The accident happened yesterday afternoon at Freight and Riverside streets near the intersection of Interstate 84 and Route 8.
Police say a man driving a stolen car crashed into them.
The suspect will be arraigned here at Waterbury Superior Court even as an investigation continues into the possibility he was running from police when the crash happened.
The wreck is what led police to suspect Tamik Heath. Police say the 22 year old was driving a stolen Saturn when he ran a red light smashing into a red Jeep Cherokee.
The two people in the Jeep were killed. Police identified them as a couple in their 60's from Prospe
