A father was stabbed to death by his teenage son inside their Brooklyn home, cops said Sunday.

The 56-year-old father, Mohammad Razzaq, was discovered lying face up in the living room around 10 p.m. Saturday, after police responded to an assault at 644 East 3rd Street in Kensington, cops said.

His son, Hassan Razzaq, 19, was arrested for allegedly stabbing his father in the throat with a kitchen knife, sources said.

It is not immediately clear what the motive was, police said.

The teen was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

A Brooklyn teen accused of fatally stabbing his dad is a good kid pushed to the brink by an abusive father who had been molesting one of the boy’s sister’s, neighbors and prosecutors said Sunday.

“The son is a good son. He was getting beat every night,” a neighbor named Bobby said of 19-year-old Hassan Razzaq. “This was a tragedy waiting to happen. The neighborhood knows about it, the police officers know about it, everybody knows about it.”

“I don’t feel one bit sorry for the victim. That’s how sad it is,” said Bobby, who lives across the street. He would give only his first name.

Razzaq was arrested Saturday night for allegedly plunging a kitchen knife into his 56-year-old father’s throat at their home on East Third Street in Kensington.

Mohammad Razzaq was discovered by cops lying face-up in the living room at around 10 p.m. by police responding to a report of an assault, officials said.

“[Hassan] came running out. I said, ‘What’s the matter?’ He said, ‘Bobby, please don’t get involved. Stay out of it.’ I said, ‘What did you do?’ And then he just took off,” the neighbor recalled.

Hassan Razzaq was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon. He was held without bail, as his family sat stoned-faced in Brooklyn Criminal Court.

Hassan had recently learned that one of his sisters had been molested by his dad for years, a prosecutor said.

The father had just come back from Pakistan and the teen feared that another, 15-year-old sister would become the next victim, said ADA, Tziyonah Langsom.

Cops said they had been repeatedly called to the house in the past to handle disputes involving Mohammad Razzaq and his family. The father lived at the home with his wife and five kids, who range in age from around 9 to 21.

“The guy was an animal,’’ Bobby said. “I told [him] six months ago, ‘If I find out you’re beating your wife and kids up there, I’ll come in there and beat the s–t out of you.’ This is how bad it got. Most people here know, [but] they don’t want to get involved. I think it came to the point of no return.

“I will go to court for that boy [Hassan],’’ the neighbor added. “He needs to be punished, but they’ve got to be lenient.”

Another neighbor, Gissette Vasquez, said she saw the son after the slaying, and “he don’t say anything, but he looked scared.”

The Brooklyn teen who allegedly stabbed his dad to death for abusing him and his siblings for years has been indicted on murder charges, prosecutors said Friday.

Hassan Razzaq, 19, now faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted in the attack last month. The Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office said last week that it was weighing whether the charges were appropriate.

The teen, wearing a bandage on his right arm, appeared dejected in Brooklyn Supreme Court as the charges were announced. More than 50 family and friends were in the gallery. Many burst into tears.

“They’re shocked. Anyone that hears ‘murder’ is going to be shocked,” said his lawyer, Michael Cibella. “We’re disappointed, but it’s not unexpected that the indictment was handed down.”

Razzaq allegedly plunged a knife in his father Mohammad’s throat at their Kensington home July 18.

Mohammad Razzaq, 56, had just returned early from a months-long stay in his native Pakistan and subjected Hassan and Hassan’s 15-year-old sister to hours of abuse, Cibella has said.

“There’s a lot more to this story that needs to be brought out,” the lawyer said on Friday.

Razzaq and his five siblings were routinely subjected to sexual and other physical abuse by their father, the attorney has said.

The dad sexually abused his wife and once allegedly threatened his 20-year-old daughter, “I can cut you into pieces and put you in a suitcase and no one would ever find you.”

Mohammad Razzaq was buried this week in Pakistan, and none of his family in the United States attended, Cibella said.

Dozens of Hassan Razzaq’s supporters have shown up at his court appearances in T-shirts printed with “#FreeHassanRazzaq.”

They have started a petition on Change.org to bring his case to President Obama’s attention. It has been signed by more than 1,100 people.

Relatives met with prosecutors over the past week, Cibella said.

“This case is 10 days old — to say you have the entire picture is premature,” the lawyer said.

He said he would argue for reasonable bail when Razzaq is arraigned. Razzaq is being held without bail.

The family of a Brooklyn teen who fatally stabbed his abusive father posted $1 million in collateral to free him from jail Friday.

Hassan Razzaq’s relatives sobbed and hugged in the hallway after the judge OK’d the move.

“Oh, my god, I can’t believe it,” one of Razzaq’s sisters said after hearing her 19-year-old brother would be coming home with an ankle bracelet.

Razzaq’s lawyer, Michael Cibella, claimed the dad’s abuse was widespread and horrific.

“The deceased abused physically, mentally, and sexually every child in the household, including his wife,” he said. “The extent of that abuse, the effect of that abuse, will come out.”

Slain dad Mohammad Razzaq, 56, had just returned early from a failed business trip to his native Pakistan when he unleashed on his son and 15-year-old daughter, prompting Hassan to stab him in the neck.

Hassan’s family and supporters appeared in court Friday wearing T-shirts emblazoned with the hashtag #FreeHassanRazzaq.

He was expected to be released early Saturday.

Hassan faces 25 years to life if convicted.

The Brooklyn teen who allegedly stabbed his abusive father to death in July has been so scarred by the ordeal he has spent the last month in a psychiatric ward, his lawyer told a judge Friday.

Hassan Razzaq, 19, is being treated at Weill Cornell’s Payne Whitney Clinic in Manhattan for the trauma of the killing and the years of violent physical and sexual abuse he endured at the hands of his father, said attorney Michael Cibella in Brooklyn Supreme Court.

Razzaq, who was sprung from Rikers Island on $1 million bond two months ago, “voluntarily” checked himself in, Cibella says.

“He’s in one of the best psychiatric hospitals in the city,” the lawyer said outside court. “They obviously see a need to continue treatment for the years of abuse he sustained.”

The college student is charged with plunging a knife into dad Mohammad’s throat after the man unexpectedly returned from Pakistan — and took out his rage over a failed business deal on Hassan and his 15-year-old sister, beating them in the hours before his death.

The Brooklyn man accused of stabbing to death his dad after withstanding years of abuse has been re-arrested for threatening to kill his sister, authorities said.

Concerned family and friends scraped together a $1 million bond to free Hassan Razzaq after he was nabbed for knifing his father Mohammad as he slept last July.

Razzaq’s attorney Michael Cibella had argued that the then-19-year-old and his sisters and mother had sustained decades of sexual, physical, and mental abuse by their dad, and his client snapped when his dad returned from a trip and escalated the violence.

But Saturday, a furious Razzaq broke into his sister’s room and pushed her onto the bed, court documents say.

“Give me your f—ing phone or I’ll kill you,” he said to the girl, according to the criminal complaint.

Razzaq was hauled back to Rikers and denied bail during his weekend arraignment on charges of robbery, criminal mischief, attempted assault, menacing, and harassment.

It was not immediatley clear if the new arrest will impact his previous bail status.

Since his release last year, Razzaq has admitted himself into a psychiatric facility, fought the Administration of Children’s services to stay in his Kensington home, and started college.

The young man faces up to 25 years to life in prison on the murder charge.

He’s due back in court on the assault case Friday.

A Brooklyn grand jury indicted the teen who was out on bail after allegedly murdering his father — and then re-arrested on assault charges for threatening to kill his sister — on the lesser charge of criminal mischief late Tuesday.

Hassan Razzaq, who has been in and out of mental hospitals since his family put up the $1 million bond last June, was rearrested last week after he broke his sisters door down and threatened his sister when she wouldn’t give her his cell phone.

Razzaq, now 20, will remain remanded at Rikers until June as his attorney and the court attempt to come up with a solution that addresses his mental health needs — which his lawyer Michael Cibella says stems from years of emotional, mental, physical, and sexual abuse.

“Everyone in the family has been trying to recover from the years of abuse they afflicted at the hands of their father, especially Hassan,” Cibella said.

“There’s some work to do, in order to ensure Hassan gets the help he needs,” the lawyer added.

The arrest violates his bail conditions, meaning his family may have to forfeit the hefty bond, but at this point it has not been revoked, the lawyer said.

Razzaq is accused of stabbing his father Mohammed to death with two different knives as he napped on the couch of their Kensington home last July.

The teen accused of fatally stabbing his father and then threatening his sister’s life while he was out on bail was arraigned on the menacing rap Thursday in Brooklyn Supreme Court — and this time, he was kept in jail.

Hassan Razzaq, 20, had been rearrested in April after having been out on $1 million bond secured by his family’s home.

At Razzaq’s arraignment Thursday, his lawyer, Michael Cibella, argued that he didn’t think prosecutors have a strong case in the alleged threat case, noting that his client’s sister recanted her accusations against Razzaq, who was remanded without bail.

“His sister has given a sworn affidavit that the incident didn’t happen,” Cibella said referring to Razzaq’s alleged attack of his sister where he broke through her bedroom door, threw her onto the bed, and stole her cellphone.

The Razzaq family had tried to sell their Kensington home but were unable to because it was being used to back Hassan’s release on bond. Cibella stated that the family was stuck with the house, “ultimately leading to the allegations that were quickly recanted.”

While Razzaq was out, he had been receiving psychiatric treatment, having seen a doctor four times to treat mental problems arising from the abuse the whole family faced at the hands of their father, Mohammed, according to Cibella. He added that Razzaq had been treated for suicidal attempts and thoughts.

If convicted of murder, Razzaq faces 25 years to life in prison. He is set to appear again in court July 13.

A Brooklyn teen accused of fatally stabbing his abusive father — and then threatening to kill his sister over a cell phone — refused to take a plea deal Tuesday in the lesser case.

Prosecutors offered Hassan Razzaq one year in jail for the April 30 incident in which he allegedly broke down his sister’s door, pushed her down on the bed and stole her phone, spitting, “Give me your f—ing phone or I’ll kill you!”

The sister recanted her accusations, but Razzaq was still indicted on charges of criminal mischief and faces up to a year in jail if convicted, according to defense lawyer Michael Cibella.

The 20-year-old suspect had been out on $1 million bail, which was posted by his family, at the time of the phone incident.

He maintains he did not threaten his sister.

Razzaq, whose mental health has been fragile since the July 2015 killing of his dad, rubbed his cuffed wrists methodically as he stood before Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice William Miller in prison duds.

His family, usually present, was not in court.

Razzq will return to court Sept. 9 on the murder case.

The Brooklyn man accused of killing his abusive dad is mulling a plea deal, it was revealed in court Monday.

Hassan Razzaq faces murder charges for the fatal stabbing of his father, Mohammed Razzaq, in July 2015 as the dad napped on the family’s couch in Kensington.

The 22-year-old suspect’s family initially rallied behind him, pulling together assets in order to get Razzaq released on $1 million bail.

But the he landed back behind bars after he was accused of attacking one of his sisters — allegedly threatening to kill her — in May 2016. He was then slapped with charges of criminal mischief for that incident.

Razzaq remained silent in court Monday on both cases, shifting around in his cuffs as Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Vincent DelGiudice addressed the empty gallery.

“Prosecutors and the defense are engaged in substantial plea negotiations,” the jurist said, before adjourning the case to Aug. 1.

DelGiudice declined to renew an order of protection taken out on behalf of Razzaq’s sister, saying it was no longer necessary.

Razzaq previously shot down a plea deal related to the criminal mischief charge, which would have offered him a year in jail.

If convicted of murder, he faces up to life behind bars.

A Brooklyn teen admitted Wednesday that he stabbed his father to death in 2015 but said he did it following years of sexual and physical abuse.

Hassan Razzaq confessed to the fatal knifing following his guilty plea in Brooklyn Supreme Court to first-degree manslaughter. As part of the deal, the 22-year-old will be sentenced to five years behind bars.

“My father had been abusing my sisters and my mom, for as long as I can remember,” the 22-year-old told the court quietly. “He came home and continued with the abuse, so I killed him.”

Razzaq knifed his father, Mohammed Razzaq, after he returned unexpectedly from a trip to Pakistan, and began beating one of his sisters, he said.

“You stabbed him with a knife?” Justice Vincent DelGiudice asked Razzaq during the plea.

“Yes,” he grunted, looking down at the table.

“You wanted to hurt him pretty badly, but you didn’t want him to die?” the jurist asked.

“Yes,” Razzaq replied, still hanging his head.

None of the young man’s family were in court for the plea.

“He’s relieved,” defense attorney Michael Cibella said after the plea hearing. “He’s certainly relieved to have this matter closed, and to know that he will be free.”

“This is someone who’s been a victim his entire life, and has a great deal of healing to still go through,” the lawyer said, sighing. “His entire life he was witness to and subject to horrific abuse.”

Razzaq is scheduled to return to court Sept. 26 for sentencing.

The legal tale of a Brooklyn teen who slaughtered his father to save his sister ended Wednesday, when the admitted killer was sentenced to five years behind bars.

A stoic-looking Hassan Razzaq, now 22, remained silent as he received his sentence.

Razzaq was just 19 when his father, Mohammed Razzaq, returned unexpectedly from a trip to Pakistan and began attempting to sexually assault his own daughter in the family’s Kensington home.

The college freshman intervened by plunging a kitchen knife into his dad’s throat, killing him.

Earlier this month, Razzaq pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in exchange for the sentence, confessing that a lifetime of sexual and emotional abuse at the hands of his dad pushed him to the brink in 2015.

“My father had been abusing my sisters and my mom, for as long as I can remember,” he revealed quietly at the time. “He came home and continued with the abuse, so I killed him.”

No family appeared in court for the sentencing.

Defense attorney Michael Cibella said his young client, who had just started college when the stabbing occurred, intends to head back to school when he walks free.

“We have gotten to the point now where he can begin to move forward from this,” the lawyer said. “He’s looking forward to getting back on track.”
