennessee. SHAME ON YOU. Covenant School," Gun control activist Shannon Watts of Moms Demand Action tweeted in response to Lee's call for prayers.
Left-wing sports writer Mike Wise responded in agreement to one Twitter user who said, "I don't condone Audrey Hale's actions, though I understand their outrage against an intolerant state that brainwashes children through religious indoctrination. The reality is this human still identified as that child attending that school and carried that pain into adulthood."
NASHVILLE SHOOTER FELT ‘NO OTHER EFFECTIVE WAY TO BE SEEN,’ RADICAL TRANS GROUP SAYS
"This is as deep and real as it gets. Thank you," Wise tweeted in response.
Progressive talk show host David Pakman mocked the Covenant School community for not "praying enough."
"Very surprising that there would be a mass shooting at a Christian school, given that lack of prayer is often blamed for these horrible events," he wrote in a since-deleted tweet. "Is it possible they weren't praying enough, or correctly, despite being a Christian school?"
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, R., called out those who said "thoughts & prayers aren’t enough."
"The Covenant School shooting was horrific," he tweeted. "For everyone who says ‘thoughts & prayers aren’t enough,’ I AGREE. Ask why EVERY SINGLE SENATE DEM voted against my bill doubling police officers in school. One armed officer could have stopped this lunatic, BEFORE a child was killed."

Television show writer Lee Aronsohn scoffed at prayer and criticized Tennessee's recent legislation passed this month that bans drag shows on public property and near schools.
"Dead, Maimed Children = Thoughts & Prayers™ Drag Queen Story Hour = Impassioned Condemnation and Priority Legislation,"he tweeted. "The thing is, If we gave an assault rifle to every drag queen the GOP would make Story Hour a national holiday."
Several others slammed the state for banning drag shows and gender-affirming care for children instead of guns.
"Drag shows and gender-affirming care for minors were banned in Tennessee this month, while assault weapons remain legal," Newsweek tweeted.
"Thank god Tennessee protected the children from the so-called horrors of drag and gender affirming care so they can be shot up at school by an AR-15 instead," civil rights attorney and Harvard law clinical instructor Alejandra Caraballo said in a since limited tweet.
Houck said "subtle smears" had marked the press coverage, such as ABC's Terry Moran noting the "state of Tennessee earlier this month passed and the governor signed a bill that banned transgender medical care for minors."
"If this had been a MAGA-hat-wearing Trump supporter murdering three children and three adults inside a mosque, the media coverage would be teeming with stories making broad generalizations about Christians and conservatives, suggesting they’re a danger to the rest of the country and should be thought of as such," Houck said.
Despite the criticism, many faith leaders and Christians have stayed strong in their resolve that prayer is the path forward to deal with the pain surrounding the tragic event.
"Prayers to the victims families of the Nashville Christian school shooting," Fox News political analyst and podcast host Gianno Caldwell tweeted. "There is an attack on our faith and our children which MUST come to an end."
REX ENGELBERT AND MICHAEL COLLAZO: WHO ARE THE NASHVILLE OFFICERS WHO TOOK DOWN COVENANT SCHOOL SHOOTER?
Christian singer Lauren Daigle held a prayer vigil for the shooting victims in Nashville Monday night instead of her previously scheduled concert.
"Today’s shooting is truly heartbreaking for our Nashville community and all of those impacted. I’m going to postpone my performance tonight, and in its place, host a community-wide Prayer Vigil," the star shared on Instagram. "To everyone who was planning to come out, please continue to come join us as we share in a time of prayer and worship to honor the victims and everyone in need."
"To those in the local Nashville area, if you need a safe place to come pray, mourn, and be with your community, please join us. The doors are open for all. Same location. Same time. With all my love and support, Lauren Daigle," she wrote.

The Covenant School issued a statement on Monday asking for "privacy as our community grapples with this terrible tragedy- for our students, parents, faculty and staff."
As law enforcement conducts its investigation, the school noted they understand there will be a lot of interest, discussion and speculation around what happened, but stated they will continue to prioritize the well-being of their community.
"Our community is heartbroken," the statement said. "We are grieving tremendous loss and are in shock coming out of the terror that shattered our school and church. We are focused on loving our students, our families, our faculty and staff and beginning the process of healing."

In the aftermath of the horrific Nashville transgender school shooting, most Americans are still trying to process what happened.
Why did a 28-year-old woman, who identified as a man, shoot her way into a Christian school filled with young children and then proceed to murder three innocent 9-year-old kids in cold blood and three adults in their 60s?

The shooter, Audrey Hale, was killed on scene by fast-acting police officers.
We know that Audrey attended the Christian school at one time, so was her motive revenge?
Mental illness?
Left-wing indoctrination?
Trans hormones?
All of the above?
Investigative reporter Paul Sperry is reporting that Audrey’s parents may have known a lot more about what their daughter was up to than we realized.
Could they have stopped her?

However, according to disgraced AG Merrick Garland, supposedly nobody knows Audrey’s motive.

Unfortunately for Merrick, nobody believes that hogwash. We all know the killer wrote a manifesto.
It’s categorically laughable to suggest officials aren’t fully aware of the motive of the shooter.
However, the public may never know what really happened… LGBTQ activists are fighting tooth and nail to keep the manifesto buried and as of now, the Nashville police are refusing to release it.

We’re hearing LGBTQ activists are fighting to keep the manifesto buried because they believe if it’s made public, it will place their movement in jeopardy.
Newsweek:
“It should not be published,” Jordan Budd, the executive director of Children of Lesbians and Gays Everywhere (COLAGE), told Newsweek. “The focus should be on how this was able to happen in the first place. There should not be such easy access to deadly weaponry.
“Charles Moran, the national president of Log Cabin Republicans, a GOP organization that advocates for equal rights for LGBTQ+ Americans, also told Newsweek that there are “serious consequences” for the public release of the manifesto.
“While it would certainly give insight into the motivations of this deeply troubled individual that could help shed light into root causes, we know from tragedies like this that additional glorification of the shooter could inspire others to take similar violent acts for attention,” Moran said.
Laura McGinnis, a spokesperson for PFLAG, agreed, telling Newsweek that publication of these documents could increase the risk of contagion. She said that while the manifesto could help law enforcement and policymakers identify potential warning signs to prevent future tragedies, ultimately, “the contents don’t change the outcome of the tragedy.”
“Regardless of the shooter’s intentions, the real issue here is the ease of access to deadly weapons in Tennessee and elsewhere,” Budd said, adding, “All children, no matter who their parents are or how they identify, should feel safe and supported at school. That includes a world free from gun violence.”
The truth is, trans activists want to keep the manifesto buried so the public can’t witness how their destructive rhetoric has radicalized so many young people, turning them into ticking time bombs.
In addition, if the manifesto is released and shines a light on the mental illness within the violent and radicalized trans community, Dems will also have difficulty pushing their beloved gun control agenda.
So, for these very reason, we must keep demanding the manifesto be released.

WATCH: Multiple Arrests Made As Trans Protesters Storm Kentucky Capitol

Note: This article may contain commentary reflecting the author's opinion.
On Wednesday, a group of protesters advocating for transgender individuals stormed the Kentucky Capitol in response to the Kentucky state legislature overriding the veto of Gov. Andy Beshear (D-KY).
The bill in question prohibits discussion of sexual orientation and gender identity in all grades, requires that transgender students use the restroom that corresponds with their biological gender, allows teachers to not use preferred pronouns, bans gender surgery for minors, and requires doctors to detransition individuals if they received ‘gender reassignment’ surgery, as reported by USA Today.

As the legislature considered the veto override, protesters occupied the Capitol building leading to multiple arrests, according to the Lewiston Tribune.
Police initially struggled to apprehend the protesters to escort them from the building, however, about half an hour later they used zip ties to lead the protesters out of the Capitol.
“We welcome everybody to be here, to participate in their government, and want everybody to be here to participate in their government. (But) we do expect that proper levels of decorum will be maintained to allow us to conduct our business,” wrote House Speaker David Osborne (R). “We felt it was important to proceed on with the business thing that we did.”

NHL BACKING DOWN FROM LGBTQ ‘PRIDE’ NIGHTS AFTER COURAGEOUS PROTEST FROM PLAYERS

In response to the protesters occupying the building, users on social media reacted and drew parallels to January 6th.
“Wait. Is it now a good thing to storm capitol buildings? I’m so confused,” wrote one user. “CNN help me!”

“Transurrection,” wrote BlazeTV host Sara Gonzalez.

“After seeing what went down on Jan 6th,” commented another user. “Can someone explain to me how the Trans protesters storming the Kentucky Capitol isn’t considered a Insurrection?”

“Insurrection. Disrupting a government proceeding, even have a dark shaman,” reacted another.

The bill, Senate Bill 150, ultimately passed by overriding the governor’s veto and becoming law.

77% of young Americans too fat, mentally ill, on drugs and more to join military, Pentagon study finds

A Pentagon study revealed that 77 percent of young Americans do not qualify for military service without a waiver due to being overweight, drug use, or mental or physical problems.
“When considering youth disqualified for one reason alone, the most prevalent disqualification rates are overweight (11 percent), drug and alcohol abuse (8 percent), and medical/physical health (7 percent),” the Pentagon’s 2020 Qualified Military Available Study of Americans between the ages of 17 and 24 read.

Several key findings were noted in the summary of the report. For example, most ineligible youth (44 percent) are disqualified for multiple reasons rather than in only one area.
Among those ineligible for only one reason, being overweight was the highest disqualification, at 11 percent. Drug use (8 percent), medical/physical only (7 percent) and mental health only (4 percent) were the other leading categories found in the study.

The largest increases in disqualification estimates observed between 2013 and 2020 were for mental health and overweight conditions. Another key finding was that the proportion of youth both eligible and not currently enrolled in college was only 12 percent.

READ MORE: Ret. Navy SEAL: Democrats’ ‘moral decay’ driving down military recruitment

The concern over the shrinking pool of potential recruits has grown in recent years. Maj. Charlie Dietz, a Department of Defense spokesman, stated that the study confirmed the challenges of recruiting new military members.

“There are many factors that we are navigating through, such as the fact that youth are more disconnected and disinterested compared to previous generations,” Dietz said, according to Military.com. “The declining veteran population and shrinking military footprint has contributed to a market that is unfamiliar with military service resulting in an overreliance of military stereotypes.”
In September, Pentagon leaders sounded the alarm on its recruiting challenges.
“The Department anticipates we will collectively miss our recruiting mission despite accessing more than 170,000 remarkable young men and women” in the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30, Stephanie Miller, deputy assistant secretary of defense for military personnel policy, told the Senate Armed Services Personnel Subcommittee. “This constitutes an unprecedented mission gap and is reason for concern.”
Among the concerns expressed by lawmakers is the COVID-19 vaccine mandate that was only recently ended for the U.S. military. New York Rep. Elise Stefanik (R) pushed for the end of the mandate in her support of December’s National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
“Our country must never fall behind in providing for a strong national defense, which is why I am proud to bring an end to the Biden Administration’s authoritarian COVID vaccine mandate on our servicemen and women that has weakened our military recruitment and impaired our military ranks,” she said in a statement.

A trans-identified male who goes by Lilly, though his given name is William Whitworth, was arrested and charged after a police investigation in Colorado Springs revealed that the 19-year-old was responsible for "threats involving schools in Colorado Springs Academy District 20."

Whitworth faces charges of attempted murder after allegedly making threats against schools in Colorado Springs, Colo., according to local news.

The Elbert County Sheriff's Office charged Whitworth with two counts of a criminal attempt to commit murder in the first degree, criminal mischief, menacing, and interference with staff, faculty or students of educational institutions.

Whitworth is an alum of the school district and attended from 2014-16. Whitworth had attended Timberview Middle School in District 20, and an affidavit showed that this was the school Whitworth planned to target, for "no specific reason."

The investigation began after the sheriff's office was dispatched on March 31 due to a disturbance.

Deputies spoke with someone at the door on that day, and learned that another individual inside was "very upset and punched holes inside the walls." Deputies, however, were not immediately allowed access to the residence.

Once inside, however, deputies found signs that someone had been punching holes in walls, and had ripped doors off their hinges. The person who reported the disturbance was reportedly Whitworth's sister.

Deputies asked Whitworth if he had an intention of harming people at a school, and according to an affidavit, Whitworth indicated that this was the intention.

When asked why, Whitworth said "Why does anyone do it."

Whitworth, deputies noted, appeared to be drunk and made suicidal statements. Additional targets per Whitworth's manifesto were churches, and the planning had been ongoing for a month. Whitworth told officers that he had learned how to make a detonation device on YouTube.

Whitworth's manifesto had a list of school people and shooters with notes next to their names:

"Eric and Dylan: Losers
"Adam Lanza: To smart
"Isreal Keyes: Degenerate
"Lauren Southern: Pathetic
"Vaush: Terrorist
"Donald J. Trump: Con-mam
"Bad cops: Useless garbage
"Stockholm, Name: Liam K."

The manifesto's contents detailed:

"A list of firearms and how to 3D print them; Detailed lists of numerous named individuals to be killed and their indented casualty versus injury rate. Information detailing the creation of improvised explosive devices; The Finalization of locations being Timberview Middle School, Prairie Hills Elementary, and Pine Creek High School."

This comes after trans-identified female Audrey Hale shot 3 children and 3 adults to death in The Covenant School in Nashville, Tenn.

What Horrible People – SNL Makes Fun Of Jesus And President Trump In Same Skit On Easter Weekend

Saturday Night Live (SNL) has really outdone itself. Last night they put together a skit that made fun of Jesus and President Trump. This was a new low.

This is what the far-left lives for – to make fun of Christians and President Trump. This turned out to be one of their worst skits of all-time.
SNL ran a segment last night where they made fun of the last supper and then brought in President Trump to their anti-Christian skit.
In the skit Jesus is at the Last Supper and then they had a skinny guy come in an interrupt the sacred event as Donald Trump.
Character Trump says some things that the far-left haters loved. The character says,
If you haven’t put it together folks, I’m comparing myself to Jesus again. [The left always tries to make President Trump something he’s not and he certainly never compared himself to Jesus. These people are sick.]
And what better time, on his birthday Easter. [SNL doesn’t apparently know or care about the difference between Easter and Christmas.]
Next, SNL insinuates President Trump is a racist:
We’re very similar. We’re both very tall, very popular and both frankly white Americans.
Next, SNL accuses Trump of lies about violence.
And Because I told them exactly what Jesus would have said, get very violent and start a war.
Then they accused President Trump of being anti-gay when talking about DeSantis:
He can’t even get the gays out of Disney World.
Then SNL has their Trump character accuse Jesus of being a Nepo Baby. SNL then accused President Trump of doing wrong with his classified records.
This was tasteless after seeing how the communist left is destroying this country.
What an awful and ignorant skit.

Biden's pick to lead Labor Department a leading proponent of critical race theory

Su wrote in 2005 that American society is 'built on white privilege and systemic racial subordination'
Julie Su, President Biden's pick to lead the Department of Labor (DOL), has been a leading proponent of critical race theory (CRT) for decades, dating back to her time as a civil rights lawyer.
Su – who the Senate confirmed to be deputy DOL secretary in a party-line vote in July 2021 and who has served as acting secretary since March – has been a prominent supporter of CRT, according to a Fox News Digital review of her work since the late 1990s. The left-wing Asian American Pacific Islanders Civic Engagement Fund even credited Su last year with continuing "to push the leading edge of CRT in the legal academy."
"Make your theories into arguments that stand up in court and into foundation proposals that will get us funding for front-line activism… talk about front-line activism and in-your-face street work in your conferences, faculty meetings, classrooms and give your students opportunities to do them," Su remarked during the Critical Race Theory Conference at Yale University in 1997.
The conference's attendees included Derrick Bell, who has been described as the "godfather of CRT," and Lani Guinier, who former President Bill Clinton nominated for assistant attorney general but whose nomination was withdrawn after criticism about her views on racial justice and voting rights. In addition to CRT, conference attendees discussed "Queer Theory and LatCrit Theory."

"Critical Race Theory asserts that Western society is steeped in persistent racial oppression, which law plays a significant role in creating and maintaining," a posting from the 1997 event stated.
Su's remarks at the event, meanwhile, were highlighted in a CRT essay she co-authored in 2002 with Eric Yamamoto, a University of Hawaii professor of law and social justice. The essay was published in an anthology of works titled "Crossroads, Directions and a New Critical Race Theory."
CONSERVATIVES REJOICE AFTER KEY BIDEN NOMINEE WITHDRAWS: 'ENORMOUS VICTORY FOR FREE SPEECH'
"The attack by some that Critical Race Theory is about race, power, and politics but not about law tells us that it is law – or, more specifically, how we traditionally do law – that needs to change," Su's essay states.
"Critical Race Theory writing has begun to explore the new multifaceted coalitions. It has pioneered the concept of intersectionality to explain the confluence of race, class, gender, and sexual orientation and the law’s often hidden contribution to the maintenance of interconnecting forms of social oppression," it continues. "In this fashion, Critical Race Theory and its related schools have provided a framework for diverse alliances to combat the anti-affirmative-action assault."
Su served as deputy labor secretary between July 2021 and March when she took over as acting labor secretary. She was previously California's labor commissioner.

In 2005, Su authored a separate paper titled "Progressive Critique of the Current Socio-Political Landscape: Corporations and Economic Justice." In the paper, she postulated that corporations "promote and perpetuate economic injustice" and that society is built on White privilege.
"Conservatives like to argue that government should get out of the way and that the market will decide," her paper, published in the Seattle Journal for Social Justice, states. "But just as the idea of ‘race neutral’ is not really neutral when you have a society built on white privilege and systemic racial subordination, government inaction really means government sanction and support for unfettered corporate greed."
BIDEN NOMINEE WANTS TO HIJACK LITTLE-KNOWN AGENCY TO RAM THROUGH CLIMATE AGENDA
Su also wrote in the 2005 academic paper that progressives must acknowledge corporations aren't going away and, therefore, work "with, through, and against them" to create a more "just world."
And in 2010, Su took part in a panel discussion titled "Intersectionality and the Courts" at the University of California, Los Angeles Critical Race Studies Symposium. The event was organized by professor Cheryl Harris who has notably argued in the past that property rights are a form of White privilege and that governments must redistribute power and resources "to rectify inequities to achieve real equality."

During the panel discussion, Su said CRT and intersectionality should be utilized by lawyers. She also noted two studies that concluded "the racial or gender identity of the judge has an impact on the outcomes of cases."
"Julie knows in her bones as well the people who get up every morning and go to work and bust their necks just to make an honest living deserve something – someone to fight on their side to give them an even shot. Just a – just a shot so they don’t get stiffed," Biden said at the White House. "Julie has spent her life fighting for that vision, her entire professional career."
However, Su reportedly faces an uphill battle to be confirmed by the Senate. Sen. Joe Manchin, D.-W.Va., has expressed concern about Su to the White House, The Washington Post reported on Thursday, potentially meaning every other Democratic senator, including those facing tough 2024 re-election bids, must vote for her.
And her nomination has been loudly opposed by a wide range of conservative advocacy and small business groups.
Su's confirmation hearing before the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee is scheduled for April 20.
The DOL didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.

Under the Trump administration, the “Targeted Violence & Terrorism Prevention Grant Program” (TVTP) was used to prevent terrorism, but it was revamped under the Biden administration and renamed to provide funding for localities to combat “all forms of terrorism and targeted violence.” Instead of focusing on preventing actual violence and terrorism, the program is now being used to target the entire spectrum of the political right and Christians through “media literacy and online critical thinking initiatives” and other so-called training seminars as part of a coordinated effort to make America into a one-party system.
