CONVENT, La. -- St. James Parish Sheriff's deputies are pursuing charges against New Orleans rap artist Jerome Cosey, who performs as Fifth Ward Weebie, in connection with an April 16 fatal shooting in a Vacherie night club.
Cosey is wanted on charges of accessory to second-degree murder. He allegedly left the scene with an unidentified man who is suspected of shooting James Robinson III, of Mount Airy.
