Weapons Arrest at School
WEST PHILADELPHIA-November 18, 2004 --Philadelphia police are on the case, after an adult was caught carrying a weapon into the principal's office of an elementary school.
It happened in West Philadelphia at the Bryant Elementary School.
Action News cameras captured a man and a woman being taken away in a police car.
Here is what people inside the school have told Action News:
A female student inside the school was being disruptive this morning. She called her older sister who came over to the school, and the older sister became biligering with the principal and other teachers. One of the teachers then apparently noticed the student's sister had a knife. Police w
ere called and the woman and a man were taken away from the school in a
police car.
The woman never threatened anyone.
The student is being suspended for 5 days.
