SELMA, Ala. - Two Selma men have pleaded guilty to robbing members of the men's basketball team at Wallace Community College.
Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson says 21-year-old Antonio McQueen and 20-year-old Tarrance Hall pleaded guilty to first-degree robbery in return for other charges being dropped. They were each sentenced to 20 years in prison.
The two men were accused of holding members of the Wallace Community College basketball team at gunpoint and taking their money last January.
Two other men are awaiting trial in the case.

SELMA, Ala. - A Wallace State Community College basketball player was jailed Thursday on multiple counts after being accused of assisting three Montgomery men in robbing six of his teammates at gunpoint.
Police Lt. Susan Smith said Borzie Nelson, 20, and three Montgomery men are accused of robbing the six team members early Wednesday at Cloverdale Apartments.
She said it appeared that Nelson sat in the car while the other suspects carried out the robbery.
"The suspects entered the apartment of two of the players and demanded money," Smith said. "They then took those victims to the apartment where the other players lived and robbed all of them."

According to police reports, the suspects took several thousand dollars in grant money, cell phones and other items. Smith speculated that Nelson might have known his teammates had received the grant money and plotted with the others to rob
them. Nelson, Antonio McQueen, 20, Terrance Hall, 19, and Centario Williams, 20, face robbery, burglary and kidnapping charges.
Nelson was suspended pending the results of an investigation. The players were not harmed during the robbery.
