The ex-NYPD cop accused of nearly hacking his elderly mother’s head off with a machete in Queens last year has been indicted on a murder charge, prosecutors said Thursday.

Osvaldo Diaz, 46, used the weapon to stab and slash his 78-year-old mother Maria Diaz, leaving her bleeding to death inside the second-floor apartment they shared above a beauty salon on Hillside Avenue in Jamaica on Feb. 24, authorities said.

Police have charged Winston Glynn for the East Harlem Burger King murder that ended the life of 19-year-old Kristal Bayron Nieves. The 30-year-old man is facing robbery, murder and weapons charges. Police continue to investigate the crime.

According to police, Winston Glynn used to work at the same Burger King as the victim, but a year apart. Officers believe the robbery was planned because of Glynn’s knowledge of the location. They don’t believe the suspect and victim ever interacted before the murder.

FEASTERVILLE, Pa. (CBS) — The search is on for a robber with an unusual disguise. Lower Southampton police are looking for the suspect nicknamed the “Famed Cash-Squatch of Feasterville.”

He was all wrapped up in white-vanilla-scented garbage bags when he robbed a Sunoco gas station back in December. More than a year later, police identified the suspect as Jonathan Nelson, but they still need help finding him.

Police are searching for a suspect who shot a 27-year-old man during a parking dispute in Manhattan early New Year’s Day.

The shooting took place on West 38th Street near 10th Avenue at about 5:15 a.m. after the victim ran up to the suspect’s white 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee that was stopped at a red light, cops said.
