The ex-wife of the lovesick Texas stalker who killed a podcast host and her husband before turning the gun on himself said he became despondent when the podcaster ended their friendship.
Neda Meshabim described her ex, Ramin Khodakaramrezaei, to local outlet KRIV as infatuated with the creator after he’d become a fan of hers through the social media app ClubHouse.
The woman, who didn’t want to show her face or have her voice recorded, said Khodakaramrezaei’s admiration for Zohreh Sadeghi, 33, eventually developed into a friendship.
The two sometimes exchanged phone calls and met more than once in person, Meshabim said.
Meshabim and Khodakaramrezaei, 38, were married for seven years and shared a daughter.

Despite filing for divorce five years ago, Khodakaramrezaei often shared details about his love life with his ex since the two are from Iran and don’t have relatives in the US, Meshabim explained.

At some point, Sadeghi, who was married, cut Khodakaramrezaei off, crushing him, Meshabim said.

But the woman said she never imaged her ex-husband, who owned his own trucking company, was capable of driving to Sadeghi’s upscale home in the Seattle suburbs, where he broke into her home Friday and fatally shot her and her husband.

Khodakaramrezaei then turned the gun on himself, police said.

In documents filed for an order of protection on March 3, Sadeghi wrote that she first asked the crazed fan to leave her alone on Nov. 6.

The podcaster claimed he called her more than 10 times a day and left more than 20 daily messages for her husband — some “vulgar, angry and threatening.”

Khodakaramrezaei “has bursts of anger” and his “delusions make me fear for my life and the lives of my loved ones,” Sadeghi wrote in her petition for the protection order.

In December, he went to the podcaster’s home to deliver flowers after her husband had left the house.

However, authorities were not able to serve Khodakaramrezaei with the order as they hadn’t been able to make contact with him.

Early Friday, the trucker climbed through a window of the couple’s home in Redmond and gunned them down before killing himself, authorities said.

Sadeghi’s mother, who was also at the home, escaped to a neighbor’s house to call the police, according to local reports.
