Online Chat Prompts Child Porn Charges

LILBURN, Ga. -- A judge denied bond Tuesday for a Lilburn man who was charged with distribution of child pornography.

Authorities said Bishara Shorrosh, 51, e-mailed child porn to an undercover investigator with the Lilburn Police Department.

Police said a tip from a woman who had been chatting with Shorrosh online led them to investigate the man. The woman allegedly told authorities that she and Shorrosh were chatting when the conversation turned “eerie.â┚¬ She said Shorrosh told her he liked teen boys and girls.

Police said a search of Shorrosh
’s home revealed he had eight computers -- which investigators are examining for possible evidence.

Channel 2 Action News reporter Manuel Bojorquez knocked on Shorrosh's door and the woman who answered -- who only identified herself as a relative -- said he was "completely innocent".

Lilburn police said more charges are likely.
