3 charged in beating of Glen Ellyn man

WHEATON -- Three men have been charged with beating a Glen Ellyn man who was dating the younger sister of one of his attackers.
According to police, Naveed K. Sulemani, 27, of Zion disapproved of his 16-year-old sister's relationship with the 18-year-old man.

Now he and two friends, Mather I. Moosa, 27, of Beach Park and Shadab Mumtaz, 17, of Lombard, are facing as many as 42 years in prison if convicted on each of the eight felony counts on which a DuPage County grand jury indicted them this week.
The three men have been charged with mob action, two counts of vehicular invasion and five counts of aggravated battery for the alleged March 23 beating.
According to police reports, a vehicle driven by the three men cut in front of the man's car on Surrey Drive, preventing him from leaving.
The men then exited their vehicle and allegedly pulled the man from his car and proceeded to beat him about his head and body with a crow bar, according to court records.
Sulemani's sister also was a victim, as she was a passenger in the man's car from which she was allegedly pulled by her hair and thrown to the ground, according to court records.
Upon police arrival, the Glen Ellyn man was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove for treatment of injuries sustained in the brawl, according to police. He was later released.
With no significant criminal history
, Sulemani, Moosa and Mumtaz each have posted the 10 percent required of their bond for release and have arraignment dates pending in DuPage County Circuit Court in Wheaton on the new indictments.
Since their initial arrest, a property forfeiture and seizure case has been filed against Moosa's 2000 Pontiac Bonneville, which was allegedly used in the crime.:lol: According to court records the case is set for status Aug. 1.
I don't know specifics of the case, but strongly suspect that the girl's beaten boyfriend was not muslim. Seems typical of those jihadi terrorists - they prey on our women, but start a violent chimpout like described in the article when one of their women is involved with a non-muslim. And they dare to call it "religion of peace". Let these jihadi invaders burn in hell!
